We got our bathroom remodeled with Bathfitter and I am sharing all the details. The whole install process only took one day, but we also had a consult. I will share all the details, why we decided to work with Bathfitter and how much it cost us. If you are considering getting your bathroom remodeled, check out this video.

I’ve had bath fitter in my house for 19 years and I love it. Works great for be playing football and being a mechanic I’m always dirty and it’s super easy to keep clean. They’ve been out one time to redo the caulking cause it got yellow and they were super helpful on the phone and it only took them about 30 minutes to cut out and redo the caulking. If anyone is on the fence get a consult and I’m sure you’ll be impressed
Ours is seeming easy to clean also! Glad to know they last!
@@laina-brown Our biggest concern was to make shure we got the Curved Shower Rod, and had ample hot water comming from the h20 tank that scooter was ready willing and able to fix the Noise hehe Lol glad you like your new plastic surround, and the curved shower rod is Guaranteed for life with a transferable warranty Have a blessed day!
Thanks for this helpful video. I was quoted today (2023 in NY State)$9700 for a bathtub/shower upgrade. We're keeping the original porcelain tub and getting the acrylic film to whiten it, plus sliding glass doors and safety grip bar. I negotiated a $1500 discount (they gave me a standard home show discount), so total is now $8200. Key thing to remember: if you do the 0% financing option, then you lose the $1500 discount.
That is way too much for a liner, that is full replacement cost. FYI, I know its too late, but that is the the of pricing you get when you work with a national brand, sales focused, not product and customer service focused.
Wow!!! In 6 hours... All that! That's incredible!! Totally considering doing this.
Definitely so cool! And kind of mind blowing.
This was wonderful news thank you I saw this 9 months after you posted it I am trying to redo a shower cuz I'm a senior citizen and I was nervous about the price now I know with covid things have gotten higher but all I'm looking for is to redo the floor and make it lower cuz it's too high for me and put new doors on it you gave me hope thank you so much for this wonderful informative explicit video thank you so much
Glad to hear it was helpful! I just made another bath fitter's video on our 2nd one we just got done!
This 1 day shower replacement companies make a boat load of profit. For 10k I can remodel your shower completely in granite or marble and high end finishes and still make money
That's a really good insight. I think part of the allure is that they can do it in 1 day.
@@laina-brown yeah well it’s going to take me 2 to maximum 3 days but you won’t have plastic on your walls. And in that price I can rent you a hotel room near by so you can use the shower for 3 days. And still make money.
They told me $9,000. I threw him out of the house. I chose the cheapest. Picked the same thing you guys got. I couldn't believe this guy. Say NO to BathFitters
I just got a $9000 quote for shower only. That’s CRAZY.
🤣🤣🤣💀
It may depend on where you live. I had mostly the same work done with around the same price, alittle more .. in NY.
"Simple and Easy to Clean"... You are speaking my language! I think your bathtub looks great! Are you still happy with it, and would you use this company again?
Thanks. I appreciate the honest review.
Our installer will be here this Monday (July 22nd/2024). We are having the tub to walk in shower conversion. We’re nearing 60 yrs old and I have had several joint replacements, the latest being a hip that I’m still recovering from. Our tub is 24” high off t 10:18 he ground! That’s because this half of our home is on a concrete slab, meaning the plumbing is directly underneath the bathtub, rather than in a basement under typical flooring as it is in many homes. Our new shower base will be a 6” high base but with our plumbing situation, it’ll end up somewhere in the vicinity of 8-10 inch’s high in the end. Thats no problem. We’re also having the ceiling area done too. Our rep has been a great guy, young, professional, very polite with a great demeanor, easy to get along with. The woman that handles scheduling etc has also been great each time we’ve spoken on the phone, the same way! Shes also told me our installer (Jesse), is awesome and her favorite. All I know is this is the home we will live out the rest of our years in and it’s time to think about safety. I’m praying all goes as well as we’re hoping it will and I’m very excited to see the finished result! I’ll come back to update you for sure!👍
That sounds like it will be great. So excited for you!
So happy with the remodel!
@laina-brown, how was it after 2 years? And how much did it cost you? Thank you.
Ty! Are you still liking it?
How do you clean it??
Yes I would consider this thank u
We love ours!
Are you still happy with your bath fitter install?
Yes, it is holding up really well. It has a warranty on it, so if anything goes wrong, they will come right out and fix it.
Such an improvement!
Yes! So nice and clean!
Love the new shower!
The fast food of remodeling.
It’s basically cosmetic for the most part. But for some it works.
My shower replacement costs me 21 thousand dollars. You got it cheap.
May I ask who did yours for that price?! That’s the cost of an entire bathroom remodel, wow!!!!! We initially called Jacuzzi Bath but they don’t even work in our state. They are probably sky high in price??
@@audnbob1 re-bath was the company. It will take them one day.
Sounds like a good experience :)
We are very happy!
$9k for 2 guys, 1 day and cheap plastic walls, $1500 in cost on the high side. Seems excessive.
Helpful video!
My life as a contractor, manufacturing, sales and installations/production. I installed "liners" for a while, couple years, but the service is brutal when they fail. I would not gamble with a liner. Some last, but many, many, many fail. The drain and seal between the layers is dependent on a silicone seal from a caulking gun. When it fails, and it does, it is a monster project to make the repairs.
