Dude the video production is amazing. Good work. You get straight to the point, great music, i haven't even finished the first minute yet and i already like your video.
Sweet video production dude. Just got myself a 7 speed cruiser and been thinking up some spray paint designs, but I didn't know how to paint..yet lo and behold, your video is just the right video to give me all the help I need! Gonna save this to my "favorites" Playlist and I'm definitely gonna spray paint my bike soon. Thanks again for such a cool video. 😎
Epic work brother! Still angry that you abandoned our terraria sessions for this but the result is straight up fire🔥so i guess i'll have to cope with it
I thought so too tbh, and was not sure if I should spray paint the whole wheels or not, but till now the break pads work fine and the paint did not come off. If you use 2 coats of primer, it should be alright
So I just got a brand new bike and wanted to know if there are any steps I can skip since it has a perfect paintjob on there, such as sanding and or using primer?
I wouldn't skip steps like sanding and primer (yes sanding is a lot of work), because else the paint job could easyily come off, and since you put in work and money anyways, I would try to do it right. You could skip the clear coat, but that one only costs like 5 bucks and is not a lot of work.
Loved the vid, bought a scuffed up old bike & going to spray paint it. The only thing is I've never disassembled a bike before, any useful link to how to do that part? 🤦🏻
So happy I came across this upload! I've had the exact project in mind and this just breathed life into me about tackling it. F Fantastic video, I've already logged a few views
@@sempribolove the editing and final outcome. I rawed a frame once and used the paint stripper for the first time step. Really sped things up. p e a c e
How do you spray paint a bike without disassembling it? I have one but I think the nuts and bolts are too old to be doing that! They’re all rusty and stuff. Any suggestions?
Hey! Really nice i'm going to copy the stand fornì handle the frame. How many cans of colour and clear coat did you use? Do you think 1 of colour and 1 of clear coat is enough? Thank you!!
Ahh einer der in deutschland lebt, ab dem Moment wo ich Obi gesehen hab wusste ichs schon 😁 Und sehr Nices Video, vorallem den Anfangs edit fand ich nice
You want to mask all the areas where screws go inside or where there is a lot of wear, else screws will not go inside or the paint will scrub off anyways.
hey yo - so, did any of the paint chip off by now or everything alright?:D I am curious because I didn't expect casual Montana cans to be fine for the bike, always thought it would chip off
The paint job is still in very good condition. One day I went to the bike workshop with the bike and the guy working there said, he saw a lot of self made paint job, but this one was the best.
I really want to do this, I have an old bike and the paint has came off now, but I dont know anything about dismantling my bike 😢 I guess I have to learn first how to dismantle it 😆
just stole a bike from the hood time to repaint it very helpful

Prison workout routine applied
lool this is why i searched this video up
This is why we use airtags now.
Lmao.
Looks great. So pleased you haven't covered it in names and logos. The bike looks a lot nicer without them.
yes, finally someone who i can relate to
True it looked nicer in white color...bt how he did manage to paint is awesome too.

Omg I really love your editing style!
would be nice to see a follow up, in order to know how it looks like after a few months (especially the wheels)

Happy to hear that, you got this🙏
This video is amazing and very helpful. the production quality is 10/10
This was so therapeutic to watch! 😍
Wow this video is so aesthetically nice
Love the fact that the video had 0 fluff!
i love the bike stand! good idea!

The production value on this vid is insane
yoo your editing skills with the music is a VIBE
Loved the DOOM song addition
Such a great video! Been wanting to do this for years, finally going to do it this summer thanks to your video! Cheers man
Man your channel is underrated for real
You have great taste, even in music. Nice video my friend.
This man knows how to make a video
On point bro! Can’t wait to do this with gold spray paint ❤️
would be dope!
after 4 years. He has returned!
Hahaha you know it!👌
For the little holes, you can use disposable earplugs instead of messing with tape.
I enjoyed the soundtrack and the video editing thoroughly. Thank you.
What happens if I just put the layer of paint over the original paint?
The new point will look off and it will peel off fast
5:39 MF DOOM!!!! That’s sick bro this made the video 100x better ! The bike came out amazing bro 👌 Rest In Peace to the villain
thanks man
@@sempribo did u just paint wheels with hubs, spokes and tires on it,all at on in one go???
Good job mate! I really loved this vlog-tutorial and I'm looking forward to paint my bike as well. Subscribed!
Thanks a lot:)
Wouldnt the break pads rub off the paint? I really want to paint my bike wheels black but I'm afraid it would mess up my brake pads
I thought so too tbh, and was not sure if I should spray paint the whole wheels or not, but till now the break pads work fine and the paint did not come off. If you use 2 coats of primer, it should be alright
Yes, it will and you will be putting yourself in danger of the brakes not stopping you at all
You should not paint brake lines because the brakes wont work as well
@@John_CL pads or line?
I'm thinking about doing this with my bike frame, but the part I am dreading the most is the sanding.
Yeah I think it's better to pay for sand blasting.
There are bike specific chemical solutions that do most of the work for you, both for carbon and aluminium/ steel.
So I just got a brand new bike and wanted to know if there are any steps I can skip since it has a perfect paintjob on there, such as sanding and or using primer?
Also super sick editing

