I’m literally in love with this deck! So much information-I’ve never seen anything like this, and it has enough Egyptian-hybrid images to remind me of the infamous “Ms. Cleo” tarot. Have you ever seen the Cleo deck? Peace. ❤️❤️
I have it. As far I know Massimiliano Filadoro was the one who thought on the concept of this deck, so he worked with Davide Corsi in the artwork. Then they needed someone who writes about the tarot archetypes on a book, then they contacted Lunaea Weatherstone to work on that. The first edition of this deck didn't have the book, only a white pamphlet. The kit with the deck and the book were published later. I have the first edition without the book, and later I bought the kit with the book because I realized that the night side was quite difficult to understand without the book. The presentation card has not the name of Lunaea because it belongs to the deck itself, not to the kit. The idea of this deck appeared after the success of the publishing of the New Vision Tarot deck. If you read reverse, then you have 4 different meanings for each card. And yes, I read them in the 4 ways, this side, that side and reverse for both. It is difficult, but it is part of the learning of tarot, it is an intense study.
@@TheZenWitch Sometimes the explanations for the developing of the decks appear on Lo Scarabeo FB page, sometimes in their page in Instagram, sometimes in their own page, and other times on the pages of the artists that were working on the decks. I don't remember where exactly I found it...LOL, but yeah, normally they explain to their followers the path of each deck.
@@marciemckennatarot I like the page forever ago, but I never see anything in my feed. I guess I need to remember to visit periodically and like and comment so things will start showing up.
Before this unboxing, I’d never heard of this deck-interesting concept. I really like the additional perspective on the flip side, which added a layer. Although, on some of the cards it wasn’t as impactful...perhaps with those a wider shot would’ve revealed more.
Some of the imagery looks like a lot of thought has been put into it and some of the cards feel like they are rushed. Queen of cups (I believe) shows the back of her throne but there is nothing there to pick up on, no meaning, nothing to look out on. Not even the back of her head just a green chair. The world card looks like not a lot of thought was put into it. However, some of the major Archana and especially the minor show some amazing visa versa symbology looks amazing. The big question is how you draw without not seeing the cards? Close your eyes? Not a good choice.
I agree! Regarding the card draw, I have seen several readers holding the deck upside down and then drawing from the bottom. You pull it off the bottom and then lay it straight down without turning it over. I think that's the solution here.
The Way of the Wyrd - the reading at the end spoke to me on such a personal level. I need to "hook" into that hope. Thank you.
nice deck unboxing after my train is end i go to buy it because it also look like similler of raider waite

I haven't, but it sure brings back memories of the commercials!

Wow, thank you, Marcie! I did a couple of searches, but never found the full explanation.
