Mine jumped around a lot as well. Biggest thing was completing all the steps in the app that you can. Once you get a text about a trade in you know you’re a couple weeks away.
You won’t be disappointed with the 7 seater. There used to be many delays with people putting holds and taking them off but Tesla has improved their policies on this. Hopefully it means on time or sooner.
Thanks for the review! Very helpful! I have a model Y 5 seater on order. Could you please tell me more about the tow hitch? Have you tried it with a bike rack? Would be great to learn how it impacts range and if you have a best practice using the tesla superchargers. Thank you
Congrats on your order. I’m looking at the Tesla bike rack which appears to be a branded Thule so will definitely throw a video up about it including range and functionality.
I ordered a MY LR 7 seater October 2021 still waiting, it got pushed 4 times, now my EDD is June 13th to july 18th. Sold my vehicle in December of 2021 thinking I'd get the MY in February of 2022. LOL. Sooo wrong!
Wait times for MY have continued to go longer with increasing demand. I had high hopes for Giga Texas to make a dent but they opted to make a lower range car with their 4680 batteries which is also very disappointing. It is ironic that while they exhibit total lack of transparency and poor PR are also now in charge of twitter!
So far the 4680 advantages seem to be solely in manufacturing as any cost savings have not been passed onto customers. This will change eventually and benefits should come with increased charging rates and longer range but it certainly won’t be overnight as many seemed to think (myself included at one point).
Today at $63K + taxes and delivery with no other options, I can drive my fully paid for 30mpg SUV for 5+ years (no maint or repair) for less than the Tesla LR MY price increases since Jan 2021.
I made a model y 7 seater order last week. Currentl delivery window is November 2022 to February 2023
Congrats on your order!
Don’t despair, I ordered mine in Canada in late march and I will get it tomorrow
Well done review 👍🏻
Got one on order since November. Date was originally July. Keeps bouncing around but now sometime in June. Who knows.

Thank you for showing the 7 seaters. My LR 7 seats MY estimated date is 5/8-5/22. Hopefully won’t get delayed.

How about the tow hitch ? Towing capability with the 7 seat would be interesting to know
We had an Rpod camper that would have been fun to tow. Probably bikes and a utility trailer for this year but if we tow I’ll give a review.
