- Hi everyone!
I will never have enough of this Kirin going on wild tangent about the things she's been reading or learning about.
It gives me life.
Take care, and have an excellent day, everyone!

Have a pleasant day/evening everyone, and take care of yourself.
her asmr is nice but I could honestly sit here for hours listening to fauna ramble endlessly about nerdy things like space, biology and nature or Food prepping and life advice. Fauna has just such a great voice to listen to
Teachers teaching: im literally sleeping
Fauna teaching: Focus 100
@@RequiemMasses I think it boils down to the fact that Fauna talks with such enthusiasm about the stuff that she’s interested in, while teachers are often monotonous and repetitive. I don’t blame them, as they’ve probably repeated the same sentences hundreds of times. But it’s still very hard to care if the educator seems to not care either.
I love how nerdy Fauna is
Fauna casually taking over Sana’s job.
With Fauna taking over Sana's parts in Rise in Connect the World, I have to agree.
Well....Fauna is the queen of Nature, and Mars is Natural, therefore, Fauna is guardian of Mars also. She just finishing the Earth "project" first.
lol someone should tell her we have no explanation for certain methane detections in Mars air samples, wherever these bacterial colonies are down in the subsurface they might be macroscopic and surprisingly extensive. this may come to be a common feature of celestial bodies in general, for instance Enceladus's southern "ice veins" are suspiciously colorful
She is become Sauna
@@bobmcguffin5706 underrated comment 😂
I was so happy when I found out Fauna was a physics girly. She's just like me fr fr.
This is why Fauna and Kiara are my favorites; adorable nerdy tangents
I love space tuff too and yes, its super cute watching her nerd out about Mars
theres tuff in space ??
@@LuNa_097 given how many exoplanets there are out there in the universe, there most likely is indeed tuff in space
The crazy part is that, thanks to Minecraft, there is an actual word called ‘tuff’ and it is a porous rock.
Regolith is what I’d think of, instead.
@@FiredAndIced ??? Tuff long predates Minecraft, the first use of the word was in 1815
@@FiredAndIced wtfdym thanks to minecraft💀 bro is the type of kid to say naruto is from fortnite💀
She's a nerd but she's our nerd
How pleasant it is to hear somone you used to know for other stuff, suddenly starts speaking about what you love with enthusiasm❤
She wants there to be water on Mars so she can can take over with her greenery. Like ego and his galactic flowers.
Fauna hoping we find the Venom symbiote.
I adore when she goes on a nerdy tangent 🧑🔬🥰
Fauna getting ready for Starfield
Wait until she finds out about one of Jupiter's moons Europa unless she already knows.
I think she knows!
A few days ago she even mentioned playing Barotrauma, a game in which you play as the crew of a submarine operating in Europa's oceans and have to help with faction stuff and survive the hostile fauna
I doubt we'll ever get a stream of her playing it but that'd be lovely
I took a shot every time I heard the word "cool".
💀💀💀
Rest in peace brave Sapling.
Gigantic volcanos, and underwater oceans. If complex life has ever thrived on Mars, I think we can all assume what happened to our neighbors 😬
I mean technically if we end up teraforming Mars that would mean nature would come to Mars right?
Fauna must be protected at all costs
If there is other life in the universe I really hope they have someone like Fauna, their equivalent of Fauna, to heal them.
Talking about viruses made me think of water on mars from Dr. Who. Let's hope that's not what we find
Space is Sooooo coool so coooool
This reminds me of when I met my ex back in high school. She was quiet when around me but I found out what she likes and opened up like this, good memories of high school
That was f*cking magical 😮
Wait, Fauna is reading Robert Zubrin books? That's cultured af.
Edit: And the editor too, who knows about the hexagonal diffraction spikes, vs the 4 way ones on the Hubble images.
I'm a huge science nerd too so Fauna going on nerdy tangents is a treat I cannot refuse lmao
Heh, love it when Fauna goes nerdy science mode.
Mars is mostly Ice.
Cold and Ice. Unless someone melts the ice caps.
i really liked her nerding about science😊
I found my oshi... wow. This. This...
