- Finally upgraded my desk setup and I'm so in love with the outcome! Went for something minimal and practical, most items I got were pretty budget-friendly too :)

The shelf hack is amazing. Looks cleaner than literally any desk shelf I've seen under $200 USD

The best thing is, I am able to relate… I personally feel that my set up for studying is similar to this and I can wait to try these small and cheap things to make my study set up better:)

Hey queen, I have the same monitor its so good for the price. Best buy had a sale so it was only $160 or so with tax! So highly recommended for anyone who looking for a good monitor.
Is the monitor good for home work? Like office work. Sorry , I want a monitor and this one seems to be great for the price and everything. I just want some feedback.
@@moomin1649 YES! I actually bought it for school anyways so it made it easier for me to do my homework. I take online classes and my major is computer based so it really improved my productivity! The quality is pretty good too I was shocked tbh. Definitely buy it if they still have a sale going on!

Hello. I had the same caps lock button issues. He didn't work anymore so I went to the accessibility options and set it. So when it's on does a bip, when it's off does a bop lol
Love the way your Marshal speakers perfectly fits into the "foot of your screen" (sorry I don't know the word in English, i'm French 🤭)
I rely on the caps lock light on my laptop keyboard when I press it on the Logitech's. It takes getting used to, no doubt. By the way, I wonder how strong is the lamp clip hugging the monitor screen. Would it leave marks after awhile? I love the minimalistic setup, and can we talk about that idea of repurposing the Jenga blocks? Genius!
I downloaded the Logitech driver onto my laptop later on and now every time I press the caps lock button, there's an indication on the screen so that helps!
As for the screen light, my monitor is reeaally thin so the clip doesn't actually clamp tightly on my screen. It's really just sitting on top of it with the clamp acting as a "hook" without actually pressing onto the screen (not sure if this makes sense), so I don't think it would leave marks on my screen.
If you monitor bezel is thicker then this shouldn't be an issue!
I once saw this in my YT while scrolling then I accidentally refresh it so it has shown new vlogs along it, then really went looking for it but couldn't find it but now here is it agaiin! ❤️

Our setups are so similar, I purchased the 27inch version of the same monitor and am in absolute love with it! I'm debating getting a monitor riser to create a bit more surface space for me to work with, so this video was super helpful for me to see how I could potentially arrange my space.

Nice setup Kylie, but I have a suggestion for you. I have the same monitor (HP 24 mh, basically the same monitor with speakers) and the baseus monitor light bar, at first I stuck the light bar on the top of the monitor with its clamp like you do even though it obstruct the screen a bit. But when I was watching a movie, especially when it was showing a black background, I noticed the clamp is a little too strong for the monitor screen and it presses the screen and causes a bit of a light bleed. I was worried it would cause some damage to the monitor in the long run.
So I put a piece of plastic between the top of the monitor and the light bar so the clamp don't press against the monitor directly and stuck a heavy duty double sided 3M tape at the back of the monitor to the part of the light bar that is pushing against it, now the clamp doesn't obstruct the screen and more importantly it doesn't presses against the screen. Hope it helps!

It's strange because the clamp of the light isn't actually pressed tightly onto my screen because of how thin the monitor is! Even the most narrow adjustment on the clamp is too thick to be clamping on the screen so it's just resting on top, if that makes sense at all.
I actually like it that way because it sits well on the monitor but doesn't apply any pressure onto the screen at all!

Cool setup. But I don't recommend using macs in clamshell mode for long periods.
Rubber shield around my mac's screen started getting sticky/melting from heat after a year of use.
It leaves black imprints when closed for extended periods. Just a heads up.
ahhh! I was doing that with my old macbook a lot and I had no idea why the rubber was getting sticky! Thank you so much for this, will definitely keep this in mind!
