I wish there was some sort of easter egg in Skyrim where if you set up camping supplies in the Pine Forest and stay the night, the ghostly woman pays you a visit.
That would be extremely cool!
Modds.
are there any similar mods?
Then, Dragonborn said “MmmmMm! Nice soul you got there…”
*Pick up Azura Star*
“Soul Tear!”

My immediate thought was a wisp mother, ofc it could also just be a ghost, but the wisp mothers have always been particularly mysterious
There’s a book in game that goes over wisp mothers, it’s pretty Intresting but even with that yeah they are still mysterious
I love finding the woodcutter's axe by my falkreath home ever playthrough, looks great in a display with the book
It really does!
I have ADHD, so sometimes reading the lore and books of such vast games is HELLA hard to focus on, especially when I’m in the mood to adventure and everything. These kinds of videos are great for that! Subbed and can’t wait to see more!
I feel you on that when I want to adventure I am not gonna read LMAO
If can definitely make the little aspects of open world games hard to enjoy
Great content man, quality stuff.
Would love some more!
i love the idea! the visuals and music were really nice with the story. I rarely read the books when i'm playing but its nice to chill and listen to these stories
The books when playing can seem daunting I get it xD but m glad you enjoyed it!!
The mirror is a great story. After my hundredth play through I read everything.
Could you imagine his wife cutting off the wizard head and being wrong. Done messed it up for everyone.
Like how genuine you sound. It's hard these days to find any new low sub channels that aren't dogshit AI horrible garbage.
Please go on. I rarely sub, especially when asked to, but did here, and liked too. Not sure why, but eh, thanks for the tale!
Well I appreciate it! I’ll try not to let you down o7
Hert is married and she is out during the day
Honestly, I really enjoy these types of videos. But it is your channel, do what makes you happiest you'll have more people subscribe as long as they see you're enjoying your work.
Oh, this series has the potential to go HARD. Keep it up!
You're. Perfect. Keep it going. I love skyrim lore. you're my new favorite.
I remeber reading the book alone at night and actually getting chills. This video helped me revisit that moment. So good!
Loved the video, you should do Cabin in the woods next! I subscribed and liked bro!
I read it in this one:)
Hah not my fault I fell asleep to these vids lol
Please make more videos like this I don't usually read skyrim books but those stories would make me read every book xd
I plan on doing more xD I dont blame you some of them are pretty long
Damn this is the best series I've found. Somebody who reads the books with that skill of story telling that makes you feel the same lull you'd feel as a child when a parent read to you before you went to bed.
Ragnar the Red
I read this book on my very first play through. I spent time looking for the ghost woman i thought it would of been a hint or unfinished quest
i've never actually read these books in game so this was super interesting! the idea that hert is connected to local folklore is interesting, but i don't think it's necessarily true. one of the stories mentioned the soldier attacking the ghostly woman but his attacks had no effect which makes me think she's non-corporeal. i'd love to see more videos like this in the future!
This is awesome great video! got a new sub :>
I always wondered about Hert not having a real background story or quest connected to her, despite being quite pecuilar.
This story does seem like the missing link I was anticipating. There is nothing really contradicting the fact that Hert is indeed the woodcutters wife.
Right!? It’s like there’s some holes in the theory but it’s still just a little too much of a coincidence
scary lore now your speaking my language
Just subbed! Ty for this video. Hert and Hern are 2 of my favorite characters. Absolute sweethearts. If I was Hert or Hern I would be so happy
Thank you for this. Im so glad i found this channel . I hope you keep the lore stories going!
It's a cool video but you will need to boost your volume up in the future 😅
Spooky
Good. I subbed. I only have one request (for storytelling): Slow down a bit and take your time. Breathe.
Personally, I think She's just taking advantage of that Folktale, She could be the Woodcutter's Wife but a few details are missing.
Nic video bro it's relaxing and interesting and I love Skyrim lore subbed
Well i couldn't find any horror movies satisfying lately . Your story was way more entertaining and engaging than those. You gained my subscription.
Horror movies have kinda went down the drain sadly:/
My favourite horror movies of late have all been the 70s, 80s & 90s classics. A great one that you mightn't have seen is slumberparty massicre which has people who don't feel like complete idiots & feel like real people. But this video was a great horror thing reminds me of some short stories I wrote round halloween last year the same vibe. A visitor however in that was evil but in a creepy unexplained way I really had to resist explaining as I understand horror works best when you lack understanding of motives & reasons for supernatural things.
Man this actually makes me want to read these two books myself playing Skyrim.
You should! A lot of the books are actually really good
@@MeowmyTV ima read those two books near falkreath in the woods at night to get them goosebumps lol
That was cool and spooky. Good job 👍
i subscribed even before playing the video this is really great keep i up man
very nice video! i like the calm music, makes the spooky theme a little relaxing as well.
When you said Hert, I thought you said "Hurt", as in the NIN/Johnny Cash song.
LMAO, I hert myself todayyyyy
When I first played Skyrim, I used to read all the books and try to see if I could find the locations in the game or all the ghosts. I disagree with you. The ghists in the game stick pretty close to the letters and stories that we find about them. Like if they are on a schedule. There is nothing to suggest that the vampire lady is in any way connected to the wizard.
