      If It's in broad daylight in public i believe it is a bit of an over reaction. The key isn't fear men, it's fine a solution together we are weaker separate we must help each other as an society and give advice like hey don't go out late at night that's when creeps are mainly out. Men face more violent crimes so I'm sure we both notice violence as this horrible thing and want to stop it. Hearing stories hurts to hear I have women and girls I care about I want them safe just as much as you want women safe. But humanity gonna have to stop blaming one side or the other caring only about their side of the story. Stories like this is another reason I'm pro guns i feel this would happen less if women would learn how to use guns men may have a biological advantage but we aren't superman. We must see each other as allies, but if we keep focusing on ourselves and separate ourselves based on political groups or sex or race we are weaker. I believe men and women have good people in their gender, right leaning people or left leaning people have good people on their sides, I believe every race have good people on their side, but not everyone believes that so we divide ourselves. Instead of solving problems we agree on we fight over things we don't.

People in single parent households have a high crime rates we need each other that's what some of us forgets divide and conqueror is one of the strongest moves an dictator can do and it has been used and successful because as much as we have people saying they don't need the other we do and we are weaker without.

    I feel like masculinity is just in-general being confident with yourself and how you look, don't matter if you look feminine or wear makeup, and femininity is more associated with the idea of caring about what others think. People need to balance that shit or guys and galls like this pop up and cause problems smh

    • @lucidmind9676
      @lucidmind9676 2 місяці тому +10

      Agreed, someone like Prince for example was viewed as feminine and presumed gay for a period yet had the most beautiful women by his side because of his confidence. People worry to much about what others perceive of them instead of having confidence in themselves (I myself used to be that way) soon as I stopped caring about other’s opinions and became confident in myself, I get more attention from females that back then I would’ve assumed I had no chance with. It’s all about confidence, not caring, and being genuine to yourself

    So I found an article that goes into more details about the incident and the twins and I just want to clear up any misconceptions that people may have since they were out so late at night. The twins were 19 and went to the deli with a group of friends to get a late night snack. Prior to going to the deli the twins and their group of friends were at the house of the father of the twins. The group was playing games and watching movies, they had no alcohol or drugs. Some people may assume that since it was so late at night the twins may have been partying so I just wanted to clear that up just incase. They were trying to be smart and do the safe thing by going to the deli with a group of friends. The "man" that did this to them was 20 years old and was illegally drinking at a party next door to the deli. The building next to the deli is known to locals as a nuisance in their neighborhood that allows underage drinking. He turned himself in to the police 5 days after the brutal and senseless attack. He did not turn himself in because he felt guilty, he did it because he knew the police were closing in on him so he walked into the police station with his attorney by his side. The twins were planning to enroll in college soon. They were hanging out with friends and went as a group to get a snack, there was no reason for this senseless crime. They had every right to have the expectation to be able to walk to the deli and walk back home without being attacked. The murder was senseless and cost a young women her life and the attacker his freedom(hopefully for the rest of his life). She was only 19 and had her whole life ahead of her still, her chance to become something great was stolen from her all because she said no.

    The guy I was speaking to got upset because I told him at some point, ‘I don’t care who it is, I give my number to everyone.’ And it’s situations like this that make me realize I can block them afterward. But guys don’t always take ‘no’ for an answer, or ‘I’m sorry, I have a boyfriend,’ or ‘I’m married.’ And yes, I could give them a fake number, but they’re onto that too and will call you right there on the spot. I got called a ‘B’ once just because he thought I gave him a fake number, saying, ‘If you didn’t want to talk to me, just say that instead of giving me some bullshit name like Destiny.’ smh

    $50-100 for a knife is crazy, he could have got one for $10-15 at any bodega in ny. I got a good butterfly knife last year for like $12 and it’s holding up fine, most I’d spend on a knife is $30. If you got a kitchen knife on you your tryna catch a body

    The tone of this video is kinda inappropriate IMO. Maybe it’s because I’ve recently had someone who was murdered but I just found it kinda disrespectful I guess. In my opinion, UA-camrs shouldn’t report stories like this in the exact same manner and tone as they’d use delivering “tea”. Using SpongeBob memes, comedy and stuff like that is just odd for a story like this where a young woman was murdered. Someone lost their child and another lost their twin. It’s extremely sad. I don’t like when UA-camrs handle stories like this as if they’re just reporting gossip or just making content for money. I’m not trying to drag you, this is just constructive criticism for future videos like this. If anyone disagrees with me, I’m just gonna assume they’re under the age of 25 and don’t have enough life experiences to realize that I’m not hating but speaking the truth. I’m actually a fan of this channel.

    It's Saint Mark's Place, not St, which means that it was in the lower part of Manhattan.
    I wish I was surprised about the whole victim blaming scenario staring 5:00 in. Time of day means no real difference to an unhinged person. This is also not limited to a random encounter on the street. There is a serious problem with entitlement by men who can't handle rejection and will go beyond moving on.
    Did you not see the video of the girl walking to her apartment home, only to be be snatched up by her former coworker?
    Or the woman who was hit by a man with a brick when she rejected him and all the other men just stood by and didn't help?
    Please try not to "both sides this," it is solely the killer's fault and that is that.

    as a girl from utica area ... this doesn't Suprise me at all 2 things about this area I can tell you after 30 yrs here
    1. if you fight and beat the bricks off someone in NY as long as you don't have a weapon it's a misdemeanor and can tell you from experience because of this cop's wont norm even charge you that unless you keep at it after they split you up
    2.state doesn't prosecute DV crimes unless its a felony and as previously state "fist fighting in ny is a misdemeanor" so if you have a dv situation that involves no weapons the state wont press charges the victim has to which rarely happens so crimes against opposite sex happen ALOT norm by repeat offenders
    people feel more and more free to do violent things as they get away with prior ones
