- For my birthday we spent last week in Scotland, including a day at Model Rail Scotland. It was nice to be a visitor at a show for a change!
Here's what I filmed of the layouts, new releases and my purchases from the show.

Great video Tom, the Wickham Trolley always reminds me of Dora Bryan in The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery :)
I was there too on Friday.
Nice video of the show Tom thanks for sharing. Hope you had a good holiday and Birthday.🎉
I did thanks Richard, much needed break!
Looks like a good show, and it's nice to see you've been able to add some Thomas wagons to your collection. Must get my grandson to do another Thomas and friends video. Good video...cheers James 🙂👍
Thanks I enjoyed the stop motion ones you told me about, couldn't leave a comment to say, but thought they were very good.
@BuggleskellyStation thank you, we have the comments off for my grandson's protection due to his age. I'm pleased you enjoyed it. I will tell him you enjoyed it. Have you seen his Thomas one. I'm hoping he'll do some more stop motion filming . I've got a couple of the Laurel and Hardy figures painted and posed them on Dylington. They are great little figures...cheers James 🙂👍
This looks like such a great event. One day I’ll have to make the journey up to Scotland to check it out! There actually were two layouts at Warley last year showing the same station at different points in history, it is such a great idea though and I’m glad to see another pair of layouts attempt this! Great video and thank you for sharing this for those who weren’t able to attend 😊
Thanks :) Glad you liked it. I didn't get much time to look round at Warley so missed that one but it's a great concept.
I've never heard of a model train expo in Scotland except ones in my continent Tasmania and America.
We have hundreds in the UK, most weekends will have a local show somewhere, and there are about 10 national shows like this throughout the year.
I suppose James The Red Engine in O gauge doesn't have the eye mechanism.
I've no idea, I don't have James.
@@BuggleskellyStation But when I saw one scene of him I thought you had him was he given away to someone else? Not to me I'm not into O or G scale only HO.
I only have James in HO
@@BuggleskellyStation Either Hornby or Bachmann because when running James his eyes move from side to side.
What’s this all about?
Little trains an that innit
About the Thomas replica model Jon Jon made for you in O gauge did the replica have the eye mechs working?
No it doesn't.
@@BuggleskellyStation Why not? They can't be broken? Jon Jon did a lot of work on the replica.
It never had an eye mech fitted, there wasn't space inside the O gauge loco.
@@BuggleskellyStation Bonkers O gauge isn't the right size for the eye mech at least you can animate the eyeballs.
I could top that hornby thomas 1980s collection easy, also in the thomas clockwork set they never came with a yellow shell wagon, alot of sellers do this , this is not correct to the set
The stand was just showcasing 1985 releases, I don't know if it was his entire collection. I found it interesting anyway.
I don't think you've heard of TUGS before since you narrated in FLying Pringle's Thomas Replica film The Good Old Days but would you like to play one of The TUGS Characters in my TUGS Films?
I'm a fan of TUGS. I won't be able to voice your film though sorry, I'm not taking on roles at the moment.
I haven't planned on giving you any lines either because I'm not sure if you could try one of the character voices, don't voice Sunshine though I'm good at voicing him. I'm quite surprised that you knew TUGS from 1989.@@BuggleskellyStation
@@TheNewStoryteller why wouldn't I know Tugs? It's well known by Thomas fans as the sister series.
Well the thing is TUGS came out in 1989 like Batman has and Dink The Little Dinosaur I was wondering if you have or haven't been to the Star Tugs Trust society to see the TV stars there and when I asked if you could try voicing them I thought: "Hang on Marshall hasn't voiced a TUGS character he probably doesn't know what they sound like." That's what I nearly realised when you weren't doing any voice impressions.@@BuggleskellyStation
