You should buy one household item every where you go and get it shipped to a family member to remind you of your travels when you buy a house and then almost everything will be sentimental and you will be reminded of all your beautiful memories of travel
Zoe Andrews she said she would but she’s trying to live minimally. Which I think is awesome. And they’ll always have these vlogs as memories, which is awesome!!!
from the outside i wasn't expecting much but WOW!!!!! this house BLEW ME AWAY, IM SPEECHLESS AND IN AWE OF ITS BEAUTY!!! def my fav house y'all have stayed in!
WOW. that drone footage is surreal and the house is just gorgeous. what a dream it must be to experience this beautiful country and it’s culture. can’t wait for more videos here!!
Guys this is Medina, which is the ancient area of the city, built hunderds years ago, and it s abvious that it doesnt look like today modern cities, Fes has its new part called the new Fes where you can experience all what you have in the modern cities, supermarkets, malls, gerdans, parks etc... So you guys watching this and think Morocco looks all the same that s not true.
You know the Knorpp's wifi is working when you get 2 videos in 24 hours!! Love the house, so different to anything you guys have lived in before! Can't wait for this new adventure ❤️
Kendall Hoyt they said they were using data from their phones 'cause the internet isn't fast enough for uploading. Now that's commitment! Thanks knorpp and south!
I have never appreciated your channel as much as I do after watching this video. It's truly amazing that you are able to share these places on such an amazing platform. I may never visit Morocco in my life, but it feels like I have through this video. Thank you so much for your dedication to sharing your travels!!
AMAZING! I spent a couple weeks in the Arab quarter in old Jeruselum a few years ago and the streets in your footage reminded me of that trip! It was such a gift to experience the culture and befriend the people there! I definitely came away with an open mind, bigger heart, and better lense to view the world, if that makes sense. It is so valuable to step into worlds where people live, look, and believe different things than you - we have so much to learn from each other and should not be afraid of each other. Thank you for sharing and You are giving your kids such an incredible gift!
I think the date of the house in in Hijri calendar (the islamic calendar). We’re now in 1439 h. The arabic writing says “in the name of Allah, the merciful” this is what muslims say whenever they “begin” something, anything from starting a meal, to moving to a new home.
in Morocco we don't use the Muslim calendar a lot. We use the other calendar which the year is 2019 now. Also, they are lots of old houses in Morocco that are more than a hundred years old.
I had to laugh when the wife said, " I think it says something Arabic" lol! Well, duh!! How long had they been there and hadn't asked anyone what it meant?!!
Thank you so much for that fantastic tour of the house! I would never get an opportunity like this any other way! I really appreciate you sharing your lives with us! It's the life I would live in my dreams but will never ever get to do. Thank you!!
Wow !! Fez looks amazing! It reminds me of the Disney movie Aladdin. Your children are so lucky to have you as parents taking them on the awesome journey. I can’t wait to for your next video.
I absolutely love Morocco. Family were discussing going again - so full of culture, colour and life! 😍 Thanks for sharing the beautiful place you're staying! Enjoy!!
I love love love Morocco!! It's just beautiful. The straights of Gibraltar is a gorgeous ferry ride with the water a fake color of blue (where I'm from the water is a brownish greenish blue.....ish). I swore they poured paint into the water!! Sooo excited to relive some of what I saw while there. Thanks for the nostalgia.
I stumbled across this video while studying ancient Roman houses. I wanted to find out if windows were glazed or if they had shutters since no ancient artefacts exist that are made of glass. But that is understandable. It probably did exist and they used it sparingly since it's a fragile material. I was led to Moroccan house design that has given me an incredible insight into how ancient roman houses functioned with windowless rooms placed all around a central atrium so that in effect glass wasn't needed except for ornamental stained coloured glass as such is seen around Windows and doorways coming off central private courtyard atriums. And I now understand how ancient roman town planning worked with residences butted up next to each other. This an economical and efficient way of building for the plebeian class who still had a reasonably good standard of living. So thank you for your tour.
I found one of your videos about 4pm yesterday...One of the RV ones. I haven't stopped watching since. Its now 10:30am the next morning. I haven't slept, I've been watching non stop. I've never been so fascinated by anyone's life before. I am living vicariously thru you.
It's fascinating how different the citybuilding is in Fez than in the other places you've lived in! I love the place, I hope you're having a great time.
I first watched your videos after I searched chalets in France and ever since I've been happy to follow you on your journeys. It is so nice to see your respect for Islam. Morocco is beautiful!! The drone video clips look like a Mondrian painting...sooo beautiful. I feel we have a lot in common, my husband and I ( celebrated our 56th anniversary on Valentine's Day) home schooled our two children and our four grandsons. All are creative and caring individuals. We are also health conscience ..our daughter sells DoTerra essential oils which I use on a daily basis and in my soap making. I have a soap and skin-care shop on Etsy. Thank you for sharing your experiences as you move through life.
