Going over early can be beneficial if they don’t have a roadblock or sky wave or muramasa. Yes krieger can still be a little scary, but if you close the gap on him he is an easy kill. If they do have one of those 3 though, you need to wait until they are close to the end. The chaos of fighting multiple carnotauras’ vs just 1 or a carno and triceratops vs just the triceratops can easily win you the game. If you want to make sure you beat the dominator quickly every time, try to run a roadblock, skywave, and barrage/deadeye. Roadblock stops all Dino’s in its tracks if played right, sky waves overdrive is a dominators nightmare, and barrage and deadeye both can output huge dmg if they hit their shots. Whatever you do, do not get hit more then twice or you’ll risk being juggled
The only thing I don’t agree fully on is the suit swapping. I’ve never enjoyed a game that says “if you are losing, just put this on”. In the pvp modes it absolutely sucks. Keep in mind they were losing by a good 20-30 seconds if not more. It’s kinda saddening when that happens because the only thing that allowed them to win is the exo change. I've only used the Dominator once. I accidently picked it up trying to revive one of my teammates when we were protecting a point on a bridge. Thankfully I didn't accidently use it, especially since I was playing as Skywave and was our team's only support. The opposing team was already on the final point as we got to ours. Realizing this I decided to risk leaving the team without a healer and used the dominator. Once I spawned in on the enemy team I focused on one thing, their defense point. I managed to destroy it before they could use their ults to take me out fast. I respawned with my team and quickly healed them as they finished off the last percentage we needed, and we pulled out a win. I would recommend an assault player takes them though as tanks and support are important to the team. Losing your healer can go wrong fast, and if you don't have deployable barriers to craft then the loss of a tank's shield could be just as problematic.
The Dominators need to be avout 25-35% weaker or slower (depending on the dino) and each team should earn one per round but you lose the first one upon teleporting if it hasnt been used

I know the game is about "suit mastering" rather than build crafting, but I do kinda miss grinding out some gear or suit-pieces - still a lot of old school fun!
Yea getting the dominator early seems like a trap getting it early. But it also makes sense once youre used to the game. Gives you the opportunity to wait till the best tine to use it. Also since it notifies the other team it makes them sweat a little. If there was always a certain point you got it itd be too easy to prepare. Plus whiever grabs it has to keep in mind that the other team will also get one. I played a lot yesterday and doesnt seem too confusing for people. I always see them pop up during either a harder dino fight or the last objective
I usually wait until later on, in the head-to-head, when the enemy team is also preoccupied by my teammates, I will get the enemy team with hit and run tactics to keep their attention divided and try to secure the win. That said, sometimes an enemy team has appropriately stockpiled their ultimate attacks and can take my Dom out without much trouble.
If you pay attention to the arrows on a control point/push the cart objectives, you only need 4 people on a control point for max capture speed, and only 3 on a “push the cart” objective. So having 5/5 on a control point or cart is useless.
@@PeopleRTheProblem I was suggesting people watch this INSTEAD of relying on the reviews on Steam, for instance, which is littered with downvotes on predominantly sub 5 hour accounts.
Another note on Dominators: wave resets INCLUDE Dominators. If you port in as a T-Rex, and they finish the wave 10 seconds after you head over, you basically wasted the dominator, as it'll die immediately and send you back. The best time to use it is at the start of the round, when you have the most time to wreak havoc and the enemy team has to focus on you, giving your team more time to get ahead in the wave.
For tip 2, I've been really surprised by how much fun I've been having playing flex. I normally play only support/healer and I was really looking forward to that. But there's a surprising amount of people playing healer, so I've had to switch off many times.....and I love it. I can't believe I'm actually having fun playing dps classes haha. I'm very impressed with the game so far
I haven't played it yet, but I am interested in playing all three tanks as well as Nimbus and Skywave. Assault doesn't seem as fun to me as tanking and healing.
I’m curious why people don’t like the pvp or the dominators me and my friends have loved them so far. I’m just wondering what peoples reasons are for not liking it? I feel like I’ve hear it a lot.
I imagine it's because PvPvE is niche in comparison to PvP and PvE. People who love PvE usually don't want PvP interrupting it, and people who play PvP will just play something else. I don't think it's bad, but I'm personally here to shoot a T-rex in the face.
I feel like it would really help the game if they put something in the menu that would show that there are more missions to unlock and additional content. Not knowing that more modes will unlock later could hurt the game
How tf do you use the dominator? There was no tutorial and the moves don't make any sense to me. I find myself fighting the controls to get it to go in the direction I want to attack the suits I want.
And stay in the defense zone! My god most randoms will go push outside the zone and cause you to lose. It charges depending on how many players are in the zone, not kills
PVP in this game actually gets worse as you unlock later missions. The PVP is basically 99% PVE so it's just not going to keep a competitive scene unfortunately until they fix it.
