I am looking to acquire a Rio grande wheel . Wondering if a great wheel can be converted.

Thank you. I enjoyed your demo. I'm guessing you were using rabbit mohair, and not goat. But, I didn't think that either mohair fiber would be curly.

It's mohair from the Angora goat The Angora rabbit produces soft downy cashmere-like fiber (see last demo of the day.) You can learn a little bit more about mohair in the video description. taoswoolfestival.squarespace.com/demonstrations/

@@cintiapollock2486 I have some mohair to spin that has very long staple and is as straight as it can be. I'm having trouble spinning it because of it's length. When I done with my easy stuff, I'll tackle the hard stuff.

What type of core yarn did you use for the mohair tail spun yarn. Thanks

Copied from he FB page (I think you say it over there;) "My own hand spun thin wool singles, spun up from whatever roving/sliver i have around that matches the color and/or texture of what i want to spin. I don't recollect exactly which wool core i used for the demo spin... and a magpie flew off with the ball shortly after the vid shoot, so i can't find out!” --Lisa
