Kosas is my holy grail too. 53, dry skin, deep set eyes.... it took me over 50 years to find something that worked. LOVE. You may have done it, but a one and done shadow tier video and drugstore concealers are my request.
I LOVE the Kosas concealer as well but I feel like I run out of it super quickly and it’s pretty pricey 😩 so sad that now I have to find an alternative…
glossier stretch settles in every line possible under my eyes. i never even knew i had that many fine lines till i tried that concealer. good as a foundation if you have dry NON-ACNE-prone skin. acne prone skin should def stay clear of this

@@zaraskibola8807 np! hope it helps. Fit me is my fav tho not HG idk if i will ever find a HG as i am ageing and have fine lines to contend with along with the dryness. Might have to try the kosas. concealers are still lacking imo. makeup has advanced so so much in just 5-6 years but concealers for ppl with fine lines and wrinkles that won;t make that area worse is still not there imo. I often skip concealer b/ it looks worse of w/ a concealer than without .

Btw did you ever try the kosas? I did and it was one of the worst concealers I've tried recently. They didn't have anything close to my shade, and it dried out my undereyes like nothing else! I don't know how it happened, but after about 4 hours of wear my undereyes were so dry it almost looked and felt like it was flaking off. Did it work for you?
I've been enjoying the Armani luminous silk concealer for everyday undereye looks, unpowdered. And sometimes the Dior or Tarte creaseless concealer when I need full coverage. I'm starting to wonder if a HG concealer is a reality, or if I need to just use different concealers depending on the day and situation.
@@oceanbird. Hi! I never tried the kosas as I got an under eye corrector (la girl pro and flower beauty corrector) and have been layering fit me on top. I think a fluid concealer like in a squeeze tube or mini pump is what i like best. pot ones crease like crazy and dofoot ones like kosas are hit/miss or drying, but a liquid one might be nice i think. i think there is a new loreal liquid one in a squeeze tube im eyeing that as target has 20% off on it atm. DIor n armani have fragrance so i won't be trying that. Heard good things about tarte creaseless that's on my to try list.
@@ninjaturtles12121 the Tarte creaseless concealer is pretty full coverage and I never have to worry about it getting dry! I also love the tinted hydrator and setting spray from that line, they are some of my faves.
So when you use the color corrector, do you go over it with your foundation? Or is the fit me a powder? I use a color corrector too and it gets weird sometimes with too many layers under the eye so I'm always looking for ways to reduce the layers
You should rank all the products from a brand! Like a Glossier, Kosas, Milk Makeup etc etc

Just because you are organized doesn't mean you have ocd, it's like everyone claiming to have anxiety nowadays. These are real disorders that people have and have been diagnosed by a doctor.

You should definitely try the too faced born this way concealer. It is my all time favourite, its full coverage and not drying.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is one of the BEST concealers EVER!!! Hands down!!! The matte concealer.. wow, talking about dry!!! It pulls the skin under your eyes.. but I respect your opinion.. to each his own. But we clearly have diff tastes bc I am not a fan of neon shadows. No shade whatsoever!! I enjoy other artists who have their own personal style. And I learned about a brand that I had never tried.. Kosas and I will def be trying that one out. Thanks for your video!

Wait I love the UD concealer! I dont feel like it looks heavy at all, and its so skin like! I also have dry undereyes. Goes to show how different products can perform on different people. The Hourglass vanish one though ... That is heavy concealer central! We do agree on the Dior one though, that's the GOAT.

Awesome video Jaime!!!! I’m loving the Lancôme! I love the CT and the Urban Decay!!! I’m 53 and when I got the UD I out it on immediately in the car and absolutely fell in love with it! Lolol I only use a tiny bit but it stays on for hours! I love the YSL but really need to get my hands on the Dior!!
The Kosas concealer went bad on me so quick. I couldn’t even finish half of it and I had to throw it out .’) it’s so nice though

@@smileyshani2252 I think because it’s ‘clean’, it has no preservatives so it goes off quickly :/
@@MT-rl3rx yep, no preservatives is exactly why. Every time you open it and air gets in and using the applicator, etc. is just letting microbes get in and form with no preservatives to fight it off. I know a lot of people are against preservatives or certain ones, but they’re necessary unless you want to just waste your money because there’s pretty much no way people are going to use up the product before it goes bad. Personally for me, I’d rather stick the preservatives that have been used for yeaaaaaars and tested for years given all the time they’ve been used, so proven, over not using any or newer ones that haven’t been tested long.
Thanks Jamie! Decided I needed something more high end for my 50+ under eyes. Hung out at Sephora comparing your top tiers and went with the Rare Beauty, which I wouldn't have even looked at if it weren't up there on your list. Sets nicely, minimal creasing (PML setting powder) and lasts all day, and that's a glasses, masked, nursing day. Awesome!