I am just in "awe"...... In . everything, the stairs, the carvings and the drone shots "WOW" . Beautiful!!!! All of it. I will never get to go to any of these places.( Not physically able.) So I am just drinking in every single thing you show. Thank you so much for showing me. I am just so amazed at the different lifestyles, cultures and it is all under one big beautiful sky. Enjoy yourselves!!!!
I watch your videos several times so I do not miss anything. There is so much to see in this world. Thank you so very much for sharing it with me. I am not physically able to travel so I am so happy I get to follow your family .
Love watching these older videos and seeing where your inspiration was drawn from throughout your adventures. The tile you loved for your new house is very similar to this rooftop tile!
I love these blogs. You put everything I love in one vlog...LOL...Jesus, Travel, big family, lifestyle, etc...I love to see all the characters of oversea houses! I love it. I love to see how you all live daily, overseas. Each day is different and we're just not seeing just one day of a trip. Love it! :D
Morocco is a place I only read about before. I never imagined myself even in the near future to be travelling there. Thank you for taking us there through your videos. Its a fascinating to watch! The house is beautiful...☺
Fez isn't like going to a different planet, its going to the REST of the planet! I would highly recommend that if you've hired a chef (genius idea by the way) have them take you to where they shop. Not so that you can cook yourself but so that you can see how they procure food. As you travel onwards and further outside "Western" culture you'll need the experience of shopping in open air markets and not a western style supermarkets so take advantage of a guide. Of course every culture will be a little bit different but the street market food shopping has been fairly universal in my experience - just not in North America.
You all look so nice, happy and renewed going away from routine makes miracles. The different smells, colors, ambience, food, people, sounds, etc from new places makes us to reborn. The world is so big, with so many beautiful places, countries, etc that we never will have enough time to visit all of them, but since you made the first steps and knowing how it feels to be discovering something new If I would be you, will try to go farther, like Egipt, Turkey, Greece, Japan, Italy, Thailand, or ar least the most you can, I think repeting places or staying too long in just one, will take away the opportunity to know, experience, enjoy the magic of the world. Thanks so much for your videos, I love your sweet family.!
Amazing. Beautiful tile work.I love the way the children come along for the tour. Lots of love there. The roof top shots are absolutely amazing. Soaking up all of that Vit D. Thanks for sharing your journey.
The floors and windows are works of art in this home. Ceilings too...it’s as if the houses are sort of hidden away behind winding entrances..or so it seemed to me..
Wow....absolutely loved this video and all the drone shots of the city and countryside! AMAZING! I have followed your vlogs for a long time, first time commenting and I felt I had to make sure you knew how beautiful that drone footage is. I can't imagine how incredible it is to be walking through ancient history...blows my mind! Enjoy this wonderful time with your family and savor every moment!
Thanks Knorpps for another wonderful video. Your channel inspires me so much, and you always show me how there’s so much more to life than just a typical daily routine. I’ve been to Morocco before, and the colors and flavors were overwhelming to me in the best way.
What a beautiful part of the world, i would love to visit there in the near future. I think it's important for kids to learn and appreciate cultures and customs of other countries, Thanks for taking us along on your journey!
THANK YOU so much, one of my favourite videos so far, open hearts, open minds is what i love about you guys, certainly living the dream, really happy for you all, safe and happy travels, blessings from Australia.xxx
Fabulous update, it's so interesting to see how other people live. Love the tiles, the plasterwork and carving, and the rooftops. I'm fascinated by the different rooftops of the world and the drone footage was like a movie scene. Keep it coming 👍👍👍
Take a still shot of the tops of the houses with your drone, it would make a great piece of artwork. Well actually it is art. What a wonderful adventure, I'd be totally buying everything in sight.
Great post. Thank you for sharing that not long enough video. I would love to have visited that part of the world Some friends "lived" in Morocco for about a year and absolutely loved it. They loved the people, the food the climate and everything else. Love your longer more detailed vids of what you are seeing. I am now not able to travel anymore so I do it through you and others who so generously post so much awesomeness! Blessing always!
It's amazing anytime there's drone footage, paired with the lovely music you guys pick, it's honestly such a unique way to show off the character of where you're living. Would love to see as much drone stuff as you can get away with!
