I.e. avoid Bournemouth defenders due to their next 5 fixtures, or avoid Wissa because they play Arsenal, man city and Liverpool, etc. would be nice to know who to avoid along with who to try to pickup

Is there any downside to putting in loads of waivers every week? Like if one of your players is injured and you have put in five different waiver for that player in case your first option gets picked up by someone else?
Really interesting that you find yourself playing 3 defenders most weeks. I find that my strikers are pretty much locked in all year so I prioritise that position, followed by midfielders in the draft. Defence then becomes one of two locked in players and 3-4 waivered in every game week That then means, that the waivered in players are almost always great choices to start. This week for example in a ten team draft I have Darwin, Nkunku, and Neto on the bench and a back 5 with Virgil (locked) and then flexible spots currently filled with Tarkowski, Burn, Ajer and Munoz. Next week it'll be likely a different 4 defenders rotated in but almost certainly a back five. It feels like I will always have 3 midfielders/Forwards with either a HORRIBLE fixture (Chelsea this week) or an injured ot unfit player (Darwin this week). How are you getting around that?
What would you give preference to, a defender with a good fixture or a like a gamble player in midfield or up front that you feel could be coming into his team?
@snakedraftfpl there are some players such as Gakpo and Johnson that are rotation risk but feels “too good to drop in waiver”. Are they worth holding? When is it the right time to drop them given that nobody in waiver really stands out?
Should I trade walker and smith rowe to get ben white and bailey? I currently have stones walker guehi munoz, saka, nkunku , gibbs white, johnson, smithe rowe.
Is it really a good idea to play draft like that? In a 8-10 person league and putting so much focus on the next 1-2 fixtures only? Surly with how competitive those leagues are you’d be better off leaving those players on your bench and have a good rotation already in place. Rather than waiver out a player for the sake of 1-2 fixtures and someone else waiver that player in as they have a good 4-5 fixtures after that?
For example I have Gibbs-White in my team because about 7 of his first 10 games are good, and then after that I’ll look at a Brighton option as they have a tough start but then gameweek 10-20 looks pretty easy for them then
Honestly the more competitive the league then the more useful this strategy is. Often in really tough ten man leagues the medium-long term holds aren’t available, meaning 4/5th defenders, 3rd forwards and 5th mids are almost always short term punts
@@snakedraftfplplaying a 12 man league this year Since forwards are rare, What if I Isak, Watkins, Solanke, Havertz, Darwin, Gakpo are picked and I’m left with the option of Toney. What Would you recommend? I’d like to focus on a premium forward first in the early rounds
@@goonernation4500 - Our draft day was on Saturday gone, I was pick 12 of a 14 man league. I took Toney over both Gakpo and Darwin. Only time will tell how that decision will pan out.

They’re definitely worth holding, especially early on when we don’t really know much

I think he'll probably stay, but I'd hold off making any decisions for the time being.
