The sad part is anyone of us can end up in prison either for something or for nothing and we'd all be treated like convicted criminals for the entire period in prison. This scares me.

I experienced that when I was in prison for a week as was reminded for the GBH case and it felt like 50 years, and for those 7 days I spent 3 off in hospital, I don't think I will ever go back there again. If some one try to fight with me I walk away.
I remember when I was 12, my primary school took us on a school trip to suncity prison. We visited both the male and female section. I was so scared. Petrified!!! I will never forget my experience there. And the sad part is that the school only did the school excursion with our grade and never again because we all went home and cried to our parents.😂😅 heh!!!

You can literally feel that you are in a BAD place as soon as you arrive there. I did all the squatting he speaks about, we were treated like animals, and we were just visiting. The prison is a literal maze, you'll think you're somewhere on the ground level next thing you're actually below and outside. And Yes, they do rape and sodomize. On the day we arrived for the school trip they let us know that about two days before, a man was gang raped by 12 men in that very cell we sat in. All the beds in the cell had the same grey and brown blanket and mattress, except one right at the back of the cell, they called it China. It had nice pillows and blankets. That's where they do the do. I WILL NEVER GO BACK
