- Territorial evolution of Slovakia every year.
Not everything in this video might be 100% correct nor does it encapsulate the entirety of Slovak history only the territorial one.

Slovakia, simillar to Poland, has been occupied for years by neighbouring countries. Greeting from Poland to our Slovak cousins :)
Except poland was a massive empire and bitching about being "colonized" lmao
After Magyar invasion which plundered Nitra Duchy principality. Cheif of the Magyar nomads get by Hunt and Poznan to Nitra principality throne after it start name of the territory as Hungary. Double cross of Slovakia flag is from Byzantine Empire when Constantin and Methodius teach people to Christianity and stop Slavic Paganism.
@@simpleslav8448 another slovak propagandists, the double cross was not used by the "nitra duchy" or by great moravia
It was an amazing and well-detailed video!
I'm Hungarian and I'm very interested in Slovak history. I also live in an area, which used to be inhabited by Slovaks and the heritage of the Slovak culture still remains here.

The fact that half of the video is a cap...
Na toto video som čakal roky, a oplatilo sa čakať 💖
Mali by ho vidieť všetci, čo tvrdia, že Slovensko nemá históriu
Slovakia has no history, just during the 20th century. The slovaks lived peacefully in Upper-Hungary with hungarians, germans and rutens. The Hungarian Kingdom leaders were hungarians, germans and slavs, so slovak historty is the hungarian history. But the true leader of the Charpatian-Basin is the owner of the Holy Crown, Patrona Hungarie, Virgin Mary.
@@Ministrans What did you just watch then ?

@@SclavorumHistory Csák, Aba, Rátót, Vesselényi, Thököly, these are all hungarian noble families
@ I’m pretty sure some people already responded to you so shortly, Rátot family comes from Italy,Thököly is reffered to as Tót multiple times in many ways, František Vešeleni used wrote his name in the Slovak form Fraňo, I’m not saying these families aren’t a part of the Hungarian history but you need to understand Slovaks were a big Part in kingdom of Hungary too and we lived together in peace until 1800s
@@SclavorumHistory None of those families are slovak that is the point, as you conveniently ommitted the other 2

Ahh yes,, Matúš Čak Trenčiansky,, eastern Slovakia is sometimes called like a ,, Matúšova zem,,

Great video
Most accurate video about Slovak history i even seen. The only thing missed here was second principality of Nitra 894-901 which was state that svatopluk 2 divided from Great moravia until he was k*lled
I don’t think Svätopluk II really had a independent state since he was quickly captured and imprisoned it was more of a internal conflict, And Moríc Beňovský wrote a letter in Slovak also his family is mentioned in “Hungaria in parabolis: sive, Commentarii in adagia et dicteria hungarorum” as Slovak speaking Nobles
@@SclavorumHistory It probably was still semi independent rebel state like Cák had. And can i ask two questions 1 Why moravia was here before Great Moravia and after 2: Who were those vassals in late 12 and early 13 century and what was vagria, i never heard of these
@ Rulers of Moravia before Mojmir are considered semi-legendary because we know very little about them but some even have frescoes, they were the rulers of tribes revolting against the Avars. The same applies for rulers after 907. Vagria are the leftover Moravian Tribes in North Slovakia. Historians like Papanek mention Vševlad, Hromovlad and others as the last rulers of Moravians that might’ve ruled until 991ad
@@SclavorumHistory What Moravian states have to do with us, i personally consider Moravian state as slovak history only during svätopluk Slavomír and Rastislav since they werent ethnically Moravian otherwise its just for Moravians. And what are these states at 3:32, 6:32,6:48,7:08 i never heard of them. Sorry for annoying you but i want to know since im planning doing short of Slovak evolution
@@Retmok calling them not ethnically Moravian is kinda silly, Latin sources in 9th century documented Moravians living in the lands between Bulgars and Czechs and being made of two main tribes Marhari (Moravians in the modern region) and Merehani (Nitrian Moravians) at that time all the Slavs in Moravia Slovakia and Panonia were considered to be of the same nation and clearly distinct from their neighbors, we shouldn’t rob ourselves from history because the heartland of our ancestors isn’t populated anymore by our people. Also the core region of Great Moravia has kept a Slovak associated name Slovácko
chýba mi tam obdobie okolo roku 1530 keď územie dnešného Slovenska hralo najvýznamnejšiu úlohu v Uhorsku, chýba mi tam aj rod Turzovcov, Zápoľských a i. aj ked to boli miešané rody (veď vieme ako to u šľachty chodilo :) ) ale video spravené dobre :D Slováci aj keď sme malý národ máme históriu a udržali sme si jazyk aj ked by nám jazyk našich predkov znel ináč predsa je náš. Buďme hrdí na dedičstvo našich predkov.
vtedy uz Uhorska nebolo a bolo len Slovensko a navyse Slovensko vzdy bolo viac ako Uhorsko

