“Like a scene out of a romantic movie”
Swans: 🎺 🎺 🎺
They sound like those clown horns lmaooo
That’s why it’s called a trumpet swan
that one pigeon in the middle like "oops gotta get outta the way i don't wanna make this awkward"
Hadn't seen that. Had to go back and watch🤗
Pigeons are, btw one of the most promiscuous ones 😂😂😂😂
The animals that mate for life are so amazing to me. I'm glad she also stated they have feelings and emotions. I hate when people claim animals cannot feel anything emotionally ❣️😊
I so agree about the whole feelings aspect. We're alike in many ways, so it makes no sense to think we'd be different in that way.
P.S. Happily, they mate for life but if one sadly dies, the other often finds a new mate for life, rather than being alone thereafter.
@@a.w.thompson4001 its diffrent from shingleback skinks. Once their mate for life died, they stay alone forever.
Its so sad thinking about it, especially bc they often get overrunned by cars or one gets taken away from people who sell them illegally.
Must hurt so much...
I agree with all of you. Let me add this: artists in the past gave swan wings to angels, because they understood how these excellent birds live.
those are cold blooded people.... amphibians
@a.w.thompson4001 depends tbh we have geese and sometimes after their mate dies they don't mate again
Honestly, pretty cute coverage. We need more positive news 😊
You don't need more "positive" news, you need to actually do something about the difficult news.
@StrawmnMcPerson Aren't you just full of advice!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@StrawmnMcPersonah yes because the opioid crisis and the domestic violence epidemic are 100% in my personal control. Forgot I could change the world on a whim. Aren’t you bright?
Yes we do need more positive news.
I was thinking 🤔 the very same thing. We really do.
THANK YOU FOR RESCUING HIM! It's so sweet to see them back together! 🥰
It wasn't necessary. They stressed them unnecessarily. The wound would have just healed.
Not necessary!?! Which veterinarian college did you attend??🙄
Well, it definitely wasn't necessary to put those yellow plastic tags on its wings.
@@ls-l1518 Yes, but at the time they captured the wounded swan, they didn’t know the extent of its injury. Moreover, the wound could have resulted from a parasite or illness - or it may have become infected without attention.
Life out in the wild is full of stressors: Cars and trucks, competition for territory and food, predation by dogs, foxes and the like. It’s not as though wildlife enjoys a placid, serene existence battling the elements and struggling for survival.
It’s great that someone called this in and the swan had bloodwork done - so now we’re assured the pair can enjoy one another’s company for as long as possible.
I’m not crying , your crying….
How beautiful 💕
We're both Crying because this is truly one of the most beautiful things I've seen.
NOT crying, my eyes are just watering due to allergies (or something). 😊 Don't know why my heart suddenly feels too big for my chest, though. 🤔 🦢🦢❤
You're*
Oh I'm crying, I'll totally own it. Sweet happy wonderstruck tears. But I think the real question is why somebody wouldn't be...
I’m definitely crying!!
Our Volunteers had a great opportunity to record the reunion of these two Trumpeter Swans 717 (Charlotte) and Y37 (Mango) - We work with all wildlife at the park and when we sight an illness or injury with any of these animals, we will work closely with the Toronto Wildlife Centre (TWC) to get them back on their feet and released back into the wild again!!
PLEASE NOTE: Trumpeter Swans feed on aquatic vegetation and wild grasses in their natural environment!!
PLEASE "DO NOT" FEED THE TRUMPETER SWANS OR ANY OTHER WATER BIRD "BREAD" OR ANY OTHER "JUNK FOOD" THAT YOU MAY FIND IN YOUR HOME!!
BREAD AND JUNK FOOD HAVE LITTLE OR NO NUTITIONAL VALUE FOR SWANS OR ANIMALS - AND IF TOO MUCH BREAD IS FED TO BABY SWANS OR BABY WATER BIRDS, THEY MAY GET A DEFORMITY CALLED "ANGEL WING" CAUSED DIRECTLY BY BREAD AND BREAD PRODUCTS!! IN MOST CASES, THAT BABY WOULD HAVE TO BE EUTHANIZED AS IT WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SURVIVE IN THE WILD!!
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR NOT DOING THIS - TO KEEP OUR WILDLIFE HEALTHY AND STRONG!! 😊😊
Swans aren’t technically wildlife. They are European animals released here
But the wound was small, so the rescue was unnecessary, right?
@@ls-l1518How would they have known that the wound was small? And have you forgotten about infection? Even a small wound can lead to infection and/or blood poisoning, which can then lead to a painful and unnecessary death. This is pretty basic information, it's just common sense stuff.