Still kfp, but if Fauna keeps nerding out about these topics I might become a sapling
Why not both? 🤝
My oshi is Kronii, but I watch everyone in EN, especially Fauna, but I never refuse a good ol' Chimkin stream when I need a dose of mental caffeine!
Finding out an anime girl on the internet has read Robert Zubrin is one of those things that makes me question what timeline we're living in
Jupiter or Thor is perfect. We need Atlas for our Long distance stuff. The Titan will be even better. They shouldn’t have canceled Navaho. Wait to you see our submarines with Polaris.
HEY HEY HEY FAUNA.
Space photography stream when
I know right? NASA even has an "Astronomy Picture of the Day" website that has been posting daily since June 1995!
She could look up some viewer's birthday pic or whatnot with a lottery of sort
Or just check out the ones that sound good to her
@@slowberryvtuberclips that's a great idea. I'll have to check that out
Mars lost its atmosphere due to a lack of dynamo effect, basically it doesn't have an iron/metallic core... meaning it couldn't shield itself from solar radiation eventually removing the atmosphere.
This is an outdated theory. Venus has no magnetic field yet it’s atmosphere is 400x more dense than Earth’s. Mars is simply too tiny to hold onto a habitable atmosphere. A magnetic field does do something but it’s such a small effect. It’s more important for radiation shielding than protecting the atmosphere.
Sana is Eternal 🪐
Fauna and Dr. Becky collab when?
Fauna and Markiplier would make a fun duo
Insert picture of Fauna walking with Earth while checking out Mars walking past her, lol.
If I was any smarter that would have been my thumbnail lmao
Mother nature looking at a lifeless planet: im boutta TERRAFOOORM
LOL
I would love if Fauna made a segment about her scientific pursuits a regular thing. Her enthusiasm explaining these subjects is absolutely wonderful. Blessed content.
That'd be amazing.
I have a few clips on the way about the limits of maths and theoritical physics, the possibility of life in the universe, the honey fungus, polar bears and lions and some other stuff though, and will try my best to clip every nerdy tangent so keep an eye out for this!
This Is why fauna is one of my favs, wish more vtubers talked about space in lengths.
what a nerd (i've watched tons of mars videos and documentaries too)
Confirmed, Nature wants to spread to Mars. Time to plant some Marsian saplings, boys.
Terraforming lets goooo
Let's plant a small garden on Moon and around it first, easier to launch saplings from there
@@Nabekukkatheirs actually a deceptively simple idea for terraforming the planet. The two biggest issues are the ice and the thin atmosphere, the atmosphere is so weak water vapor can’t be trapped and the ice is so cold it would skip straight to a gaseous form rather than water. The idea to terraform would be to intentionally induce Global Warming. This would creat a thick atmosphere, slowly melt the ice and naturally create a rain cycle then it’s just a matter of seeding the planet and letting nature take its course by the time it’s over the plants will have strengthened the atmosphere on its own and create a livable biosphere. The idea to how to do this is very simple we just nuke the planet, the nukes would quickly and easily throw the planet into global warming then we launch probes with the purpose of just carpet bombing the planet with seeds of all kinds.
fun fact the Pillars of Creation might not exist anymore. The Pillars of Creation are about 7000 light-years away from Earth, meaning we're seeing it as it was 7000 years ago. It's theorized that a supernova occurred in the vicinity and wiped out the Pillars of Creation 6000 years ago, so in about 1000 years humanity might witness their destruction (if humanity is still alive to see it of course)
For those interested, NASAs current plans for Mars sample return make it the most complex and ambitious remote robotics mission ever attempted. Involving the Perseverence rover already on Mars and a future lander and orbiter, absolutely insane stuff.
It’s also likely to be canceled as it’s already way over budget and barely started.
Only Fauna could make me listen to her go on tangents about space.
Sana would be proud if she didn't graduate.
If I remember it right, she has Sana as an off stream contact
In the words of Markiplier
"SPACE IS SO COOL!"
