Thanks for stopping by! Took me 5 years from idea to completion (a lot due to procrastination). Big question: If/when I sell/move, should I tear all this down or try to market it as a comic book cellar?
There's a quote I remembered from T Harv Eker. He said, "How you do anything is how you do everything." Not only your collection is incredible but how organized, sophisticated, and well planned it is. I can just imagine how this way of doing things is applied to other areas of your life. I collect toys in my own little way but nowhere close to this level of detail. Bravo, man!
Thanks! I’m not sure about the best collection. I’ve seen some pretty insane ones with a lot of high grade keys that were purchased back in the day. These guys go for the best of the best. I’m good with my 5.0s 😁
Nicest comic collection I’ve seen on UA-cam so far. Slabs on the walls alone easily $500,000 to $600,000. And the most expensive comic in his entire collection, the Captain America Comics #1, probably a quarter million dollar book, just quickly glossed over at the end of a short box! Dude, buy a house with a proper basement to display this fucking brilliant collection!
Great job with the room makeover! What a perfect place to store your collectibles. No light, room temperature regulated...it’s like it was meant to be. I wish I had you DIY skills. 😆
Thanks! The idea popped into my head the moment I saw this wine cellar during our initial viewing of this house. My wife saw a place to put her 4 bottles of wine. I pictured something bigger. Looks like I won! 😁
Thank you brother! This was 1 of about 4 different big DIY projects (the others involving statues). Learned a little from my mistakes each time. By the end of #4, I’ll have it down. Lol
WOW! 🤯 This is how you collect! This is completely incredible! I am in awe. Well done sir. I want my collection to look like yours when I turn it over to my son. Absolutely incredible! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Please let me know when you’re taking on new pupils? One serious collection. I’m proud for you 😁 DOPE!
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Feel free to hit me up with any questions you may have. I’m no guru. Just a guy collecting things he loves for 35+ years.
I have a good portion of those from my dads collection, and it’s so cool to see all of these, I’d say about 20-30 of those he collected growing up and most are in really nice condition
Man!! That's awesome! I recognized those Namor issues. I had those. I dumped most of my comic collection and statues over to a friend and salvation army.
Nice collection and setup! One recommendation: put low value books at floor level and high up top. Flooding is a real thing. And low is closer to accidental kicking level. Most flooding is less then 1 foot deep and your cellar is likely in a basement... Also consider an electric water detector for that room.
Whoa, this is Outstanding... Well Done Sir... My wife would kill me if I spent that kind of money on those high grade comics... Though I was gifted by my grandfather a Marvel Family # 1 that is about a 9.0 - 9.2 if I got it pressed and cleaned I bet it could get a 9.6... I would love to build out a room like you have... Again, well done to you...
That is badass! I love those drawer boxes too. That's a smart idea. Will definitely need to make shelving like that for the statues I have. Looking at making a center stand for a 1:3 Guts Museum with the Manga books lined up and fit on the bottom of it. Awesome room and great idea!
Thanks! The Drawer Boxes were a lifesaver! I considered making wood drawers on tracks. But that would have taken forever and been very expensive. I also heard that some woods are not good for comic preservation. Decided to stick with good ol’ cardboard! 😁
@@DTsGEEKSHOW I feel you. Maybe a home gym is worth it for you. A good power rack, a stable bench, a few weights and a floor covering. With a small minibar or a chill area where you can display a Hulk. Wouldn't it be cool?
I just got to say I have. A huge collection of marvel Pops and some D.C. POPS AS WELL. THIS ROOM OF COMICS AND STATUES ARE BEAUTIFUL SIR.Much respect to you and what I do. As for the pops I recently got Galactus 10 inch with silver surfer I pray that one day you would do a video on some of the marvel and D.C. POPS THAT U MIGHT LIKE. Also that Red Hulk is Fire I Love looking at that everytime 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿. God bless
Definately gotta have a vision for your collection. Although, I just watched a “bad” movie and heard the line “when you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.”
Excellent conversion. Looks classy. I’m in the process as well converting my basement into one big collection museum type room by building my own sets of pedestals, with different heights and dimensions. I plan to have each one with a turntable on top, with a mixture of manual and electronic ones, depending on size of the statue. Question: where do you keep your XM Studios samurai pieces? I’m also collecting that line
I love the turntable idea. I’ve got the Samurai pieces in a Moducase. Plan to have a video or at least some pics of the display soon. Waiting for Joker.

Comic book/ wine cellar 🤣
Its the comic cellar
Definitely a comic book cellar, I'm sure loads of people would love that. I'm sure you won't leave the books for them though 😜
If you added up the prices of all of these, how much do you think the price will be?
procrastination is my second name

What a room. Turned out amazing!
Si
That is an amazing collection! I like how homeboy has multiple copies of key issues and first appearances and graded so high.
The collection is so big, I love what ur doing!!
Thanks. The statues have definitely spilled out into other areas of the house. I love that I can actually contain my comic books.
@@DTsGEEKSHOW my favorite of all your statues is the xm studios thanos I think the pose is awesome and the details are fantastic
@@kyles9646 That one is definitely a WINNER!
Probably the best private comic book collection in the USA. Excellent job transforming the wine cellar!

I’ve never seen such a well preserved action comic #1!
This one came in a very protective Loot Crate box! 😁
It just never ended with amazing amazement. Super amazingly fantastic to be ballin!!!
Your collection is fantastic. Love that someone who appreciates collecting has this.
