Jewel in the Palace is my favorite K Drama TV series and this is my first time watching this since for ages. My favorite part of the series is cooking incredible food - a traditional Royal Korean food for the royals and I really loved the storytelling too. So iconic but very old as Gold.

I hope Historical KDrama can match the energy of this long, massive production again. This is so nostalgic i was around 7yrs old when i first watched this drama with my mother every evening we used to wait for it . During that time in India it used to be telecasted in the national channel Doordarshan , i remember my mother being all emotional in few of the scenes . I hope Historical KDrama can match the energy of this long, massive production again. I love Dae Jang Geum: Jewel in The Palace so much, it’s the first Kdrama I watch with my family and totally mesmerized by it. Great Queen Seondeok, Empress Ki, Dong Yi, they no longer produce these types of drama anymore.

@@einryms8335 그게 아니라 사극은 더이상 돈이 안되서 그럼. 사극은 굉장히 돈이 많이들어가는것에 비해 수입이 적어서 적자를 감수하고 만들어야함
@@einryms8335한국 역사는 매우 길고 기록도 풍부해서 소재는 넘침..그렇지만 제작비가 많이 들어가고 흥행 실패시 타격이 커서 잘 안만드는 거ㅋㅋ

This is so nostalgic i was around 7yrs old when i first watched this drama with my mother every evening we used to wait for it . During that time in India it used to be telecasted in the national channel Doordarshan , i remember my mother being all emotional in few of the scenes . Now i wanna rewatch it with my mother recollecting all the good memories of this drama .

We may be from different countries cultures believes but we are connected by this one beautifull drama. At that times most us watched it on our national channels of country who it become possible it is doubde in so many languages at same time is making me curios
