A bonus video as I catch up on stuff now that I have completed How to Hebrides. The review of the Adria Twin will be next (in a few days) so stay tuned!
Andrew, is it remotely possible, at the next big RV/Caravan show you attend, that you might get a chance to compare the comfort of utility of living in an Airstream Carravan to whether all those well arranged utilities that make living comfortable IN an Airstream, actually equally exist in a top of the line Carathago RV? The Carrathago looks very luxurious inside, and the seating LOOKS very comfortable (although, you'd have to sit in it to know), but I can't find any tour that covers whether the superior, beautifully done functionalities that exist in Airstream's that you describe so well, even exist in a top of the line Carathago RV. They don't even cover whether they have that excellent grill and oven combo like your Airstream has. Or the type of heating, & etc. (It seems they are getting more of those improvements in the Adria.) What is the best guide of RV/Caravan resale values? The Carathagos look very luxurious on the inside, but from the outside look, somehow I get the impression they might not be that strong, and may quickly depreciate in value, compared to a well maintained Airstream NOT depreciating in value. ❤
Indeed, never quite complete without our Dougal......You mentioned that the single front window was for the Danish market rather than 3 windows typically Brit. Based on your experience perhaps you could run through sometime how design and style features for vans/caravans differ between the various markets/countries.
Thanks Andrew. A very interesting variant compared to our 573UP. We have the all-around seating at the front and a "bar" between that and the kitchen. This new layout gives a more open feeling like we had in our old caravans. The bedroom and toilet are the same except we have an extra wardrobe over the foot of the bed. I love the new door which is even wider than the wide door we have. Excellent review, as always :-)
Hello, do you think we need additional mirrors when towing with something like a vw multivan or a ford tourneo custom ? Apparently you don't have additional mirrors on your skoda kodiaq.
Not having a shelf by the bed, would be a deal breaker for me, especially in a French bed, wouldn't want to have to clamber over partner to have to put book/cup/glasses etc, somewhere else. Very shortsighted of Adria. However, the front end looks very nice. I love the seating layout, and the hidden TV, and the corner shelves. Lovely to see Dougal at the end, so happy to see you.
@@flybyairplane3528 he did show the front! He opened the front locker to show that even with a gas bottle, there was still plenty of storage, he also put his foot on the A-Frame to show that you can stand on it to wash the caravan, and anyway, you can see the front in the thumbnail picture before the video starts. Maybe watch it again?
I do think Adria would do well to trial the notion of the L-shape Lounge for UK but keep the more usual sleeping arrangements at the back (island bed or twin). Colorado has been our choice as we have the choice of twin or double depending on our guests! Choices, choices. Can't wait to pick it up in a few weeks! Thanks for all your info about Adria over the years. Helped us to know what we were looking at!
A "clean aesthetic" doesn't trump convenience and livability, unless you're an arrogant SOB (hello, Adria designers, how you doin). I do like the layout, a gripe I have with many mobile living solutions is just the livability of it. This one is great, the daily living up front and the bed in the back works for me.
I'd love an Adria. Wonder if they will start putting the larger/flexible table in the middle instead of one of those "bring it out the cupboard" tables. No idea why caravans cannot get those tables that some motorhomes have - that move side to side, extend, go up and down - that way if we want to use a laptop, or eat, or push it out the way, it would all be possible without the need to put a table up and down.
