- You guys loved the first one so here's another website redesign!
BLACK FRIDAY SALE: 40% OFF ALL COURSES - bit.ly/3mj6LMk
This time around we redesigned a luxury candle e-commerce website. Their product is awesome (and looks great) but the website had quite a few problems, and felt flat overall.
So, we decided to improve the look, feel and copy of the website so that it matches the premium/luxury vibe that the product conveys.
Tools used for redesign: Figma and Adobe Dimension
Typefaces used: Orelo SemiWide and Monument Extended

Thanks for watching the video!
Man the 3D rendering gets me so hyped to learn it too!
For stuff like this it's really not as hard as it might seem!
Love seeing how you approach these redesigns, especially when you have no nice assets to work with, like with this website.
more redesigns please, these are great
Great redesign and great choice of typography and colour theme. Just one comment, I would probably use the actual logotype font for the logo (and also replace one of the two fonts with the brand’s font for consistency) in order to be aligned with the brand system. What are your thoughts on this?
Yes please make more videos like this one. I'm in your masterclass and the theory is already clear, but having concrete examples is so, so helpful!
These redesign videos are really helpful for me! Please keep making them!
I like the colors but I don't like that font so much, I think the font should be simple and elegant. It just my opinoin.
Actually, the font is where it’s make the different and feeling to this website. Font are shape that have personality too and the font choise in here is welll though and connectted to the product
@@ucoan2457 But don't you think for the customer it's hard to read and get dizzy by looking at this font.
@@ganeshanvekar5009 I don't think so, in real website it'll be big and bold, hard to ignore
Wow looks amazing
This redisign is awesome! I'm currently redisgning a honey shop and this is great inspiration!
That's great! Good luck!
The before and after is like day and night. Nice one 👍.
Btw , what is that don't you mainly use on your thumbnails (just wondering)
Yes, more such videos :D Thank you so much, this is teaching me A LOT!
Happy to hear that!😀
yes. would like to see more of these redesign. liked the video.
More to come!
Forgive me, but it doesn't work together. The logo on the product is different than on the website. The body typography is different than the one on the label. Head typeface may not be bad if used well in other sections of the page. The arrangement of the copy and products is messy, which makes the whole composition look chaotic. Navbar doesn't look very good either. To me, it looks like work in progress rather than a final project. No hard feelings, that's just my impression.
Very clever redesign choices! It is truly intriguing. Though I enjoy light colored websites, they can seem boring really quickly, as was the state of the old one.
Introducing a bit of color and accent really helps there, together with new images and a good font. Props to your mate. :)
Glad you like them! Thank you! 🙏
Please do this kind of video on regular basis. It will be really helpful for us.
This is so good. ❤️❤️😍❤️❤️
in my opinion, if you would have made golden primary color as a gradient, it could have been even more premium!
I like all redesign episodes.. Also I like starting intro of the video..
I love the move to minimalist web design, it just makes sense. People are overwhelmed with info. these days, so having your website as simple as possible is important.
💯
Awesome 💙
always helping.
Thank you for this Video🙏 It was intersting for me and i would like to see more Videos with redesign.
Beautiful work Ron, just shows how an image can change the whole overall look and feel of a website. :) Thanks for sharing.
I like so much this video.
awesome redesign
Thank you! 🙏
I love this series 😀
Do continue it
And your beard is coming back too 😂
thanks! 😅
this is amazing
🙌
What's the font name of the heading? Its beautiful.
Great !!
Thank you so much... I want to ask one question please
Can you make a website just with Adobe xd without a developer or a programmer?
No, XD is a design tool only, you can't 'build' a website in it, in the same way you can't build a website in photoshop
@@bentleycreative6407 thanks
Whats the name of the font in the main headline???
Watching from the phone, and couldn't read the H1 until you said what was there... In general i agree with the direction, but something...less custom would feet better in terms of fonts
Where did you buy your glasses? I like them! :)
they're probably prescription glasses so he would've just picked them up at a glasses store or at his optometrist.
What is the best method//how can i practice UX to become strong candidate for ux/ui job position ?
Sir ran, give us some bad design to improve,we will subit and u can judge it and help us to improve, where we can find site to design?thanks for these helpful videos

This is cool, please I want to learn JavaScript
We wan every Insta story redesigns here!
How to I learn advance level website design ?
Start doing beginner level design, I recommend trying to replicate a nice one from behance or dribbble at first. But keep doing it and after a few projects you'll be surprised how much you improve.
First😂😂🙏❤️
The before website was just the basic Shopify theme without any customization done yet. Was it even live like that?
I thought that it was made by squarespace tbh but yeah I see your point
A lot of companies do similar things, so probably yes. But it means there's enough work for all of us
@@Pogohontas. Yeah, with the rise of companies like Shopify and Wix it is getting harder for businesses to stand out from the croud.
@@CheaterChalange for sure. And those companies help weed out the low end of "tire-kicking" clientelle
The new one looks definitely better then an old one. But I don’t like a horizontal border at the bottom of the header. It is too contrasty. Besides, logo is too small or the main menu font size is too wide. Maybe it needs to change a font in the menu and ordinary text, because it is hard to read. No one care about your offer if it is hard to read. But only a split test can prove me right or wrong!
I dont love the fact you do more website UI than Graphics Design
Nice video, but video with works of your students was more helpful and interested 💪
Can I ask you why you didn't find this one as helpful?
Thanks for the feedback. 🙌
I personally think he went too crazy with font 🤔
The colors are fine, but the fonts...looks like has been copied from 12 years old template. :-\
Everything is awesome, while...type is not very legible. Consider target audience...might be too much.
