Potential misty rework: Attach 1 water energy to any of your water type pokemon. At the end of your turn, flip a coin. If tails, discard 1 water energy from any of your water pokemon. This will prevent turn 1 articuno wins and severely lessens the impact of having extra energy in the early game when it is most oppressive (there is a 50% chance that the extra energy you attach just disappears if you don't have energy in your benched mons). Simultaneously, this gives misty a better use in the late game as a way to reallocate energy similar to Lt Surge.
Here's an idea for the 'stealth rock' discussion. A Stadium (field spell) that does 20 damage to every pokemon that enters the battle? Technically hits both players but would help out grapploct and Pidgeot more. Seems fair since its reciprocal and can be outed by the opponent playing their own stadium. Trick Room Stadium could make retreat cost = (4 - original retreat cost) so 1 retreat mons becomes 3 retreat and Snorlax can switch out for free :p
It would also benefit rock decks "more" since both Golem and Onix once they enter the field won't ever leave it uess forced to, they don't swap in and out, and Kabutops heals itself. But idk if I like this too much tbf.
They badly need a change to the first/second turn mechanics. They need to embrace new mechanics for sure. -And I need to see the same Pokemon in different types (ie Weezing in Grass).

That would be insane. Sabrina would become a Giovanni +10 damage and switching Pokémons
Idk if there is space for stadium cards in pocket, I feel no. Unless stadium will changed to a totally new mechanic
@ yeah, imo it should be just a pokemon's passive. Like Baneful Bunker Toxapex for example.
Asian names playing Starmie Articuno is like Turkey on Thanksgiving in this game.
What about another pokemon or two alongside Magneton with an Energy-Attach ability?
