I think gameweek 12 wildcard seems logical to me as city has a bad run of fixtures with spurs, Liverpool, palace, united and villa as 5 of the 6 games. From gameweek 12 arsenal has good fixtures so it maybe time to triple up on them. bournemouth has good fixtures so maybe get solanke. Brighton has a good run too so get joao pedro and dunk at that time. Liverpool also don't have great fixtures till GW17 leaving Southampton and fulham. palace, fulham and everton have bad fixtures so we can hop off players like robinson, mykolenko and Anderson. Wolves have good fixtures and if ait nouri is as much of a goal threat as he was last season so we can get him at that point.

One of the things to consider with the new rules is that it might be more beneficial to play a wildcard rather than use saved transfers, because using a wildcard doesn’t burn your saved transfers. So you can play your wildcard chip to help you accumulate those transfers so that those mini wildcards are available for the future rather than doing a mini wildcard using your transfers in order to save your wildcard chip for later. I don’t think I’m explaining myself very well but my point is it may be more beneficial to play the wildcard to help you save up transfers rather than spend transfers to save the wildcard
A possible time to use your WC is after the first few weeks when the transfer window is closed and you have seen enough to know things like who is Slot's favored line up. A lot of players WC in an international break and doing the same means you can improve team value / get the hot players before they get too expensive. GW4 does seem a bit early to be sure of the way teams are playing but leaving it untl GW8 might have seen most of the price movements. If you are looking for a fixture reversal I think around GW12 is best. Liverpool's good early fixtures comes to an end and if you have any Everton or Fulham assets you might want t o get rid of them, on the other side Arsenal's fixtures make a turn for the better and you might want to bring in a player from Brighton or Solanke for their good fixtures..
A blank Gameweek is where a team doesn’t have a game in an FPL Gameweek And then a double is when they have two! This will likely be caused by the fa cup semis and carabao cup final - teams that get to those will blank and subsequently double in another week
