Thankyou very much for this, you have no idea how much this saved me, I was preparing for my interview today and I watched the lesson 1-3 in your video at 3 am at the morning. During the interview, all the questions they've asked me I was only able to answer because of this video, it taught me everything they are asking like, how to make a test cases, difference between severity and priority, what are the steps you should take in creating a test cases (fun thing that happened When I mentioned the very most important thing is the first step is to get the app better and get the requirements documentations for the application my interviewer smiled as if she was really agreeing with it!). I just want to thank you for this and Thank God for leading me to this videos that you made!!!
Wow, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that our video helped you prepare for your interview and that you were able to tackle the questions confidently. It's moments like these that truly highlight the impact and value of sharing knowledge online.
We're particularly glad to hear that the content covered in the video, such as creating test cases, understanding the difference between severity and priority, and emphasizing the importance of getting requirements documentation, resonated with your interviewer. I'm new in this YT chanel and I would like to know how to identify types of testing based on copy and design?
thanks for basic lesson! i’m also not the one who dont have a background on programming, but on sciences aeronautics. do you have a guideline to starting for this career path?
Wow, aeronautics sounds cool! :) Fast-track to start a career in IT would be to enroll in one of the IT Bootcamps out there. If you are self-learner you may want to check out free videos on UA-cam and learn as well.
Is this class manual or automation testing?
@@charityjohnson1005 Lesson 1 provides fundamentals of Manual Testing. Please watch Lesson 4-5 for Automation Testing.
Thank you!!
I am a QA intern and have not received my project yet. I thought that testing meant doing test cases. We're using Java, so I have been studying JUnits. Are we just testing the actual software?
Good luck with your internship! You will perform your testing in QA Environment.
Hi thanks for the lessons, so my question is, is it possible to get multiple jobs working as a manual Q&A software tester?
Hi! You can certainly try to land several let's say 2 jobs in Software Testing. Both needs to be remote, maybe in different time zones. Also, companies will ask you to disclose any outside business/employment activities you may have.
@@skillrill ok thanks for the information 🙏
Great Job!
we can hear u loud and clear
Thank you for confirming :)
Keep up the good work.
do you think this can be achieved with no it prior experience?
Yes, most people I know have started with no prior IT experience and now working as QA Professionals.
Yes, this was the same with me - until I found my first job! You've got this and I hope you are able to find something 🙌
🔥🔥🔥 thank you
excellent
Lovely ❤
At Q&A sessions part you should have written the questions on the screen
Good point! We will try to incorporate that in the future.
@@skillrill thanks, your content is very useful, keep up the good work :)
Wooow! Love the way you teach! Are you on Udemy?
Thank you, glad you found it useful! I'll take it as an advise to create a course on Udemy :)
I didn’t see a “pop up” window open when you were executing the test case
Hi! Please check out the latest version of this lesson which definitely displays the 'pop-up' window open when executing the test case :) ua-cam.com/video/ISWwr3pVTZc/v-deo.html
What do you think about JS + Cypress as automation?
Good question! Both Python + Selenium and JS + Cypress are likely to continue being popular choices for test automation in the future. The choice between the two will depend on the specific requirements of the testing projects, the skill sets of the testing teams. Python has been taking over Java's dominance in Test Automation industry, whereas Cypress still needs to grow :)
I am interested in learning some of the tools and software that are typically used - is there a good resource to start learning them or do you have a video? Thanks
Some of the highly in demand tools/skills these days are Jira, Git, Postman, Selenium, Python, SQL, Docker to name a few. You may certainly explore each of those independently. If you need guidance, our next batch of QA Tester Training Lessons start Sept 1, 2023. Good Luck!
@@skillrill thanks so much!!!
@@skillrillhow do I get your personal number sir
Hi! Thank you for your interest! You may direct message us on Telegram app: t.me/skillrill or text here: (347) 947 7788
Hi, I'm new to QA and don't have programming background What programming language you can recommend to start my Automation Journey.
Hi! I would suggest you learn Python and SQL. Both are highly in demand and transferable skills for majority of the open positions in QA Testing industry.
Is this field hard? I’m worried 😢
90% of people who have become QA Testers came from non-IT background (Uber drivers, nurses, teachers, cashiers, bank tellers, housewives to name a few). Is it easy to learn and become a QA Tester, no it's not. It is as challenging as achieving any other goal, requires hard-work, persistence and consistency during learning process, interview process and during 1st year of employment.
Nice
Thanks!

Do we need to learn programming/coding for this job?
Hi! In order to become QA ETL Tester you will learn to write SQL queries. Whereas to become an SDET/Automaton Tester, you will learn coding in Python.
@@skillrill I thought it is Java that is preferred mostly within this context. Is Python new trend now ?
Hi! Yes, QA Testing industry has been switching to Python since it is more efficient, more beginner friendly and at the same time more powerful language than Java.
is your bootcamp only for 2 months? I didn't see the pricing. Do you also help us with landing a job?

Hello, I have no computer skills what so ever. Do you suggest taking a basic computer class before starting the QA classes? Or is that unnecessary? Or what do you suggest I take before starting QA class?
Hi! Taking Computer 101 Classes are always helpful, but not required. Most QA Courses start from Computer Fundamentals.
Would a IT Help desk course be nice to start at.