My computer can't handle the rendering!
damn beat me to it
"oh that's so-o coo-oo-oo-oo-ool"
i like to imagine fauna as a mother earth and mars is also a person out there then Sana is just going "humu humu"
Totally understandable. Mars needs moms after all.
Listening to fauna talking about Mars felt like watching a science youtuber. She is one of my favorite vtubers cause she takes the rol of a scientific researcher from time to time
Nerdge (affectionate), Man I Love Fauna
Theres gotta be life on mars at this point.
If there wasn't any there before, theres GOT to be some random ass bacteria or microbes that piggybacked on all the shit we've launched over there from earth. Who knows how fast it'll grow or what it'll evolve into in the future.
Such a cool place! Worse climate than in Antarctica (-70 C° in summer in Equator!), constant radiation from Sun and space, and no life in the nearest 1 500 000 km. Does it need Nature on it? Sure, cause its still a cool place!
Still sounds much better than Paris to be quite honest!
"All we ever see of the stars are their old photographs".
Markiplier liked this video.
Ironmouse disliked this video.
Douglas Quaid watched this video.
Samuel Hayden saved this video in a playlist: “References”.
DooM Slayer has reported this video for violating terms of service, leaving the following elaborations, verbatim: “discussing the unholy garbage can; literally tempting fate; demented planet-based sex appeals with regards to ‘taller mountains’ and ‘deeper valleys’.
when she playing kerbal?
Thank you fauna for talking about space with chat. You have made my day so much better! You gave me the energy to go to my volunteering job. I will possibly visit your stream and donate $100 as a thank you. Thank you truly for sharing your interest in space with chat.
HA! NEEEEEEERDD!!! (Good job Fauna, stay cool and curious! 😎)
2:42 could exist on this Earth but foolish and curious hoomans are looking at the star while their space ship is literally on fire
And we know more about space than the ocean thats crazy to me i mean literally Atlantis could have existed since waves are higher than the theoretical limit that the scientists said
Fauna not having existential dread of Great Filter despite knowing possibility of life on Mars... shows how she really is manifestation of nature. She def. ain't a human reaction for sure LOL
Well, maybe we are the next candidate on the list
'thats not a conspiracy theory.' I mean have you *seen* Mars?
Space is cool
I’m more interested in Venus than Mars but unfortunately its atmosphere is too thick to study effectively.
isn't Venus like a hellscape though
@@YayaFeiLongScientists speculated that, if floating cities are a thing, the upper part of the Venusian atmosphere might be habitable enough to have manned settlements.
@@FiredAndIced fair enough
Cool intelligent stream!! I love science so i want to hear science topics from oshi. HAPPY Fauna please more lecture 🙏
知的なお姉さん大好きです💕
I've got a few more clips of Fauna talking about nerdy stuff like maths or intelligent life in the universe so I hope you'll like these too when they come out!
i love when fauna is nerdy
And Ollie for the maths...
@@SeleniumGlow That reminds me I still need to clip Ina going wild with maths for a BotW temple lmao
@@slowberryvtuberclips Didn't know Ina was doing science and maths on stream too. I look forward to your clip.
Pretty much sounds like a person who just starting to get into things theyre find interesting...
“I feel like I’ve been sleeping on Mars.”
Damn must be chilly 🥶
Honestly, even if Fauna wouldn't be able to go into super in-depth commentary about things in space, her knowledge I seems to be on the level that she would be able to entertain those of us that also know this stuff already even if we don't exactly learn anything new, but there are a lot of people who are not space geeks or haven't really considered how stuff in space works so I should expect there to be people who will have their minds blown.
The universe... what a concept
I like the idea that Mars has its own Fauna if it has life on it. She would be red instead of green. She would be jagged and robust instead of pretty and cute. She would have a very sharp, electronic voice instead of soft and gentle.
PRAISE THE OMNISSIAH
Did someone say David Bowie?
Don't go on the Elon Musk Rocket.
I believe SpaceX is up to 30 people carried on the Crew Dragon capsule. NASA trusts them.