I disagree with tip 2 a little bit It takes ages to level exo suits to unlock the cool modules that really make a difference. Level 16 nimbus is a completely different exo than level 5 nimbus for example. So if you keep swapping it will take months to level up a exo. At the beginning of the game its only push the cube game mode anyway and you can grind out whatever exo you want even if you lose and then completely turn the game around by flanking the enemy team early in the cube push. If you are playing with friends it's even better you leave 1 healer and 2 attault / tanks at the cube And you flank the enemy team with 1 healer and 1 assault / tank. The enemy team is gonna be so scattered and tunneled into pvp that you can completely push the cube and they lose.
when u saw most ppl are using katana & slashing the dinos happily without looking at the target dinos (especially the flying ones, sniping ones, the one that use head bump), u're gonna know this time is a confirm lose most melee ppl too hype with those dino hordes adrenaline rush over head
I'll admit, as someone who has played as Zephyr and Roadblock, this is true. I have literally gotten to the point of focusing on those specific dinos to progress the mission. For Roadblock I just taunt more to pull the damn birds into punching range, and Zephyr usually has a cannon or his air combo to forward combo abilities to help clear the skies. Otherwise, I'd be stuck relying on the team, and they aren't always paying attention. Still surprised I managed to get a neo sniper dino. as Roadblock, without it teleporting away.

Another question is the gameplay loop. If the objective fact is they don’t tell you what game modes will be in the game until you’ve spent 15 plus hours is strike two. Next is the objective fact that there are a lot of micro transactions on top of a battle pass on top of paying for the game. Strike three. Definitely adds a reactionary strategic element~ Forgive me for talking about Salmon run in an Exo video but that feature did give me an idea. Imagine if there was a seperate perminant mode in Salmon where you could choose which weapon you'd like depending on the wave coming up I'd imagine it'd be similar to eggstra work but with zero weird competitiveness; first round starts at either the average hazard level of the group or EVP 40's hazard whichevers lower, then progressively gets harder. I'm thinking that each player picks 3 weapons at the start of the shift which creates a pool of 12 total weapons that everyone each round can choose between. Maybe only one person per weapon, maybe allowing dupes *shrug* If two players choose the same weapon then a random one gets added to the pool I would freaking adore that mode and I know a bunch of people who dont get into Salmon Run because they dislike the random weapon mechanic; a mode like this would massively help folks like that imo

You do always have the high ground.
The missions slowly get more intense. Love the gradual build up.
The comments here have me very excited and optimistic for this game. I was already very happy with it but the betas were obviously missing some things. Yall got me convinced this game is really gonna be fighting for all my time
This seems really fun !
It is honestly think of Dynasty warriors with exo suits and dinosaur with some pvp included
I looooooved the Neosaur battle. It was absolutely nuts but so fun.
My favorite game this year, fucking love it exo suits and dinosaurs, hopefully they add some more modes in the future months
I know the game is about "suit mastering" rather than build crafting, but I do kinda miss grinding out some gear or suit-pieces - still a lot of old school fun!
The game still has quite a huge grind to unlock all your modules!
Watching the objective(dino count) is sooooo key. And grouping up when necessary.
@@WoodlandDrake yea a tem that actually holds their ultimates will wreck that sheeet. I always save nine for it.
If you pay attention to the arrows on a control point/push the cart objectives, you only need 4 people on a control point for max capture speed, and only 3 on a “push the cart” objective. So having 5/5 on a control point or cart is useless.
Everyone needs to watch this before reading reviews. Top notch.
Why? Reviews say all the same stuff. At least the reviews I’ve watched.
@@PeopleRTheProblem I was suggesting people watch this INSTEAD of relying on the reviews on Steam, for instance, which is littered with downvotes on predominantly sub 5 hour accounts.
@@cooperpenn4145 why not watch both?
Another note on Dominators: wave resets INCLUDE Dominators. If you port in as a T-Rex, and they finish the wave 10 seconds after you head over, you basically wasted the dominator, as it'll die immediately and send you back. The best time to use it is at the start of the round, when you have the most time to wreak havoc and the enemy team has to focus on you, giving your team more time to get ahead in the wave.
And then you get nuked by 2 barrage ults and are sent back anyway
Great video!!! Looking forwards to more tutorials!!
PTFO is the most important tip. Stay in the defence area. It makes it go faster.
This game is awesome
Theres nothing worse than playing Roadblock or Murasame when you have to kill certain enemies out of range and the dps just keep attacking raptors😂.
I was honestly shocked at the number of people who play support.
That being said, a lot are Nimbus players who get 1k total heals in a game. XD
I haven't played it yet, but I am interested in playing all three tanks as well as Nimbus and Skywave.
Assault doesn't seem as fun to me as tanking and healing.