What a beautiful place to stay in! Very different from where you’ve visited so far it seems. I really enjoy watching all your adventures. Thank you for sharing
I love the tile work but not the darkness in the home. I am so glad that Your family gets to experience so much and that you take us with you! Very beautiful! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🐱🐈🌸💕🌷
The writting on the bedroom wall says "Bismillahirrahmaniraheem" which means "In the name of God the most gracious and the most merciful". Its a sort of prayer that muslim's say before we start an activity (eating, sleeping driving etc.) I've watched your channel for over a year already and I'm so excited for you to be learning and exploring our religion. Its so interesting to see it from an outsiders point of view 😊
If this doesn't give you the travel bug, then nothing will! The house and city are so beautiful! I loved your one child running in to the rooms ahead of you and somersaulting onto the couches/beds! What amazing experiences for them!
Ellie Grace I was just going to say that also, just watched a video from Sailing La Vagabond who were in Morocco and they had their drone held by customs? when they landed.
why have us as humans become so lazy and boring. At least in North America we have. Look at all the beauty and passion put into the work they did 100s of years ago. Its beautiful and detailed and shows the pride and love they had for whatt they did. Your family is so blessed to experience this and We are blessed that you share this with us. God Bless
Mike, your drone shots were amazing, Hard to believe being crammed into the city and not so far away so much open space with the mountains. Beautiful home, love the open space on the roof.
Wow, wow, wow, amazing, amazing, amazing!!!! I love the drone footage!!!!! Your house is very beautiful. I've always loved the morrocan textiles, colors and architecture. Especially the decor.....it's awesome 👍
I lived in the Middle East for years. I love your home in Fes, it looks amazing. I loved living in that part of the world . How fun for your family. Except plane travel. I can’t even imagine with all the kids and luggage. In Morocco! Wow.
Guys please stay safe and look after your little ones pls. I’ve missed you soooo much and thank you for sharing ur life experience with us as this is the ONLYway I’ll be able to see some parts of the world, God bless 😘
Awesome House...tile work , crafting, colors are just amazing...its all arabic feel ❤ this is old city with lot of traditions historic work...Aweosme..
LOVED watching this vlog. I love Morrocco and its people, so kind and peaceful. The beautiful architecture was astounding and the mystery of the markets and old city is like a movie set. I think some people feeling uneasy, maybe they come from the US and have anxiety about visiting Muslim countries, but being from the UK, we don't live in fear and I'm so lucky we have the ability to visit the cultures of North Africa. Thanks for the video.
Hey Megan and Mike! I have been watching you since you started travelling around the USA and also when you ventured to Europe and I feel so happy that you have now decided to travel around a totally different continent! 😊 As the USA and Europe are quite similar in the fact that a lot of their history is related to the religion of Christianity and so consist of majority caucasian people, it will be amazing for your family to learn about a culture that is completely different to what they’re used to! It is going to be wonderful to watch how they react and open their minds to people from a different faith to their own which I can’t wait to see since already they are bright young very open minded children! I really really hope you enjoy Morocco and enjoy learning more about the muslim faith and culture while you are there! You will be amazed to see how similar our two religions are, just like I was when I began learning more about Christianity. I hope you meet good people who will be able to show you a different side to Islam that you may have been unaware of before. Man, I have never been so excited for unseen vlogs before! BTW, the blue arabic on the wall was calligraphy which is a very popular art form in muslim countries and if you plan on visiting Mosques you will see more of them! 🕌 That particular arabic calligraphy says bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ which means “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". It is a sentence used by muslims on a daily basis as it is said in Salah (Prayer) as well as in the Quran numerous times. Basically we just like to say it before we start doing anything to ensure God is with us ❤️ Also while you’re in Morocco be sure to visit Marrakesh and also Casablanca! Try checking out the King Hassan II Mosque while you are in Casablanca it is so beautiful and you just can’t leave Morocco without seeing it!
I completely support and understand your goal of living more simply. Recently, I’ve been putting into practice the idea that just because I admire a thing does not mean that I must possess that thing. Beauty can be seen an appreciated and add value to my life without adding it to my future physically.
I thoroughly enjoy hour videos! But I wonder do you ever have "traveler's stomach?" Are you concerned about bed bugs? I worry about those things when I travel here in my own country. I think your children (and you) will cherish the memories you've been making. Blessings. ☺
it would be so great if you can get a scarf they are so beautiful. (and they pack down). I babysat a little boy whose parents were Moroccan. they lived on a nearby Naval base here in California and they would leave me the most grand tasting food just for babysitting on top of paying me, at Christmas they would give me little gifts from Morocco, my favorite was a woven scarf. I loved that scarf, they moved and my mom lost my scarf. the colors of Morocco are so pretty.
UMMMMM can we take a second for those drone shots!!!
They took my breath away, absolutely stunning!
Ikr! Change your playback speed if you want to enjoy it some more.
