I believe the real guns can be replaced with paint gun and bullet. The soldiers can be divided into; the occupiers and the invaders on opposing sides. Each having his own captain and objectives. Then dey are set into combat. Soldier with paint ball shots colors at dangerous point will fall (drop down and move out of the tournament as fallen heroes). Each team can square up. This will teach soldiers how best to approach with maximal safety and horn their shooting skills

Real Guns cannot be replaced by paint guns, you want your army men to have a real life experience in training, they need to hear and feel what a real gun sound like before entering the battle field