That is pretty fair and they do stick close to books and letters, that’s why it’s just a theory that hert is the ghostly woman, just she coincidentally runs a lumber mill, but there is no proof that the ghostly woman even exists at all, that’s the beauty of these kinda stories
@@MeowmyTV There are quite a few ghosts in the game, I am surprised the woodcutter's wife doesn't have anything in particular. Having a female ghost wandering the woods crying would be creepy. Especially if you mod the game for gloomy or realism. Ghosts look scary as heck.
@@bobcharlie2337 i agree that would be very creepy and a cool easter egg like the headless horseman, even wisp mothers are unsettling, could've used more of them imo
I am restarted and can't read the books in Skyrim, so i really enjoyed the video! Keep jorking it, bro!
I’ll jork like my life depends on it o7
Dont take this personally, ignore it if you like, do whatever you want, follow your heart and your good feelings/intuituon. And delete this if you feel like it.
This is just my take on the video as a cold viewer. Im only saying my perspective, and its just me and my take on it, im not speaking on behalf of anyone else, and only saying this in case its relevant info for you to use for your greater success. maybe u want to hear it, maybe you dont, and in that case dont let it influence you.
Thumbnail is good and is the reason why i clicked. That entire intro doesnt need to exist. First 50 seconds is completely wasted, you dont need to explain yourself, nor should you, as its not why people came to watch. They click because they were already interested. After that you have mere seconds to hook people into continuing to watch.
The volume of the storytelling is low compared to intro and outro and hard to hear at times with any amount of background noise IRL. If choosing to speak low, edit the audio for a volume boost.
Keep your video crisp and to the point by putting your offtopic comments, questions and requests for feedback to the audience in the comments. When a video is short in length, every additional minute of unrelated editorial commentary becomes a larger and larger percentage of the video runtime. I had this playing in the background while doing dishes, my hand were wet so i couldnt turn it off and just became less and less impressed with the meandering off and wondering if it would end soon or if i really would have to dry my hands to change vids.
Review and compare what youre doing with your own favorite videomakers, and emulate their winning formulas, and mix and match techniques to make your own brand.
Of a 12 minute video, 3+ minutes total are rambling, aka 25% of the contents run-time Something to keep in mind. There is a time and place and space for things. Your video is basically a product. Think carefully about what youre putting in it.
I appreciate the constructive criticism and I’ll keep it in mind
always loved how morrowind felt like a horror game at times love that aspect of this series
I loved the creepy feeling of the morrowind crypts so so good
This series has such great potential!! Looking forward to your videos!
Never watcued your vids but i like these skyrim book reads. Do more.
This is the kind of content I would pay to see! I hope you do more. Well done 👏🏼
thank you!
Subbed. I don't play Skyrim anymore, but lore vids like these keep me going while I wait for TES6.
this was incredible! i woke up with really bad anxiety and this really helped soothe it so thank u ! ❤✨
im glad i could help!
I really like your vibe! Just subbed and looking forward to more like this 😊
Thank you! I like your vibe too
i love spooky stories and i love skyrim. looking forward to more of these videos from you!
After over a decade of playing, I never knew this was lore. I rarely bothered with books due to not enjoying a clogged inventory and each book being 1 pound. Never bothered with building a house or library either
With books like these it’s not really cannon lore (from what we know) I call it lore cause it does add to the world and makes it feel more alive and it’s fun to think that they are real in the world
I want more! This was amazing 🤩
I beleve its a folk tail but at the same time its elder scrolls so unlike most folk tails IRL this is most likely 100% true and we as the player just dont encounter her. Ither cuzz we are too dangerious or it just dosent happen as teh dragonborn we have put down many ghosts spirts vampires draugr u name it we've put it down. So she probably just dosent apear to us. Memeber we are our selfs are legend given form agien. So no reaison to dismis this folk tail. and no i dont beleve its hurt. I beleve hurt is a fairly inocent vampire. Sure she feeds on people. But thats just a necesisty thing.
Interesting.. I really like that idea!
I love this! You should def make more!
Everyone says that the Shack in Morthal
This is awesome, I’d be down for more content like this. Gonna check out your new video next!
I love this idea! The music is perfect.
Love this channel! 😊
I love this so much please keep doing this!
I’m intrigued by this idea!! My only suggestion would be to consider multiple takes while you read to cut out any unnecessary pauses or removed moments where you stumble over your words! It will make it more polished and keep listeners immersed
thank you ill keep it in mind!
i like the theory man have i bit more confidence in them if you continue to do theries with theries(i know thats easier said than done runing a channel of my own) there are no wrong theries as long as you can back it with some facts and you did that well keep it up👍
Keep making these kind of videos
aye aye captain o7
Great video
Thank you
Hell yes man. I love listening to these stories. Even though I've beaten this games a million times, I still like hearing people tell these stories. Sometimes people include things others don't. The way you tell the stories are good too. You don't raise your voice or have monotone voice. Sounds like I'm listening to a book on tape. Liked and subbed
nice story telling ,cause some of book in skyrim has an intresting story but i don't have time to read
Thank you! And I completely understand lmao
I liked the video but next time you might wanna speak louder
MORE
IM WORKING ON IT DONT WORRY
Love it!
I like yoour pfp😂❤
Thank you!
I enjoy this very much. please do continue! I been playing Skyrim for years and never knew about this story, or any spooky story.
To be fair most of us don’t read the books xD I didn’t until recently and it sent me down a spiral