They were just gorgeous
BEAUTIFUL👌🏽
sadly the drone is forbidden in MOROCCO
You should buy one household item every where you go and get it shipped to a family member to remind you of your travels when you buy a house and then almost everything will be sentimental and you will be reminded of all your beautiful memories of travel
Zoe Andrews she said she would but she’s trying to live minimally. Which I think is awesome. And they’ll always have these vlogs as memories, which is awesome!!!
Zoe Andrews i like to have a house like in morocco. Ugly outside but so beautiful inside
@@karenadvincula4070 the same but i would love a pool as well, when the drone was going over head some of the homes had pools in their courtyards
Morocco is truly a magical place. I miss it every day.
from the outside i wasn't expecting much but WOW!!!!! this house BLEW ME AWAY, IM SPEECHLESS AND IN AWE OF ITS BEAUTY!!! def my fav house y'all have stayed in!
Probably my most favorite home yet... we're all citizens of this world and need to care for and love one another. Thank you Knorpps.

Which they do :-)
I think the date of the house in in Hijri calendar (the islamic calendar). We’re now in 1439 h.
The arabic writing says “in the name of Allah, the merciful” this is what muslims say whenever they “begin” something, anything from starting a meal, to moving to a new home.
Yes - I think you’re right on the date. We realized that later. And thanks for the translation! What a beautiful phrase.
in Morocco we don't use the Muslim calendar a lot. We use the other calendar which the year is 2019 now.
Also, they are lots of old houses in Morocco that are more than a hundred years old.
I sent a screen shot of the Arabic writing to my Egyptian husband .... ROUGH TRANSLATION... By the name of God, God is loving God is forgiving.
In the name of Allah the beneficent and merciful
In the name of Allah the most beneficent and the most merciful .
Paulette Frantz Egyptian husband? ? Wish you all the best with lies I hate Egyptian plz don't trust the busted
I had to laugh when the wife said, " I think it says something Arabic" lol! Well, duh!! How long had they been there and hadn't asked anyone what it meant?!!
Moroccan is a different Arabic language which goes by the style of dareeja
Thank you so much for that fantastic tour of the house! I would never get an opportunity like this any other way! I really appreciate you sharing your lives with us! It's the life I would live in my dreams but will never ever get to do. Thank you!!

Wow. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to be there. Incredible!
Wow! That drone footage is so surreal.
I've noticed how much I miss the Knorpps based on my headaches and motivation. Your videos truly help me get through this stressful period of my life.
Try essential oils in between Knorpp fixes! It may help! 😉
What a great idea!

You've probably already checked but I have a feeling drones are illegal in Morocco... I wouldn't want you to get into trouble!
Ellie Grace I was just going to say that also, just watched a video from Sailing La Vagabond who were in Morocco and they had their drone held by customs? when they landed.
Wow! Just How beautiful it is!! I loved seeing the footage from the drone😍

Beautiful! How fabulous! The tiles and carvings are amazing!💖💖
why have us as humans become so lazy and boring.
Thank you for sharing. What an amazing house tour(the best so far). It reminds me that there are so many great cultures in our world.

At first I said I can't do Morocco but my culture shock was for a minute. I love it
Never judge a book from it cover, :)
WOW! The details on this house, it's so amazing!
Those drone shots are amazing I love that you guys do these tours!!!
thbose drone shots were amazing. The homes looked fake after you got way up there. Almost like little paper or card houses.
Gorgeous colors and shapes. I truly enjoyed this vidoe. The drone shots are unbelievable.
It reminds so much of when I went to Pakistan , such a beautiful peaceful country

Hey Megan and Mike! I have been watching you since you started travelling around the USA and also when you ventured to Europe and I feel so happy that you have now decided to travel around a totally different continent! 😊
As the USA and Europe are quite similar in the fact that a lot of their history is related to the religion of Christianity and so consist of majority caucasian people, it will be amazing for your family to learn about a culture that is completely different to what they’re used to!
That particular arabic calligraphy says bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ which means “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". It is a sentence used by muslims on a daily basis as it is said in Salah (Prayer) as well as in the Quran numerous times. Basically we just like to say it before we start doing anything to ensure God is with us ❤️
Also while you’re in Morocco be sure to visit Marrakesh and also Casablanca! Try checking out the King Hassan II Mosque while you are in Casablanca it is so beautiful and you just can’t leave Morocco without seeing it!
Amazing footage, loved it, living vicariously through you all!
Awesome video! Really interesting house tour. So unique and beautiful with the mosaics and carvings. Love it!
Mike!!!! Your drone shots are absolutely outstanding! Great job.
The texture is the beauty of it❤️
I love it! The house, the area (and your top!) are all so beautiful! Good luck in Morocco, keeping a prayer for you!
