The shaun the sheep movie is the best example of how you can make a masterpiece with 0 dialogue
And oggy and the cockroaches
@@mvpgigasimpakaHoltzmen bro no movie made me cry more than shaun the sheep and it had no dialogue
Wall-E is also another perfect example
@@breinded6565 that movie has some dialouge shaun the sheep has completely 0
Yes
George Miller makes a good point. Action movies, like any genre, thrive on visual storytelling. If the same information is covered through visuals the audience can only benefit.
Good. Mad max series has never had much dialogue, and they all are great. Road Warrior max says less than 60 words the whole movie and it is considered one of the best action films of all time.
I guess this movie is gonna give 2001 a space odysssey vibes, that movie also had very little dialogue
I swear I got a furiousa ad right when I watched this video
Lads its A mad max movie what were you expecting ?Shakespeare?Sorkin?Shar rukh khan?
Exactly, this moron has never seen a Mad Max movie.
The amount of times they say “Fuirosa”in the trailer annoyed the shit out of me. Also though I do like Anna Taylor Joy I do think she’s in too much and I don’t like watching every movie an actor is in at the same time
she is still a great actress
@@tarzantabi7845 True
She's not in all that much, though. And she's def not in a lot of big mainstream stuff.
Even though the Mad Max movies don't have much dialogue, they still have a lot of memorable/quotable lines.
"The Ayatollah of Rocknrolla!"
"Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror."
"Who run Bartertown?"
"Two men enter, one man leaves!"
"Witness me!"
"Do not, my friends, become addicted to water!"
As the old adage goes, Silence is Golden.
The new mad max moive was filmed 20 minutes away from my town

(Oil up I'm there in 5)
They don’t hate scripts, they just hate bad writing. A lot of movies that rely heavily on expositions often don’t deliver well in the story category. A lot of meanings and emotions can be conveyed through visual storytelling, and even more effectively that way.
Now, we have the best director now
The golden standard for me will always be No One Will Save You. Which was a 93 minute movie where Kaitlyn Dever spoke one line of dialogue which was three words long. That will not be topped. Ya know unless you’re an Aardman film.
wait till they find out about Charlie Chaplin films
Fury Road had a script. There's been a rumor for a long time that Miller storyboarded instead of writing. He did storyboard everything but it was after he finalized the script.
holdup, Dune Part 1 and Part 2 are NOT action movies…
they are still fiction movies (which I think was the point the video was trying to make) and one of the biggest reasons why everybody loved those so much was because of how technically brilliant they are (at least to me)
@@tarzantabi7845 you are right but pretty much every movie is fiction. Furthermore, Dune had a bunch of dialogue, especially the first one. I think this whole lack of dialogue related to a certain type of movie is all over the place. I think some great movies don't need the dialogue, but trashing them and saying that a specific kind of movies doesn't need them is weird.
Don't think I got my point across, this whole dialogue conversation is weird
There’s action in them…
Dune 2 is definitely one
@@volkovedits There was only a total of around 23 minutes of “action” in Dune Part 2. Heck the last battle only lasted 5 minutes. If Dune Part 2 was an action movie, every super hero movie, Star Wars movie, and war movies would be classified as “action movies”. Dune was a Si-fi movie, choosing to focus on themes of power, control and many others. The point isn’t to discredit dune, it’s to say that it’s classified in the wrong genre. John Wick Chapter 4, and MadMax Fury Road has wayyyy more action shown in the runtime of their respective movies.
I'm glad the audience loved this movie.
It had a poor response when the trailer was released now it's highly recommended.
George Millers never disappoints with Mad Max Saga. Mad Max Furiosa is another great addition to the club of best movies of 2024 that includes Dune sequel, planet of the Apes and Godzilla Minus One.
Because people who criticized it never watched or forgot Fury Road. That movie was not about Max yet they keep saying Max is the best thing
I'm Australian so I'll meatride this movie with my life
The same happened in Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire movie.
There was a section where Kong meet the other apes and the interraction took around 20 minutes of screen time with no dialogues and expositions, it's just the apes interracting with their languages or even not talking at all. Just looking at their body languages, you understand what's going on. And then, Rebecca Hall's character ruin it with history mumbo jumbo. I was enjoying the scene the entire time, I ain't no time to hear expositions! Also, this is a movie about giant glowing lizard and giant gorrila with axe and Thanos' glove minus Infinity Stones, who cares of dumbpositions?
Maybe George is a cult follower of Lisan al-Gaib's Denis Villeneuve, lol!
What?
How do you have so many sub yet you have very few views ! Bro needs to step up his game 😂
I’m mainly a YT Shorts channel, I get all my views from shorts, almost never from videos. I just make the videos for fun, but I’m still trying to make the video portion of my channel grow.
Remember back in the day when movies had no dialogue whatsoever? Silent films should make a comeback.
Isn’t that back when minorities had no rights?
@@sgtroach1510Bro what does that have to do with anything? 💀
The lead actress only has 3 lines 💀 what is she gonna do when she’s on screen
Act.
@@doc8013 yeah she can act but how is she going to emote without words how is supposed to feel unique and not like damn doomguy a silent badass that’s a cool character but that type of character is everywhere now
@@ineedit1772 You don't emote through dialogue, you do it through your face and eyes. That's what good actors do. You don't need to have a line of dialogue a minute to be interesting. Hardy had close to the same number of lines in Fury Road.
@@doc8013 but wouldn’t that just make her feel like a clone of hardy character wise
- cool badass who doesn’t talk
- revenge quest
@@ineedit1772 I don't know why, it isn't some super crazy thing that's unique to the last two films. The entire Mad Max franchise has had very little dialogue in it. It's an action movie. A very, VERY heavy action movie. It isn't Shakespeare. That's the greatness of Miller, he knows how to do visual storytelling. One of the truest and most important rules in filmmaking is: Show, don't tell.

I think directors should not write the movies.
Why?
More often than not the best movies are written by the directors. All of Scorseses movies are his writing. Many of Spielbergs are his, many many many of the best films were written by their directors.
@@sullivandmitry1416 I think most of Marty's movies have been written by someone else. I know he's had a hand in writing a lot of them but he hasn't been his main writer over the years. Same thing with Spielberg, he hasn't written all that much. Tarantino and Nolan are better examples as some big name directors always writing their scripts but tons and tons of great directors write everything they direct.