Hello, ANDREW, I had subscribed for a long time, but never commented until now, when you said a ‘CARAVAN’ I expected to see a TRAILER’, but this is a MOTOR VAN,,or an RV, anyhow, I do like the DOUBLE GLAZING, temp & noise reduction, My windows in our home are double glazed, Cheers from NJ USA
Hi Leighton, sorry for the confusion but this is a 'trailer' as called in the US. In the UK we call them caravans. You know what they say, separated by a common language :)
I just lllooovvvee the lighting! And the U shaped seating is perfect , along the windows!?! Heaven! But,,,,why haven't they thought of drop down shelves by the bed, like the drop down sink? Should I just send them a little note? And the floor in the bathroom would drive me crazy wiping it out every time someone stepped on it! All in all, I love the floorplan, and the kitchenette. And the windows. And the colors (or lack of colors). And of course, the guide holds a special place, I miss you!
Just bought the Adria 583LP here in sweden Paper signed 11th of August . Can’t wait for next spring. When we Will get it( Cause of problem where to keep it when not using it) Fel in love with it when we Saw it. 💗
Thanks Andrew..love Adria..can you take Here we Tow with you next time, the three of you would be brill..and Dougal and Fudge. Maybe a tour of Slovenia in a caravan and Motorhome.
Hi Andrew thanks for the peek, like the head rest and the bed option, not so keen on the combo shower, though it's better than any thing down under has to offer, love your music, (sorry can't spell their name with out butchering it) use to follow Bay City Roller (showing my age) LOL super vid as always thanks for your share until next time
Hi Andrew. Agree 100%. What a fantastic layout ! For me, continental van layouts always seem more appealing (and aesthetically more pleasing with the door on the offside!) and I do hope the french bed (complete with shelves) make a return t vogue UK layouts soon. Great video buddy
Thanks Tony. I must admit, I find it slightly maddening that all the UK manufacturers all jump on board with the same layouts as each other. Then when one changes to something, the rest follow suit... :-/
Thumbs down? I can't think of a single thing that was offensive or horrible in this perfectly nice video, really, thumbs down? Slovenia, single axle, Easy Jet, blue lake water, Danish, what? April, was that it? You thumbs down people don't like April???? Whatever. You thumbs down people are strange.
Ha ha! Cheers Mannuel. It says more about the people who do it - obviously very sad people who would rather try and spoil somebody's creation because they are too lazy or unskilled to make their own. Thanks for your support.
Please bring these to the US Adria. We need more of this clean, sleek style over here. So sick of the beige and brown patterned old RV-styled seats and ugly walls. Oh, don’t get me started. Ha.
Hello, Is Adria generally better than Knaus in terms of quality? I hesitate between this adria and Knaus Südwind 650 PXB 2019 ua-cam.com/video/7A-TYhF2FgQ/v-deo.html. What is your personal preference between kitchen at the front or the lounge area and why?
Nothing really much difference from previous years. Just small changes. Also with just one axle, it must have a terribly low gross weight and you’d need to be very careful with your loading to stop any fishtailing.
Just saying, if you do charge your phones in your room close to you while you're sleeping you definitely need to learn a bit about the radiation emitted by charging batteries. What an unnecessary health risk, just put that thing charging in another room for christ sake.
Well Mr. My take on the aesthetics is that their clientele are intelligent enough not to need their phones in the evening. And also not as lazy as the caravaners in the UK ( I won’t say Europe because there are people out there that don’t think we should be in it!) hard to believe I know. And so they wouldn’t dream of doing such a slovenly thing as to drink liquids whilst on their phones in bed! I shudder to think! But then we are becoming a small and tiny country again and so this time around we won’t even be noticed! ENOUGH HE SAYS!!! 😂😂😂 Well any way who needs a shelf when they have a partner to lean all those things on cos let’s face it. They are about as useful as that. No need to reply! 😈😈😈