Nerd Fauna = best Fauna
What do you get if you put Peanuts in Mars?
Snickers.
I hate that I laughed at that lmao
hey man i just want you to know this clip is the reason i checked fauna out more and how she became my kami-oshi 💯💯💯
Thats like the best kind of result I can hope for with these clips, ahah!
Thanks for the kind words and I hope you keep enjoying this silly Kirin's shenanigans!
I prefer Ceres, personally.
Very cool
2:00 luckily being that viruses are evolved makes them highly dependent on the genetic structure of the species they evolved with. even if panspermia was true and life on earth was initiated by genetic code from space rather than result of mutated primordial protein soup, the amount of evolution that happened since then would likely render extraterrestrial virus ineffective.. I mean initially anyway, I guess it could find a way to evolve to be compatible if allowed to survive long enough
Total Recall (the good one) watchalong when?
Space is so cool!
I love how she elongates the subject she's talking about in her sentences. I could listen for hours to her talking about Maaarrrs
Fauna is me but like fr
Most relatable Kirin in the West.
We all need nerf friends or nerd hobbies or nerd entertainers or whatever.
Whenever someone having interest on space, i always remembered Markiplier's space song lol
🤝
For fiction science books, try and read Hail Mary if reading or cool stories are your point of interest
earth found an oshi lol
I love when fauna 🤓's
she should play Doom
I recently re-read The Case for Mars and remembered this clip. It's funny how Fauna says things changed a lot since the 90s, but in space terms, they really didn't. The funniest part for me was when the author described a proposed Shuttle derived rocket called Ares, with 4 RS-25 engines, and 2 of the space shuttle solid rocket boosters and an RL-10 powered upper stage. Which is exactly what SLS is and that only launched in 2022, nearly 3 decades after the book was written.
For context about the height of that mars volcano: to us, mountains with an elevation anywhere over 20,000 ft are EXTREMELY high altitude and easily require an oxygen mask here on earth. I think the altitude at the peak of Everest is around 29,000 ft and Everest from base to peak is roughly 15,000 ft. Keep in mind as well that an altitude of 4,000 ft is already considered high elevation and most mountains in the Blue Ridge/Appalachian range are around that elevation at the top. 4,000 ft is enough to make your ears pop. Olympus Mons on Mars peaks at an altitude of 72,000 ft, and its base is located right on the planet’s datum (similar to our sea level, basically elevation-zero) so base to peak is also 72,000 ft. I wanted to put that into perspective a bit because it’s mind blowing to me thanks for listening bye
Fauna: Mars is SO COOL! It has water, and could have life, and a-and humans might go there soon, and there's mountains and canyons, and-
Earth: Am I a joke to you?
Man I hope Fauna and Ame can collab and talk about nerd stuff someday, they're both very intelligent and charming
Where does she think Iofi comes from?
Fauna made life on Mars, she just forgot about it.
Being 4.5 billion years old will do that to ya.
would watch a fauna wikipedia readalong
Maarrs
Mars has also been stripped if its biosphere, which is why it's features seem so amazing. Take away Earth's oceans and suddenly Hawaii becomes the tallest mountain on earth
God she'd be an amazing friend
Cant believe i listened to Fauna babble about space for 11 minutes. Would do it again tho
Don't worry, I may or may not have:
Fauna polar bear and lions.mp4
Fauna honey fungus.mp4
Fauna Limits of Maths and Physics.mp4
Fauna Life in the universe.mp4
Sitting on my computer as we speak, that I'm planning on uploading in the next month or so 👀
I'll probably just make a "Fauna being nerdy" playlist eventually
@@slowberryvtuberclipsI look forward to that playlist😂
Nasa sign her up for the next space mission
Titan would be a cool place to visit, with all the Tolkien references. There is a cryovolcano called mount Doom, and the tallest mountain is Tanequetil.
The amount of cool is the exact opposite of the current situation on the surface of mars
It's not a surprise Mother Nature is sleeping on Mars, there is no Nature on Mars at the moment.
She likes to talk about space? I love that.