Had a team that didn’t look at missions all we had to do was kill one more flyer and all of them were shooting at the raptors 🤦♂️
Just spend more than one day playing it! It gets really crazy!
PVP games get a bit too "sweaty" for a lot of people and it isn't fun unless they can get a premade group with comms.
this game so fire bro
Skywave and Roadblock and Prepared Ults are a Dominator’s worse nightmare
I got nuked by barrage once defiantly felt bad.
@@WanBelltrum 😂 A flanking Barrage is cancer. Me and 2 other teammates riding the payload got sent back to respawn by one. Agree 💯%
Muranasume also shreds them
I feel like it would really help the game if they put something in the menu that would show that there are more missions to unlock and additional content. Not knowing that more modes will unlock later could hurt the game
Absolutely. Also where was the advertising? I only saw this game because it was released on gamepass. Idk wtf capcom is thinking.
Is there any way to increase the contrast between the Dino’s and the background? They all seem to blend in with the surroundings…
i used dom when i knew they had 2 carnos to kill i got ulted 4 times and the other carnos had a field day with them
How tf do you use the dominator? There was no tutorial and the moves don't make any sense to me. I find myself fighting the controls to get it to go in the direction I want to attack the suits I want.
I really want more pvp
And stay in the defense zone! My god most randoms will go push outside the zone and cause you to lose. It charges depending on how many players are in the zone, not kills
do you need to actually watch the cutscenes and data analysis to unlock more content?
You don't have to watch - can skip if you want
@@HDHaZmY I guess I mean do the data analysis stuff have to be selected and started at least?
PVP in this game actually gets worse as you unlock later missions.
The PVP is basically 99% PVE so it's just not going to keep a competitive scene unfortunately until they fix it.
I'm trying to figure out how when teleport in as a trex and I get instantly killed as soon as I spawn in. Like how they do so much dmg
"Game developer is Japanese and they like to hold your hand"
*Laughs in FromSoft*
I disagree with tip 2 a little bit
It takes ages to level exo suits to unlock the cool modules that really make a difference.
If you are playing with friends it's even better you leave 1 healer and 2 attault / tanks at the cube
And you flank the enemy team with 1 healer and 1 assault / tank.
The enemy team is gonna be so scattered and tunneled into pvp that you can completely push the cube and they lose.
I hate when people dont look at dinosaurs that you need to kill lol smh
So I need to advance the campaign to inlock more stuff? So far I unlocked the pvp and pve and stopped playing the campaign
You just have to play multiplaye and watch the cutscenes you unlock - it will give you additional modes for your multiplayer
when u saw most ppl are using katana & slashing the dinos happily without looking at the target dinos (especially the flying ones, sniping ones, the one that use head bump), u're gonna know this time is a confirm lose most melee ppl too hype with those dino hordes adrenaline rush over head
This looks fun but the price tho...
I know it brutal wait until it get discount
Free on Gamepass!
@@okashiad6930 also available day one!
@@okashiad6930 I asked it before and I'll ask it again, what is GamePass?
@@trickygamer555Its an xbox subscription where you have access to hundreds of >selected< games for you to freely download and play anytime you want without paying for it. Over time the selection will add new games to play but will also take away older game pass games to make space for the new ones. To put it simply its basically Netflix but for games
Actually i love the game it's gotten me away from gears 5 an borderlands
I'm just sad the game is always pvp. I just wanna play some chill pve missions and make those about difficulty of the missions rather than minmaxing killing trash mobs as fast as possible so you can be faster than the other team.
I had the game wishlisted on Steam for quite a while, saw it released with mixed reviews and decided to read them. Some reviews were fairly objective, and some were just the usual whiners crying about "PvPvE" which is kinda cool in my opinion since it's just competition. Despite the reviews, i just decided I'm going to form my on damn opinion and buy the game, because the videos looked good. $60 is not a waste to me if i get to form an opinion..
Lol you’re not forming you own opinion. You’re looking at videos and buying because it looks cool.
@@PeopleRTheProblem no shit Sherlock 😆
The videos got me interested yes, and it does look cool, but that's no way to form an opinion about a game unless you play it. It's all about the famous phrase "all that glitters is not gold", so you have to see for yourself by playing it..
@@Agamemnon-w9x no you don’t. All that glitters is not gold…correct….but there’s a thing called asking question. An example would be “wait then what else glitters?”. See asking this question gets one the answer without spending money. I can form my opinion without spending the money.
@@PeopleRTheProblem Objectivity in reviews aren't always the same among people, like for example, some ppl are turned off by PvPvE, mainly the PvP part, and they call it bad because they cry about "forced pvp". I for one like that element, so I have to see for myself if it's good relative to my own tastes...
If I were to ask a question to someone who played the game, with different biases than my own, they would probably say it sucks. It's like asking someone who went mountain climbing for the first time, and had an unpleasant experience relative to their own biases, it may not be that way for me, and the only way to resolve that is to 'experience it myself'..