Bro just stole 1000 years of hungaryan history. Its a joke bro. "Gejza" is Géza a hungaryan king. Dynasty is Árpád whitch is also a hungaryan dynasty so I dont get your point. Géza reigned in Hungary from 972 to 997. All of the Árpád dynasty were hungaryan so the ones who was in this dynasty were all hungaryan leaders. Omodej Aba (Aba Amádé) was a leader of a hungaryan province. Cák Matus (Csák Máté) also was a leader of a province. In this time Hungary was made of of provinces. In this time (Károly Róbert) was the hungaryan king who wanted to unite whole hungary so he did it in 1321 when he was win the last province of hungary. Bocskai István (Stefan Bockaj) was fighting against Habsburg Rudolf because he didnt supported him. Thököly Imre also wasnt slovak he also didnt like the Habsburg rein, also because religion. Wesselényi Istvan was reign in transylvania and borned there so I dont understand your point again. And then comes the trianon...
What’s the difference between Arpads ruling the Nitrian duchy and Anjou’s ruling Kingdom of Hungary ? And Thököly literally used a title Tót Király Slovak King I’m not going to comment on the rest but you can look them up most have Slovak background
@@TrasherMThat there was a Hungary and not nitran duchy and so on, the map that Árpád was reign isnt looked like this. And there wasnt slovaks, yes there were Tóths but that was the name of the slavs were lived there. And they wernt slovaks but czechs and polishes, I dont say becouse i want to course but slovaks dont have a blood, their or your blood are czech and polish villagers's blood.
@@laska5824 Duchy of Nitra was slovak it was state with personal union. And we are not poles or czechs, czechs are descendands of celts which got slavicized look at bohemia during roman empire ,almost same borders as todays Čechi. And poles got kicked out after 1031 some villagers managed to stay but they were minority
@@TrasherM "And Thököly literally used a title Tót Király Slovak King" that's complete nonsense, there is no source for that. None of them have slovak background, the Aba and Csák families are ancient conqueror hungarian families
@ there are documents where Ottomans referred to Thokoly’s duchy as Tótság or Tót Imperium, Čák is a part of Slovak history because of his connection to Slovakia and because he tried to create something like a Kingdom from Slovakia and Moravia by nominating Šternberks as his successors and Aba is of Khazar Descent

@dorkinsful Care to cooperate?
Uhorsko - náš 800-ročný domov, v ktorom sme mali ako národ dôležité postavenie a dokonca niekoľko jeho kráľov malo dokázateľne slovenský pôvod, si tam nedal. Za to tam dávaš Sedmohradsko, kde Slováci nikdy nežili a dokonca Madagaskar, ktorý nemal so Slovákmi okrem kráľa nič spoločné.

Great Moravia wasnt that big it only had modern day hungary, moravia, bit of south west poland, bohemia and thats it. Correct me wrong if anything
No the Borders I used are widely accepted and documented for example Lužica region is documented as becoming fealty to the Franks and splitting from Moravia so if they split it means it was a part of it, There are also theories that it was bigger but I will not elaborate on it
Is it documented that during Svatopluk it reached down to south Serbia ?
@ Yes just read about it more sk.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veľká_Morava
@@SclavorumHistory Wiki says it was just theory that it reached to south serbia. I personally think it would be vojvodina because it was most southern point of Hungarian kingdom and after collapse of Great Moravia nobody had it except Hungarians
@ yeah there are only theories it extended further and one source from a 16th century historian
Ahoj mám niekoľko pripomienok a otázky.
1 mohol si spomenúť Kvádsku ríšu ta tiež patrí do dejín Slovenska
2 myslím že tie hranice v 1849 boli o niečo väčšie
3 mohol si spomenúť Dunajskú civilizáciu a danubian scripts, teda Vinčianské písmo z Tărtăria v Rumunsku
4 je tu viac kultúr ktoré by si zaslúžili pozornosť ako Lengyelská kultúra - Slovenská Trója, Megalitická kultúra - Holíčske menhiry, KURGANSKA kultúra, Otománská kultúra - Slovenské Mykény, Lužická kultúra-meče Liptovského typu, Čakanská kultúra a Velatická kultúra obe patrili medzi morské národy ktoré dobili Grecko, Chetitskú ríšu, Asyrskú ríšu a Egypt.
5 dalo by sa pridať aj viac kmeňov ako Vamdali, Jazygovia, Skíri, Jasy, Veneti, Sklavíni, Gepidi, Huni, Suevi, Biely Chorváti, Avari, Korutánci, Bulharské kráľovstvo.
6 celé územie Slovenska patrilo Poľsku 1001-1028
7 západná a severná časť Slovenska patrila Českému kniežatstvu 929-967-999
Otázky
1 čo bola tá Vágria?
2 odkiaľ si zohnal tú mapu z roku 1050? prečo patrí k Nitriansku aj Sedmohradsko?
3 prečo Uhorsko nepovažuješ za súčasť Slovenských dejín?
4 mohol by si doplniť aj Tartarský vpád?
5 prečo si dam nezaradil povstanie Gabriela Betlena a Rákociho?
