Denmark? Dude. Do you work for Lego? Lol
Anyway, I use the DSM Humboldt SimplifierX. First off, it's extremely easy to use, everything is analog, and it fits nice on my pedalboard. Secondly, it has an insane amount of options (allows separate amp/cab sims left and right like the ACS-1), and allows me to have multiple stereo setup options with parallel FX loops. Most importantly though, it sounds great with headphones, which my neighbors and sleeping kiddos appreciate. There's really a lot more going on, but those are all just my favorites. I haven't found any cons yet.
Haha! No I wish I worked for Lego. #personalgoal
I’ve heard amazing things about the DSM and really should give it a go! Thanks for the recommendation and for listening!
I love amp talk! My first was a Crate GT80 DSP (with reverse delay!), but very fast I was able to buy a rack with a Marshall JMP-1 and a rackmount Engl amp, which I still have and still love. Through our singer I tested guitars and amps that I otherwise wouldn't be able to play, like Soldano, Rivera, Mesa, all that stuff. Right now I have a hybrid rig where I use all my preamps through Two Notes gear going into my effects pedals. Other than you two I gravitate towards Marshall style amps. I had a very early Zoom amp sim that gave me a ridiculously good clean sound. But it's long broken now.
I’ve never done any rack amo stuff but it’s super interesting to me! Thanks for sharing!
I also realized after we recorded that Paul and I are so similar in our sound and only discussed that clean Fender/Vox amp tone and didn’t talk about any of the other ones out there! Marshall to Mesa and so many more amazing amps!
@@thepedalcollaborative There is an obscene amount of amp choices out there. Although I have everything I need after I recently bought a Soldano SP77, I discovered that it only really needs two or three really good sounds to do everything. And a lot of it are the speakers. I have two or three really simple presets in my Torpedo CAB abd don't really need much more.
@TheOligoclonalBand so many to choose from!!!
