Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing this video I recently bought one of these pools myself and I was worried about the pump too. But after setting it up the pump seems to be doing very well and it is a pretty decent size. I just have one question though, how much pools shock do you put in your pool? I am still trying to figure that out with converting the measurements for the size of the pool.
Omg I am just seeing these comments a few years later. I’m not very active on UA-cam. Well better late than never. I would buy small bags of pool shock that I would mix in water. Usually just one bag. I would mix it in a bucket and pour it in. I hope everything worked out for you!
Hi. The pump came with the pool. The third summer I had the pool it the hoses sprung a leak. I ordered the blue pump hoses on Amazon that year. Hope that helps.
Hi Ashley. I’m not an affiliate. Just a dad who put a pool. Lol. We loved it. It lasted three summers. I put it in large plastic containers in winter in my garage. Each year I would have a few leaks setting it back up. They were really easy to fix with pool leak kits found at hardware stores or online. The third summer I bought stringer plastic hoses on Amazon. I did not put it up this year. My kids prefer my Inlaws pool. But I may buy a larger one in the future. I highly recommend this pool as a starter pool. Definitely use the cover at night when not using it. Keeps a lot of debris out. Only thing I would do differently would be to have bought a solar cover. My I laws use one and it keeps the water warm and most of the bugs/ debris from trees out. Good luck and happy swimming!
Yeah it was off level a few inches. I put down dirt but not enough. I didn’t run into any problems. Just one end being a little deeper. And my boys put it to the test. Jumping in and such. It’s sturdy. I’m hoping to get the ground more level this summer. But I’m not worried. Hope that helps. 🙂
Hi Jerrica. No it stays on. So you can let it run all the time or unplug it periodically. When I first got the pool, I would unplug it at night. But then I would let it go all the time. There was not much of a price difference between the electric bills. But I have only had it 1 summer. This will be our second summer with it. I'll make another video at the end of the summer to see how it holds up. Thanks for the question! I hope that helped.
@@krystalkeller9045 huh. I’m interesting. Mine stays on. But perhaps I have a different model. I’m hoping it still works this summer. We shall see. Lol
On my pump it has a air thing on top whats that? I got bestaway 10ft so not quite as big as yours. Yours looks great. Wondering what i have to do with that thing on top of pump? Do you have to release air or something and how often?
Hi there! It took a little less then 24 hours to fill from our hose. I started it at 4pm and let it go all night. It was ready for my kids to swim when they got home from school. 🙂
Hello. Thanks for the comment. Honestly the pump worked great all summer. I’m going to use it again this summer. But I’ll see how it does and update if anything changes. Thank you.

Quick question, I'm working on a project and was wondering if I could use 20 seconds of this video? Would that be okay? Let me know thanks!
Looks over 2 inches off level. Have you had any problems with it not being completley level?

When you plug it in does it power off
