I was volunteered to do "Toys for Tots "in the Marines. At first, I thought it was a joke because it took up my weekend. But it wasn't. That really opened my eyes. Just seeing them little smiles and all the hugs really made the sun shine extremely bright that day. Those faces are embedded in my mind like pictures. Grown ups see the bad in places like that. But children find the good in them. We could learn a lot from children if we just open our eyes. After that, I started volunteering to go work on orphanages during the weekends . You should see them kids cheer when we pulled up. It was party time cause we had fun. Cooking and building things for the kids to play on. They even help us.
Kuya has a huge heart of gold !💝 Those are some happy kids , generosity is of God may God bless the Philippines and those who seek to do his will and work.
Thank you so much for feeding the often neglected dogs. They give so much and ask so little. It probably was the best meal of their lives. And the children too!

Very amusing near the end. It's fun to watch the kids enjoying but the dogs steal the show. The look of astonishment on their furry faces is priceless. Having been to the rural areas around Laoag the dogs show the same behavior. I've seen dogs gorge themselves till they can't eat another bite and then fill their mouths with food for take-out. Good job buddy. Made me laugh.
