i always keep coming back to this album when i want to hear technical djent metal Why? ill tell you why first of all the mother album is a masterpiece the art work is amazing on so many different levels not only that the purple colors and the floating lady that looks like she could be the final boss not only that but to mention the fact that every song is unique and made to perfection with each riff and melody and chugging awesome low tuned guitar riff and amazing drums and bass and vocals mixed to the highest capacity this album is like taking a trip into the Galaxy and Experiencing a magical place that only can be visited through this album.
Demon Hunter also has recently released a track called The Brink, which has a awesome 80's video game inspired sheppard tone.. works out great on that track too, check it out

I tried to learn a Veil of Maya song on guitar one time. Then I tried on to learn it on drums because it was too hard on guitar. Then I tried to learn it on bass because guitar and drums were too hard. Then i tried to kill myself. Can't even do that right. Thanks VOM for making life hard.
