I actually felt like, in this archon quest, aether is being very expressive. I have never seen his facial expressioin change that much, for example when he got out of the ode of ressurection and run to hug paimon or when he was going for the final blow with the maviuka. It was refreshing.
I mean its about dang time the traveler treated like an actual hero not just some "witness" especially in natlan where our action actually had an effect to the country

I don't care what anyone says. 5.3 archon quest gave me a satisfying conclusion. Aether/Lumine recognized as a hero (and a damn good name too), we get the pyro traveller now, the war ending, some answers from Mavuika and more questions to ponder for future patches, and the goddamn Captain. Salute to the man who endured 500 years of holding the spirits to give them a proper place to rest, challenging the shade of death and their principles/rules, actually sacrificed himself to save the Night Kingdom and Mavuika, his body or husk still there but his soul can now rest in peace. My respect for the captain increased tenfold and now, Genshin's version of Himeko escaped her fate. Salute to all fallen warriors and heroes. Sure there are still some criticism here and there but the conclusion is satisfying enough for me and I enjoyed every moment of the archon quest.

I mean, she didn't say she'll take back the rule that said "The pyro Archon must dies to fulfill the contract". She only said "the curse of immortality must stand". If she allowed the paradox to occur, that means the paradox is literally Capitano being both dead and alive right?
No she doesn't allow the paradox to happen. She upholds the curse of immortality, doesn't kill the archon but let's Capitano take her place which then ends up transferring the curse to the Lord of the Night when he merges with her. His soul (and all the souls he held with him) now rests in the night kingdom while the Lord of the Night is now immortal so no more sacrifices
The build up to the traveler in this fight is literally perfect. If only his kit reflected that well outside of this fight. Like if he were a tier one unit that would be unbelievably great
Wow. Just wow - I loved this Archon Quest so much. With this quest, Natlan has easily become my favourite one so far, beating Fontaine. Fontaine was amazing, but Natlan is something else. Absolutely beautiful. That moment between Traveler and Paimon just made me bawl, it was so wholesome and god damnit, it hit differently, especially with the context that technically speaking, they only have each other - I mean, no one else travels with them. And Capitano, salute to you. I absolutely loved Natlan and look forward to what comes next. (I'll also say, I absolutely HATE the community and its entitlement. 'we didn't get the story we wanted so it's garbage' get in the bin - you're a human trash bag and don't deserve to play and experience this game's magic.)

Well what did you expect? Some grand death. It was a deal he made with the god of death as revenge. He went towards his death with open hands and calm mind. His ending is akin to the third brother of the deathly hallows. He was fighting against death and actually went peacefully. Same thing here. Captain wanted death and to free his men and victims of natlan and he achieved it and his own death too so win-win.
The quest to be honest was ok. Crazy to call it perfection since the lack of VA’s hurt the story a lot. Also some inconsistencies with things made no sense, but it was still decent. Not as good as fountain, but better than sumeru.

I wasn't upset about Capitano's death, I just thought it was too quick. A 5 minute cutscene and boom, he died.
Well what did you expect? Some grand death. It was a deal he made with the god of death as revenge. He went towards his death with open hands and calm mind.
His ending is akin to the third brother of the deathly hallows. He was fighting against death and actually went peacefully. Same thing here. Captain wanted death and to free his men and victims of natlan and he achieved it and his own death too so win-win.
The quest to be honest was ok. Crazy to call it perfection since the lack of VA’s hurt the story a lot. Also some inconsistencies with things made no sense, but it was still decent.
Not as good as fountain, but better than sumeru.

Capitano is not death, his soul is alive but he lost his body. I don't think he will be playable but he can return in the futur.
