I don't know how you haven't gained a massive following yet because you do some of the most unique shit I see on here, even down to the detail of keeping the little white fan control indicators there. I personally woulda painted over them and forgot about them but you took the time to make sure it looked stock quality again! Very very well done

Hy, really good work. I have put some alcantara imitat on the panels. Without the foam it works better. To put the panels back on the doorboard i put some heat-glue on it.
what type of glue you use for this job ??

Awesome work! How did you attach the panel afet the melted tabs were removed?
I used 2 component epoxy on the same tabs that were partially removed
Dude! Firstly i like your channel. Some advice which might take you some extra time is that the items you use like the spray glue and stuff, if u put the names or brands of the items or what it even is or show the cans/bottles would be very helpful. Keep it up mate

I have a 2.3 v5 bora :) I actually love it, its got a lot of problems, i bought it for 700 bucks but ive fixed most issues. just some electrical issues now. not much for performance but the low end torque makes it easy to drive

That part is of course really difficult. I have Put some heat-glue on it. Because lot of this plastic clips are broken.

Maar hoe plaats je die panelen dan weer terug want je knip die dingen waarmee die vast zit kapot?
Ik knip alleen het lipje van het gesmolten plastic stuk, het plastic palletje blijft heel zodat ik hier later 2 componenten epoxy op kan doen, welke hetzelfde effect heeft als het gesmolten plastic lipje

Yea soooo many creases in his fabric from improperly applying the alcantara... plus i noticed he used his BARE HANDS, WITHOUT GLOVES while pressing down on the foam padding... now this will cause adhesion problems in the future and ur newly applied fabric with do the same thing ur stock stuff did because kf the oils from ur hands.... good gried this was a horrible video to watch

What's with all the dislikes?
I'm not certain, but if I had to guess it's likely because of 3 issues:
#1 - He didn't even attempt to remove any of the nearly 20-year-old original manufacturer's adhesive (that burnt-orange/brown coating you see on every panel) before applying spray adhesive and the foam batting. That ancient adhesive failed to continue holding the OEM cloth interior, and will most likely cause his new door panel covers to peel off just like the original cloth did.
#2 - The foam batting he used was a bit too thick, especially when taking into account my #1 guess above.
#3 - The final result honestly didn't really look so great. There were creases, slack fabric, and uneven adhesion of the cloth (again, please see #1 on this list).
Either way, I gave a thumbs up, and very much appreciate OP for sharing these guides! I'm pretty sure I've watched them all AT LEAST once each. Keep em coming, @HaNni's Engineering! Cheers, and MK4 4EVER!!!