It's the Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer!! It's my holy grail, so hydrating and beautiful, and gives good coverage too if you let it sit just a little bit before blending into the skin! Chef's kiss as Jamie would say 💯👌🏻

I love these ranking videos. Keep doing them please! They are the go to beauty vlogs now imo. Most of us know how to put on makeup now, but its knowing what products we should buy/try that's the dilemma now, especially comparing a mix of high end and drugstore products, so that we have options.

Love this!!! I’m always looking for a better concealer. My holy grail was the Dior forever skin correct until I was led to the Lancôme teint idole ultra wear camouflage. Similar to the bye bye under eye. I have very dark circles and it’s definitely my holy grail!

my personal holy grail (only concealer I used for 2 years, every day) is the stretch concealer by glossier! Absolutely adore the product. Edit: I do have oily skin, but my under eyes can get a bit dry.

I didn’t like the Dior at all and went back to shape tape recently and so glad. However I’m more combo oily skinned so think it really comes down to skin type and also how you apply it. I used a tiny tiny brush to spot conceal any pimples and it’s awesome! I do like the Lancôme concealer a lot right now too when I want something less matte than shape tape.

jamie loved this video, just wished you addressed the poor shade range some brands offer for their concealers. Especially, for people of color, that struggle to find a shade that maches them when brands only have a super small or poor shade selection.
Me being pale I am also struggling with finding the right shade… I’m just lighter than the lightest in many brands and I’m not the lightest person on earth…
YSL Touché Eclat for the under eyes is AMAZING 🤩
Not in the video but I tried the Rimmel London Match Perfection concealer after one of your drugstore videos and now it’s my everyday concealer! Super great price, hydrating and lasts all day :)
The milk sunshine undereye tint concealer isn't drying on me and has a nice texture but I will admit there's something weird about the way it sits... try the Fenty bright fix eye brightener. It's just as light and similar thin texture, lighter coverage, but without the whatever weirdness that is that I can't really put a name on the milk does... the fenty is perfect...a couple others that are similar but blend in and melt right into the skin but with that light, thin bendable texture, I would say the Sisley if you've got the 120 to drop on it, is top notch, then a cheap one that's amazing in this category would be the Florence by mills, nothing weird there, and Hourglass Veil retouching fluid, I love. Hey one that's really good and blends like butter, still lighter coverage but a little more than these I mentioned, one that's literally amazing and invisible but does a tiny bit more than these is the Kaja Don't Settle, and it's affordable. I also love the Kosas, you can always count on it , it's the best, and really hydrating... if I want more coverage I also love the Laura Mercier, and another with coverage that's really bendable and basically undetectable for the amount of coverage is the Clinique beyond perfecting super concealer in the little tune, it's really underrated. And the Pat McGrath. GLOSSIER is an HG for me. And so is the ARMANI Luminous Silk Concealer. For its gorgeousbendable texture... also love the Koh Gen Do, the Bobbi Brown intensive skin serum concealer, Clarins Instant concealer, Lancome Maquicomplet for its beautiful, bendable gel texture really amazing that one... Benefit Boing hydrating in the stick, Make Up For ever ultra HD,. Are all really nice for different reasons but look good on my 40 year old dry skin... .I had probably 75 concealers, and I just decluttered and gave a bunch to my sister... lol I'm sort of a concealer junkie... some of my absolute faves are discontinued :( like the badass Tarte Aquacealer which I luckily still have 1 and a half of,, Mac Waterweight which was so thin and lightweight but had surprising undetectable coverage, my total HG was Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting... Nice video format, I love how you put your opinions down on the chart...

Completely agree with the fenty one, I tried to like it so badly , but it was sooo drying, and I’m combination skin not even super dry. I could not get it to work for me. After I purchased the Dior on and loved it! Also love the rewind one for everyday!