@@louisejohnson6057 Animals have small scraps all the time. They must have seen that pretty fast. Let them be. Ridiculous. Do you go to the hospital for a small wound? If so, don't. They could have given him an antibiotica shot on site. You people seem pretty hysterical. There are many swans where I live, you think we take them in for days for a small scrap? If it's in hatching season, it's positively bad for them.
@@M_SC Nit picky. They are wildlife here, now.
A lovely story. The type of happy news we all need to hear more of.
I am glad they're finally together and happy 😊
aww they really do sound like trumpets 🎺, glad they had a happy reunion and there wasn't anything seriously wrong with the captured swan
I was kinda hoping for a epic sax/trumpet guy to come waltzing in having taken up the challenge from the trumpets but I suppose seeing two happy swans were nice enough too.
That's so darn beautiful 💘😭
MOST Animals are sentient beings. Thank You for Sharing this incredibly beautiful moment.
Absolutely 🩵
The problem is that some of us are more sentient than others.
@@brianbullivant1009 . It's only a problem if we don't recognize that fact and employ it to do well and good.
Well, Brian, that line reminds me of a super popular line from a popular book…
I believe you are right, except maybe single celled animals? I don't know about that.
In these difficult times this is so beautiful to see❤
AWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Oh so beautiful ❤ a reminder that animals feel too.
All animals are so special. Support your local wildlife rehabilitation center!!
All animals are so special; don’t eat (or wear) them!
Swans are also extremely protective parents and will aggressively chase and fight off animals much larger than themselves to protect their offspring. The male will often take an offensive stance and attack the predator, while the female will stay back with the babies vigilantly guarding them.
Indeed. And sometimes they even do it just to defend their territory, even if no chicks are there.
My father and I once were on a kayaking trip down the river Elbe in Germany and we encountered a swan who started to display threat signs from a hundred meters away. We slowly drifted down the river and the animal came towards us and then even took off to fly in our direction. We held up our paddles to defend ourselves in case he wanted to attack, but he thankfully landed again and just showed threat displays until we had left his turf. ^ ^
And when I was a child the swans on a small lake near my grandparents' house would put their heads through the fence and grab people's trousers. I was very afraid of them, but my father made it a game to grab their beaks and hold them close until the swans had enough and wanted to get away. 😂
They can be a bit dickish sometimes.
Peacocks are like this also.
I can vouch for their protectiveness. Many years ago, during a round of golf, I hit my ball into a water hazard which had a small island in the middle, where a pair of swans had their nest. When I tried to get my ball from the water, I was set upon. Then, the players in the group behind, who went nowhere near the water, were attacked even more emphatically. They are always majestic, even when they are angry.
Yes, like the swan episode in "Three Man in a Boat" by Jerome K. Jerome. So funny.
I lived next to a lake with swans. The lake went with the road we had to take everyday. It was not unusual for an angry swan to stop traffic there lol. I found the beavers more annoying, since they would, in the darkness, slap the water with their tail as a gunshot, spooked me countless times
They are so beautiful ❤️. Glad to see them together ☺️
Absolutely spectacular! Bless the rescuers for saving Mr. Swan! 🦢🤍🦢
Toronto is so fortunate to have to Toronto Wildlife Centre. They do amazing work!
Trumpeter Swans are absolutely stunning birds & they are deeply committed to their partner. The life saving rescue of one swan actually saved both of their lives! God bless our heroes!
The news report said that the swans injury was a cut on his beak. And yes, the Toronto wildlife centre do amazing work. We are so lucky to have them up here. This video is so lovely. It just makes you forget all the horror that’s going on outside right now, if only for a moment. We have swans in the park down behind my building and I go down and sit in my car and watch them from time to time. They are such gorgeous birds. Not always very friendly to people, but we’re not there to make friends with them we’re just there to enjoy them.
How touching ❤️❤️ We need to be more like swans.
Omg! So sweet! Who's cutting onions! 💜💜💜💜😭😭😭😭
Human! Remember...This Is Call 'Love for Life' 🥰 (Thanks for the Rescue Team )
always said animals were better then humans. They don't cheat, lie and their love is true.Very nice video.Thank you.
God created all living things! Thank God for his animals!!!
@@mireillepioger92 Same Here 👍👍👍. Cheers!
@@centuryhousegames733Good advice! 👍🏻👍🏻
Yea well I bet they have trust in each other , an incapable act for humans.
So glad they were able to record this!
SWAN: "THEY TORTURED ME BUT I SURVIVED THE HUMANS KIDNAPPING ME!!!"
Nah, they know when they’re helped, as all wildlife rescuers know.