It reminds me of that hate trend ppl had against Cyberpunk 2077..
@@Agamemnon-w9x that’s because you’re questions aren’t the questions you should be asking. Why would you asked someone a subjective question when deciding whether you will like it? My questions would concern objective facts, like forced PvP. For me PvP sucks. For you it doesn’t. But the only part that matters is the objective fact that it’s in the game. Another question is the gameplay loop. If the objective fact is they don’t tell you what game modes will be in the game until you’ve spent 15 plus hours is strike two. Next is the objective fact that there are a lot of micro transactions on top of a battle pass on top of paying for the game. Strike three. If you want to roll the dice with your money it’s not my place (or desire) to stop you. In fact I encourage it. You have a good time. I don’t have a bad time. Everyone wins.
Game would been even better if there wasn't soo many derp's on my team lol
Me Playing Mursame : Man this is the worst tank. its just a crappy DPS I cant do anything
Other team playing Mursame: I, no WE are immortal and now you peasants will die.........FULL COUNTER!
PRO TIP: I suggest you buy 1 month of game pass first rather than paying the full retail price. Thank me later!
Coming from someone who already unlocked and maxed out everything, IT GETS MORE DISAPPOINTING AS IT GOES!
1 month of game pass is enough for you to fall out of love from this obvious cash grab.
It's quite subjective, I have also unlocked most things and I find the game much much better than expected.
I hate that if you have the dominator you lose access to your rig for a couple of rounds. You have no idea how many times I’ve accidentally used my dominator trying to press triangle on PS5 to use my rig instead.
Yeah that's a shame really it should have its own button
@@HDHaZmY no it shouldn't this is the punishment for holding onto it there designed to be used early you choose to hold it that should come with drawbacks... also on console there just isnt another free button for it every button is accounted for ....i do not understand your tip of wait for the enemy team to be fighting other boss dinos, after 60 games i have never seen a naturally spawned boss dino in the pvp rounds they only ever spawn in pve (both in dino culling and point defence) never in pvp game modes such as hammer ,domination, cell collection and payload
@@jayperkins2100 As I said, I mostly play PvE so the tip is also mostly for PvE
@@HDHaZmY maybe I heard wrong in the video bcus I thought you said you mostly play pvp but that does make more sence
@@jayperkins2100 It's fine, yeah in PvE using the dominator early is 100% loss basically as first wave is always easy and 3rd always has a boss
Wish the tank on the team would stop using the dominater.😢
Urgh I really dislike that japanese design philosophy where they hold the players hand for ages to introduce them; people learn at different speeds and catering solely for the slowest will annoy everyone else. *sigh*, hopefully its not as bad as Haz described
Ooh tho the ability to change exo suits mid shift is rather interesting though! Definitely adds a reactionary strategic element~
Forgive me for talking about Salmon run in an Exo video but that feature did give me an idea. Imagine if there was a seperate perminant mode in Salmon where you could choose which weapon you'd like depending on the wave coming up
I'd imagine it'd be similar to eggstra work but with zero weird competitiveness; first round starts at either the average hazard level of the group or EVP 40's hazard whichevers lower, then progressively gets harder. I'm thinking that each player picks 3 weapons at the start of the shift which creates a pool of 12 total weapons that everyone each round can choose between. Maybe only one person per weapon, maybe allowing dupes *shrug*
If two players choose the same weapon then a random one gets added to the pool
I would freaking adore that mode and I know a bunch of people who dont get into Salmon Run because they dislike the random weapon mechanic; a mode like this would massively help folks like that imo
Yeah that's a great idea actually!
Game pass
I wish this game had a true pve mode that doesn’t force you to go against another team. A lot of negative reviews is because there’s no real pve mode and that the game is live service model 🤦♂️.
Savage Gauntlets are releasing in 2 weeks for true PvE
Its not too bad, you just have to play one mission after the tutorial to be able to change it to PvE only
@@Rob-xw6po He's a saying a completely PVE mode, the one in game still has you playing versus another team
Not swapping suits. Ever. If it had been a requirement I wouldn't have bought the game. Sorry lol
make a tips and tricks guide then shoots a trike in the face in the firs min of the video .... do not shoot trikes in theyre armoured head people shoot them in they're body
You're entering a new niche, one which I am not a part of, so I think I may unsub, but I DO hope the best for you
I will still make Splatoon content but no worries - thank you for the support!
Not an airport you do not need to announce your departure…. People won’t be playing or talking about one thing only forever ya know..
Good to know there are other games modes... Why are such playing the same shit over and over and over again at the start???

Only complaint I have is I don’t like the visuals of the game
That's people who haven't got pass lvl 10. In all fairness you don't get the best part of the game till after lvl 50 and endgame