Just for a second I thought we weren't going to get Dougal! Looked really happy to have you back.
I sat in an Adria Alpina recently, and those head rests are amazing and add enormously to seated comfort.
Lounging is so important in my book! Like you say Simon, they make all the difference.
Hi, Andrew Ditton! It looks like your mom got a beautiful new dog that gets along happily with Dougal. Is that so? ❤
Sneeky peeky.
Relaxing in dream world.

What a BRILLIANT idea! I might just do that in the future, thanks for the inspiration :)
Loved the lounge and it looked alright without the side windows. Still not keen on the pull down sink though. Thanks P&J
Thanks Andrew for a very good review about caravaning ! Big kisses from France 😘
Merci mon ami!
Very Good Andrew, just realized that we did not see the Trademark while you did the OH series! Good to see it again!
Yes, I wanted to give it a different feel. Back to normal now :)

Cheers Karl, glad you found it interesting! All the best my friend.
Shame we aren’t getting this layout it’s fab.
I'm with you Pauline!
Beautiful! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Adria are at the top of their game in interior design and layout . UK manufacturers really could take a few lessons from them !
This is fabulous! We have nothing sleek beautiful, comparable in US! Send them over HUGE market!!
Hello, do you think we need additional mirrors when towing with something like a vw multivan or a ford tourneo custom ? Apparently you don't have additional mirrors on your skoda kodiaq.
For the bedside lack of shelving issue, you could open one of the overhead lockers and use part of that?
Yes, that's an option indeed. Although maybe not with hot drinks ;)
I think it’s a brilliant layout, different, good to see something new,
Love the layout as well. It's absolutely gorgeous! 😊👍🏼

Covered in Paint , but if he SHOWED THE FRONT, I would NOT HAVE ASKED, CHERRS , FROM NJ

I don't like how the oven is next to the fabric sofa. Couldn't they have swapped the kitchen area around?

@Leighton Samms there's no motor in this caravan, it needs to be towed. Andrew even showed the towing A-frame.
Hi Leighton, sorry for the confusion but this is a 'trailer' as called in the US. In the UK we call them caravans. You know what they say, separated by a common language :)
Love it,, is it available in USA??
Sadly not, unless you buy in Europe and have it shipped and converted yourself.

Oh wow, congratulations! You were REALLY quick off the mark! I hope you enjoy it.
@@andrewjditton think we will . fell in love with it almost at first entry in to it.
We've just brought a brand new Alpina 663 UK - German Market. The build quality, finnish and design is top drawer - an absolute dream of a van :-)
Excellent! Enjoy it, Richard!
Your films are terrific Andrew, even for a none caravan person such as I. However you're making them seem VERY attractive!
Cheers Peter! Hope you're well.
Hello, where is this danish camping ?
Very nice - love the look, thanks for sharing.
I wish that the good people working at Adria in Slovenia would start exporting trailers/caravans to The USA and Canada
Brilliant video, Andrew. Wait, was Dougal SMILING at the end!?!
Do you think we can install cinderella toilets instead?
Can you advise me on a small four or two berth caravan max weight of 1200kg please..
Pete Crabby I Don’t know about 1200 but under 1350 - Bailey Unicorn Vigo....excellent if leak is cured.
Thanks Andrew..love Adria..can you take Here we Tow with you next time, the three of you would be brill..and Dougal and Fudge. Maybe a tour of Slovenia in a caravan and Motorhome.
Ooh, that sounds like a plan! Although I think I'll volunteer to do the cooking on that tour! ;@)
how much are they?
Looks like a nice caravan Andrew
What a sleek caravan!
Thanks for the reunion with Dougal video at the end. Did Mum get a new dog? Continued safe travels!!
Yes, that is Bradley, Mum's rescue Cockerpoo :)
That scenery is fantastic! Caravan looks good. Do you think Dougal and his cousin were pleased to see you?
Great production as usual, more waffle please we love it
I've enough waffle to open a Pancake House... :)
Love it😘! 😱 I agree with the rules : No Drinks, No Phones in the Bedroom 😂 ! 🤗
So beautiful lucky who had one .

LOOKS nice but will have to see actual product and price before seeing if it has value.
Very nice caravan. Peter
Smugly thinking how much nicer my Alpina Colorado is ☺️
Wet room equals no-no. Period.
I like much of the rest but remain to be convinced that the layout will work. Some clever technology though.
Hi Andrew. Agree 100%. What a fantastic layout ! For me, continental van layouts always seem more appealing (and aesthetically more pleasing with the door on the offside!) and I do hope the french bed (complete with shelves) make a return t vogue UK layouts soon. Great video buddy

It is very nice
