I rolled Nova recently as I said, and gosh wouldn't it be silly if I did something as give up a really good leader to use with her? *hanging myself emoji*. I guess It doesn't matter much since I'd need a duplicate Nova for a sub but I will never forgive myself for not reading Haibol more carefully
I think a lot depends on the context... but currently it's difficult to think otherwise. 😅 Gouten is just a lot more flexible when it comes to subs and assists...
@@BiraPAD I guess so, but I still like Nova better since you don’t need a damage void piercer skill, and you barely have to worry about weakened orbs either. That said, barbed orbs are still a pain, but matching 9 water or light orbs together without making a DVP square is a fantastic way to stall. That’s how I get past Fujin/Raijin in Gokrex’s dungeon.
@@hankpeterschmidt8626Gouten has a VDP so he doesn’t struggle with void damage shields and two subs that help with orb generation, Whiskeel and Sakura Miku who is essentially a free unit, plus Gouten has no struggles with healing, you could run into enemies that outdamage Nova’s healing, assuming you have everything in the game then Nova is 100% better but for most players Gouten is better since Nova has leader issues, you need a combo adding leader like Haibol and if the combo shields are 12+ then you want combo orbs or a 7x6 leader that you swap out, team building for Nova is insanely restrictive but his potential is way higher than Gouten, the optimal team requiring limited event cards like Daiginjou, Haibol or Beerdon is not a great look, Gouten does want that Zoldyck family’s watchdog as an assist which is a collab unit but it was exchangeable and if you pull multiple Goutens then you can use his assist evo on Gouten, Nova wants Zenitsu’s sword but he can’t use his own assist form since it doesn’t change types

With one Nova you can still create very strong teams... as long as you rolled with some luck during the Bartender event! 👌

There's a team with THREE Novas that can complete the dungeon in under 9 minutes... 😱😱😱