@@lizziebkennedy7505 it was a joke
I have no words. Amazing. Beautiful. These ain't enough. It is just a privilege to see them talking to each other.
Best thing I’ve seen all week. It brought a wee tear to me eye.
Those happy wings🎉
Bless their hearts! 💖
I’ve been saying this for years that animals do have emotions. They express their feelings. I’m so grateful to see this. I always love this.
We have to realize, they are not 'dumb' animals, but living creatures with complex behaviors and emotions!
But we know.
Beautiful. More proof. Other species have a right to exist and live their lives in peace. Undisturbed by us❤
Beautiful
I hope nothing bad happens to them and will be together for life!
They sound like those bicycle horns we had on bikes and trikes when I was a child.
Their happiness and communion make me feel happy.
"I MISSED YOU, I LOVE YOU !!" ❤❤❤❤❤"Where the hell have you been ?"
I hope they get to live a happy healthy life together and people just leave them alone
This is beautiful yet rather fowl.
???
@@MikeHawkPEN15it's a pun. Lol.
Doesn't quite work because the story isn't exactly fowl.. it's really a good story, but still clever.
Touche.

Heart warming story!
That was worth trumpeting about!!!
Happy to see there is still some pure innocence in this hateful world.
Just beautiful! 🌟💖
ADORBS 💯❤swans. Beautiful creatures.
🎉Beautiful to see
Thank you so much for helping him and rescuing him for her.
Beautiful 😍
Thank you Sarah and Toronto Wildlife Center! Great video and appreciate you helping this pair of swans. Please donate!
aw... I love spring.
That is friggin adorable!❤
I love this!! Thank you! ❣
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS❤❤❤❤❤
These are the tales that need to be shared. News is always about doom and gloom.
But not all news has to be bad.

Made my day❤
Thank you for your work and capturing the beautiful reunion with the best possible outcome after the swan was found injured. A great illustration of the beauty of nature.
Soooooo cute beautiful 😍 💖
That's some sweet love. I should've married a swan.❤
Leda thought that was a good idea too.
They look the same. It’s amazing that they recognize each other
They look the same to YOU... 😉☺
We look the same to them
@@M_SCYou asked them?
@@M_SC Perhaps in general, but just as we can get to know & recognize a certain animal, they can do the same with us, generally speaking. Crows for instance...never, ever be mean to a crow. The entire flock will come for you.
Only to a limited small minded human.
What a heartwarming moment to witness! We must continue to learn from nature! Thank you for sharing this incredible moment!!
So amazing...beautiful. ❤🦢🦢❤
Thank you Toronto Wildlife Center for your amazing work! How wonderful! ❤
I love the Trumpeter Swans!
Well done for helping him and your kindness and understanding of animals..from France.
How beautiful is this?
Thank You for sharing!!
Swans mate for life and suffer terribly whilst apart.

Of course theyre talking to one another !! ❤
Swans mate for life, unlike humans.
@DestroyerOfLiberals
Speak for yourself.
Been with the same person since I was 15 and he was 16. Never loved anyone else, never will. Its been over 30 years now happy together and with luck we'll have 30 more at least. If one of us died, the other wouldnt remarry. Theres no one else in the world for either of us, but us.
And no, we arent people who think you should save yourself for marriage, believe in a any sort of religion or that we have some kind of morally ideal situation.
People have different lives, should be allowed to live how they choose and its just the way our lives are.
But completely monogamous people do exist. We're probably pretty rare, though.
22 years and still going strong for hubby and me. met at 19 never looked back. We both know there is no one else. We do exist =)

Beautiful ones...!! If only I could find someone who was that loyal and happy to be with me.
He’s in trouble. Lol.
“You got some splainin to do Mr!!
As with most swans, Trumpeters mate for life so this behaviour makes sense.
So beautiful this really moved me.
Bless you all!!! ❤
We need an animal speech translator app now. I need to know what they're saying.😀
Most likely a very passionate discussion about icecream in the Swan-variant of italian...
@kc3678 Yeah, I always say that we need an app to translate all animals' vocalizations!! We need to understand and communicate with the animals !! However, we might not always like what they have to say to us !!
I hope you didn't cheat on me.
romantic
I Cry everytime I watch this 😥 and I've watched it a lot of times because they make me feel so happy 🥰 they love each other 😘🥰
Love the reunion. I don’t believe the swan was”injured” swans have to pull out feathers & do bleed when doing so. I’m to understand on occasion this action can potentially cause a swan to bleed to death.
🥰 so BEAUTIFUL❣️ 🦢❣️
That is magical. Im touched. ❤