Love the Kosas concealer. I think it’s the only one I’ve bought twice. But…I really want to try the Dior Forever concealer. I’m not a fan of the Hourglass vanish concealer on my 51 year old eyes. The Nars soft matte is perfect for the face. I remember the Bobbi Brown was popular like the Laura Mercier, but it was terrible. My drugstore choice for light-med coverage is the Revlon Candid. 🥰
make up artist of 12 years! I loved Dior so much never creases. But I’m here in this trying to replace it after noticing I stopped using it awhile then started back and my itchy eyes came back! Linked it to my holy grail Dior. Try it out keep your receipt in case you’re sensitive like me. I went thru multiple bottles thinking I had allergies even changed my mascara because I’d never thought it was my concealer

Omg yes the Kosas and Dior concealer!! I just bought a new door in 3WO, I painfully but patiently went through 3W (the undertone was off and didn’t realized their olive tones ran even more yellow) whoops. Loving the rating videos btw can’t wait to catch up and binge the rest 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Went and bought Kosas. Yes, its very light on the skin. Doesnt feel like anything at all. Set it with Laura Mercier powder. BUT it did not work for me. It creases and by the end of the night its.... gone. Im "brown" type of girl with dark circles. Yes, it does cover them, but I don't like that it creases on me. The Tarte shape tape is better for me, even though is more heavier.

I just tried the KVD cuz I bought the balm which I love. I did not like the KVD concealer as well as the ELF. Holy grail for me.

That Laura Mercier secret concealer stick is amazing if you buy it to use as a color corrector! I have super dark undereye circles, so I got it a shade darker and cooler than my skintone so it would really cancel out the bluish/purple under my eyes. It applies and blends super quickly, and layers well under my regular concealers! I can definitely see how someone wouldn't be a big fan using it just as their regular concealer though.
I actually really like the benefit industrial strength concealer! Funny, like we say in Spanish, para gustos los colores

The Tarte Shape Tape did not work at all for me. I was so bummed because it seemed as if everyone was loving it. However when the creamy version came out it was a winner for me. I was watching this video because I want to see if there is another concealer I may want to try as I am almost out of my Shape rape one. I think I am going to grab the one from Kosas.

I have the laura mercier concealer and it doesn't have enough coverage for me. I prefer the Born This way concealer or the Joeur one
I’d love a video of you ranking the neutral eyeshadow palettes you’ve tried! Also liquid highlighters, and MLBB lip colors.
Fitglow concealer has been my go to for dry skin. Full coverage, but you can sheer it out. Not drying, looks like skin. It works perfectly for dry under eyes and can even be blended out as a foundation. It’s not sold at Sephora, which is my only complaint with your comparisons. Including drugstore (not at Sephora), but not quite covering other options? What about Hynt Duet, which is at Ulta? However, it’s impossible to cover all, I suppose. Great comparisons!

Ok so just a thought, for the really drying concealers, do you think it would help if you mixed it with an eye cream then put it on? It’d be like making your own tinted moisturizer but for your eyes. Idk if it will work but it might be a cool video to try dry concealers one more time.

KOSAS is my holy grail. One of the very few concealers that I’ve actually used up the entire thing and repurchased. Is it just me or does the hourglass vanish concealer smell weird? Or did I get a bad batch 🥲

I love this concealer! Picked it up years ago when Sam R. was using it. I use it as a “foundation” when I travel. It works great. Shade range is garbage though. :(
may i ask what's better abt the kosas or even dior over the fab avocado? I can't decide between the fab avocado and the kosas one
@@ninjaturtles12121 the kosas one is just a creamier texture than the FAB one. Same with the Dior but it has the most coverage of the three. The FAB feels like a mix between a creamy one like Kosas and a serum concealer. It just has a thinner texture. I don’t know if that’s helpful but hope so! I will say that per oz. the kosas is actually very expensive, which is what led me to trying the Dior and the FAB ones. I just was going through the kosas so quickly!

I want to love the Nars soft matte so bad. The color is amazing and it actually covers my redness (which almost no concelar does) but it cakes on me so badly not matter what I do, especially around my nose.
As someone who has severely dark circles shape tape will always be a holy grail and it looks just fine on me, I have oily skin and my under eyes are not dry.