As soon as I hear Baris Manco I just got extra hyped.
Nice work, both the video quality and the bicycle refinishing.
Your music selection was pleasant to listen to as well.

where do I get one of those hammers?
great job u deserve millions of subs
thank you for including the details. important stuff
What grit of sand paper did you use for the wet-sand and then for the in-between while applying the primer? This is a really helpful video!
Look at the link in the video description. I started of with the rough sandpaper(80 - 400) and worked my way up to the finer ones (600 - 2000)
@@sempribolove the editing and final outcome. I rawed a frame once and used the paint stripper for the first time step. Really sped things up.
p e a c e
Do you have to totally strip the pain or can you just rough it up then hit with primer?
love the music track to the vid, keep them comming!
How many hours did it take?
Much better then the one I hade on board.
How do you spray paint a bike without disassembling it? I have one but I think the nuts and bolts are too old to be doing that! They’re all rusty and stuff. Any suggestions?
Wonder if anyone's dented their frame trying to disassemble like that... Great vid!
editing and the music is fireeee.
loved it when it hit with trip fairground man =)
What's the best&rare colour duo for my bike 🤔?(I have a BMX)
the music is fire in this vid lol
Looks awesome!
Hey! Really nice i'm going to copy the stand fornì handle the frame. How many cans of colour and clear coat did you use? Do you think 1 of colour and 1 of clear coat is enough? Thank you!!
How many coats can 1 can of spray paint do? (Frame and fork only)
i could do 1 coat of orange with 1 can, but it depends on how thick you paint that coat. But I would buy 2 cans if you wanna do 2 coats
The color on the brake can create problems?
OMG this is so dope!!!
Why the primer need double coat?
Cool vid man! you deserve more subs! :D
Thanks dude!
How long did it take you to sandpaper the bike frame and was it difficult?
a couple of days, and no it was not difficult but a lot of work
@@sempribo question, do I still have to sand my bike if its raw aluminum? There’s no paint on it. Thank you for this video!

Danke dir!
Question why do I need to use primer?
dein video editing ist wunderbar!
vielen dank!
Do I have to sand the bike first or is there another method (im on a budget and trying to respray and old bmx )
Did you remove old colour from rims before putting the primer?
Can I ask why you masked the holes? Is it a problem if the paint goes inside?
You want to mask all the areas where screws go inside or where there is a lot of wear, else screws will not go inside or the paint will scrub off anyways.
@@sempribo Thanks! Makes sense, I didn't think about it.
Where did you get the bike painting stand?
great job
i will paint my bike like yours, thanks for letting me know the color combine on the bike
Awesome, your welcome!! let me know if you have any questions
It’s lovely paint btw good job 👏
Did you paint the inside of your bearing races?
That’s so sick bro 🔥
What grid of sand paper did you use
mask the breaking surface?
with what? thanks, great vid
Can I wet sand a steel bike frame or would i have to dry sand it.
You can wet sand it, it should be stainless steel.
Is primer and clear coat important??
Sick little video man!
What did you use to wipe down the bike of sanding dust between coats ? Great video man bike is class
I only used very fine sandpaper between the coats after it dried, but you could also use a normal towel to wipe down the dust.
@@sempribo cheers thank you for reply
How much would you say this cost in total to do?
ok but what if i skip step one?
What did you use to suspend it so you could 360 paint it?
Sweet cat! :)
is it hard to dismantle the bike then re assemble?
is any grit of sand paper okay?
hey hey, thanks for the video, how did the color hold up? and what about tha montana black nc formula as it is not acrylic?
how many grit sandpaper do you use? (is 240 ok?)
Great, and helpful video. Thank you.❤
Sick bike. Great music choices
when i put the sand paper on it to i have to get all the paint or jus a good amount ?
better if you get off as much paint as possible, try to remove as much as I removed
Lol. No faucet outside the house? 🤣 Had to walk all the way to the kitchen hahah
na man:D its because i used warm water so the paint gets off easier
Can you use paint stripper instead of sanding the frame?
Yes I heard that people use it, but I never tried it.
How did you remove the paint from the bicycle
Sandpaper
The music makes me want to get to work

I started with strong sandpaper(80 - 600), then I finished it off with finer sandpaper(800-1600)
