I think Iroh was a (spiritual) avatar in some way. He left the circle of hatred that has engulfed his nation and found peace, a way to negotiate the conflict and pave the way to be better future.
Pavithra SuLa Iroh didn't die. He chose to leave his physical body and enter the Spirit World forever, I think it was when Tenzin was in his teenage years. His physical body however, is probably dead. Kinda like how Ai Wei is trapped in the Fog of Lost Souls, I bet he's still at the Misty Palms Oasis, xD
You know... this parts of this theme really would fit a scene in Legend of Korra. Imagine it; Kuvira's invading the United Republic of Nations. Korra and the Krew are trying to hold off the invading army to give civilians a chance to escape. Too many odds even for Korra to take down with the Avatar State, but they have to hold or the collateral damage will be unbearable. They have to hold, even if it's a knowing suicide mission. The Krew standing together for what very well might be their final stand... Cue the Big Damn Heroes of every ally in reasonable range coming in to reinforce the team. URN forces, Fire Nation, Air Nomad, both Water Tribes, spirits who've inhabited the URN, and even Earth Kingdom survivors not willing to bow down to Kuvira's tyranny. Standing united against the so-called "Great Uniter" to make it clear to the world: They. Will. Not. Yield. The hard won peace that ended the Hundred Years War would not be lost to one power hungry maniac who abused her duty. Or if you like Greek Tragedy, they go down steadily, broken but unbowed, giving it their all in their finest hour... and buying enough time that whatever victory Kuvira has is but temporary as the above unified forces drop the banhammer on her. Either way...
Luke Danger "The Krew standing together for what very well might be their final stand…" hahaha…. final stand… did you post this before or after the finale?
Where iroh said "Goodbye everyone. Today, destiny is our friend. I know it!". That's before Aang, Katara, Zuko, etc leave the place of the white lotus. PS: Sorry for my english, i'm german.
Thurman Ulrich you wish, it's sad you lower your self to such inappropriate language just to try and bring someone down, or to start an argument. . To bad I'm not low enough to argue with you.
Thurman Ulrich Boom Baboom Why are people mean to anyone who comments "first" it's not really offensive or anything so I dont know why people lash out at those that do
“It’s time for you to look inward and begin asking yourself the big questions:
Who are you, and what do you want?”
+chidori8291 And, of course, "Why are you here?" and "Do you have anything worth living for?"
"Is this the path that you have chosen for yourself or the path another has made you follow?"
Probably one of the most memorable things about the original show's finale was it's epic soundtrack.
"Do you know how I got the nickname, The Dragon of the West?"
Yep.
"Its more of a demonstration, really."
Along with Zuko, the best character in the Avatar universe. Great soundtrack!
"She's crazy and she needs to go down"
Iroh is one of the best characters i've encountered in a movie/game/anime....
"What are you going to do after the war, uncle? "
"I'm going to reconquer my tea shop and I'm going to play pai sho everyday!"
THE FEELS
I wonder if Iroh ever thought he would be around to consult the next Avatar.
well I don't know if you watch Legend of Korra, but in his own unique way, he does!!!

hahaha…. final stand…
did you post this before or after the finale?

Today destiny is our friend, i know it!! :")
Iroh, I feel like he was based off Jesus and a highly skilled warrior. One the best characters in the avatar universe!
I this video was going to be important like all of his videos
Well I'm disappointed; there was no speech whatsoever.
i tought he would speak?
WHEN IN THE LAST EPISODE DID THIS PLAY I CANT FIND IT
Where iroh said "Goodbye everyone. Today, destiny is our friend. I know it!". That's before Aang, Katara, Zuko, etc leave the place of the white lotus. PS: Sorry for my english, i'm german.
I'm so sad of Mako in 2:50
Why he died :(
the picture you used gives me nightmares
Puppet iroh
i have found you so late
Who drew this Picture?
this isn't from the official soundtrack right? because it doesn't seem to be in the album with 35 of the avatar aoundtracks
I think it's a variation of one the tracks in the album. Slightly changed to a more ambient style.
when was this in the series??
this music plays in the 3rd book 4 part finale when Iroh is telling them that they can do this, even if Aang isn't around. It's an excellent scene.
Which episode was this in?
Its couple of episodes actually, but mist of it comes from the OLD Masters, the episode when Zuko and others find Iroh near the Bacing Se
@@ulvihajili3222 the last 3 episodes
I dont get it >
