Car Wash Salem Ohio Mod Wash [ASMR]

- Quick video showing the new "Mod Wash" in Salem, Ohio. I paid for a more expensive wash and didn't think it did a very good job at all. Lots of soap was left on my car, and didn't seem like it cleaned the rims and tires as well as others that are more affordable.
I enjoyed the lights and bells and whistles and so did my dogs who were surprisingly quiet the whole time. I know some people enjoy these type of videos, I hope you do to.

The carwash is a holy place of solitude, two minutes of being just by yourself, still and relaxed, just listening to the machine and the water and the dryer enveloping you, taking care of you really. A time for mental escape to far off lands or for reflection. The carwash is a taste of the divine on this mundane plane until we are returned to the great gas station in the sky.

I always love taking the car to a car wash because of the asmr… even as a kid, before I knew what asmr was, I loved going with my parents because I found it so relaxing 😌

Yess this could be a whole series. Id definitely watch a whole playlist. The carwash was my happy place as a child, when my mom would drive us thru I'd feel totally zen. ❤

As an automotive detailer, those grungy brushes E Honda hand slapping the shit out of your paint made me cringe.

Usually more foam means less scratchies on surface. Also since the car wash system is a new install, they might need to do some more fine tuning for each step…
But yes, I know that problem too that not all spots are that well cleaned. My Volkswagen Polo has some tiny edges especially around the Headlights and the bottom front grille where the brushes of machine car wash can't get in well enough. Also Door frames and tailgate, since I better keep them closed during wash 🤿😉. Surprised you left the side mirrors sticking out. I always fold them in for machine car wash. They have quite the strong fans in there - made your wipers dance and I think they are going with cloth brushes instead of plastic ones.
And the Rims - yeah that's also a thing worth hand-clean, since they can be quite baked. From what I found it also depends on the design. High-Pressure cleaner can't be firing that hard there, since it would damage the rubber of the tires.
Also the cleaner chemicals would need a bit more time to sink in, than it usually gets in the machine carwash.
I mean e.g. my spray on rims cleaner from Sonax working fine, but it takes 3-5 minutes to wait (it turns from almost clear to red color, when it is ready) before you are supposed to wash it off.
The one I go to, which I plan on filming, does a wonderful job on the rims and wheels. I'll make sure I show you a before and after of it.
Yeah these types of carwash aren't as thorough in my experience, I prefer the classic ones you drive your car into, get out and watch on from outside.
That said, I see people saying these drive thru one's are quicker and there's less wait time.

I feel so clean! The touchless car washes are okay but this is definitely my preference. Am definitely going to try this car wash next time I am in the area … or better yet, is 37 miles too far to drive just for a car wash? Hmmmmmmm
there are two drive thru car washes now in Salem right next to each other within eye sight you can spot them. And another one in downtown area.
There must be a LOT of dirty cars in Salem. 😊
