In this video, our guest speaker will talk about the working of their Turtle Quants laboratory, which will help you to understand certain topics. The two major topics discussed will be Quants momentum and Relative Strenght. This will have several subtopics that are essential for our learners to know such as market cap segments when to exit, and identifying solid performers with few others.
They will also explain how to build a setup on Relative Strength, which is a query for several traders and our experts will make it easy for you with only 3 steps. It has the relative strength setup scorecard, which has the weekly vs daily time frame and it is tested on 400 plus stocks.

One question in your Indicator W52 is by default the Comparison has to be Nifty 50. What I mean is say for instance I am analysing RS of a Midcap Company then do I need to change the Compartive Value as Nifty Midcap or by default Option Nifty 50 is fine
You should always change comparative value by whatever index you want to compare 👍
If you want compare with midcap stocks then chage comparative value to midcap index 👍

very interesting video. one small query is ... Mr Sai said that he prefers RS between 0 and 0.50 to enter the trade .. whether this is on Daily chart or Weekly chart ?? Because I always prefer weekly chart. ... Will appreciate your reply... Thank you

What I have understood on watching the video is.
FOR BUY
1. RS 52 Period should be between 0 & 0.5
2. RS 13 Period should also be between 0 & 0.5
3. RSI(21) Should be greater than 55.
4. SUPER TREND(10,3) should be showing Buy.
5. ADX should be greater than or equal to 20.
6. +DMI (13) Should be above - DMI(13)
7. Price should close above its 13 period SMA.
8. Volume should be above its 13 period SMA.
PLS CONFIRM IF I AM CORRECT. IF NOT PLS RECTIFY THE INCORRECT.

I also back tested rsi 21 and 14 rsi.Rsi 21 gives better returns than rsi 14 and limited signals compared to rsi14 as suggested by thovithi bramhachary sir in f2f.

In the video you had mentioned that you always run a fundamental screener along with your indicator. This resonates with my positional trading approach. While I continue to learn with a limited exposure of capital, I would rather trust a system based for investing a slightly bigger corpus. Which of the smallcases would be ideal for me is what I wanted to connect with you for. Is there an email or contact that you can kindly share? I thoroughly enjoyed the rationale and success of the system made. One question to the creators is that while making the universe of the stocks have they taken data with out survivorship bias as this is extremely important in the case of long term tests and particularly with a meagre number of signals(919 or 1671 depending on the time frame) for 400 stocks over 20 years. The main reason is one needs to worry about statistical significance of the back test. I also want to congratulate the duo for creating a trend following strategy with 75% success rate in weekly time frame and 60% success rate in daily time frame which is not easy. Other parameters like holding period and average win to loss also confirm the trend following nature.This is another reason for the question.
Hi thanks for your views. When we constructed the universe we took these factors into case where new entrants at different point in time were also included. However this may not be completely non discretionary in nature.
@@turtlequants4602 Thanks for your reply. One more thing that has to be taken care of, is how much of the data is in-sample and how much of the data is out-of-sample for these metrics. If the entire data is used for optimization of parameters (for Technical Indicators) then that could be problematic. Hope you have taken care of that too. Best wishes.
