Those two triggered people freaking out at the image of Gretta is just wild. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars to see Bjork and yet hating environmentalism so much
It was pretty wild and dumb and disappointing that that happened. Was there that night. Lots of drunk women going up and down the aisles every five minutes. One nearly stumbled into my boyfriend's seat. Björk and the choir was phenomenal. The audience sucked however.

This was the most amazing concert I’ve ever been to! The visuals, sound, performers, all of the technology, the intimacy I felt from bjork was just incredible. I was brought to tears so many times. She has definitely raised the bar for concerts and the performing arts in general.

Shocked to hear Notget was the final song. However, it turned out extremely empowering. Instead of the plead from Vulnicura, it was a promise that love triumphs. I hope we’ll get the Utopia live. This is so beautiful.

I agree. It's sad and telling how much people like that desperately need attention. Shouting at a projection, at a pre-recording - That is fairly unstable and needy behaviour.

@@Nympholita I didn't watch any of this video, I've already seen the performance in person. Video footage doesn't come close to the real thing, wouldn't be fun to watch this again in downgraded quality. It came up in some search results. went straight to the comments section out of curiosity to see if anyone else had a similar experience, because I was wondering if anyone else felt that the audience was kind of disrespectful that night, especially during Greta's speech. I remember security telling one lady to put her phone away respecfully because she had it out throughout the whole concert and the light from it was bright and distracting, and the woman pretty much barked at the security person to fuck off. There was one couple that mistakenly assumed me and my boyfriend's seats were theirs and i heard the wife say to her husband "that redheaded thing (referring to me) is sitting in our chair" before realizing where their seats actually were. Didn't appreciate being called a "thing" by some random boomer lady. People felt kinda rude overall. Björk was phenomenal but the audience was fully of rowdy, drunk people. Didn't know how to feel about that part of it.
LOL people weren't supposed to have their phones out. She specifically requested that because it's distracting as fuck to her but people don't care. They'd rather watch the entire performance through shitty, trembling camera phone footage instead of living in the moment.
Of course the live experience is much better, but the tickets to Cornucopia were SUPER expensive, and that's the only way some of her fans can watch the concert.

@@hisnameisisa I mean that Arca has been heavily involved in the musical direction of Vulnicura and Utopia and I haven't particularly enjoyed the results except for a handful of songs. I remain a big fan of Bjork.
Usually if not almost always as a music artist gains popularity their music becomes more accessible. More pop. Bjork worked hard to make brilliant accessible pop music without losing the integrity of the artistry of her music. Her work in pop music gabe her the power to have control over her music instead of a record label pressuring her to produce more pop music. She’s done the pop thing (been there done that) and has moved onto more challenging to the listener avant-garde music. If you want her pop music there’s a large catalog to enjoy and if you want to dig deeper into more challenging music she makes now you can do that as well. An artist like her would likely get bored trying to produce hits record after record and quit. I think she continues to make music because she earned the ability to make the art she wants to make.
Actually I'm the oposite. As I really enjoy progressive rock and avant-garde music, and world music as well (Something like Dead Can Dance or the last two Talk Talk albums or Nick Cave's "Skeleton Tree" as just a few of my favourites) I really fell in love with the foresty, icelandic nature imagery and fairy-like sound of those two albums. However, I can understand your point. Despite loving it, it also took me some time to get into it, while, say, her Debut album clicked very fast.......But I love that she really seems to enjoy this more tribal music right now, you can hear how she screams and shouts joyfully in some of those tunes. Since it is more or less clear that this year will be the year of a new album of hers being released I am genuinely interested and hyped. I mean, if Utopia was (at least for me) her best album I just can't imagine how the next album will be. Even more experimental? More conventional? At least I know it'll be great.
