- Instead of tearing down an old lean-to horse barn on the farm, we opted to repurpose it into an indoor / outdoor entertaining space for our Old World Garden Farm, complete with an outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, bar and fireplace!

Do you have any advice on how to get started on these kinds of projects after buying the land? Do you hire out contractors, are there certain pumps, heating/cooling equipment you tend to use, is there a company you use for the gravel? The awesome retro fridge? I know it’s a lot of questions but as someone whose never done anything like this before but wants to I figure asking these sorta things can’t hurt; love the content guys, thanks for your time!
So glad you enjoy the content and great questions! The best thing you can do after you purchase is spend some time really planning and laying out things. Things will always change, but you have to have a plan to start with for sure. We always create a time line or at least a wish list time line to hopefully put things in motion. As for contractors, yes, we have over the years developed our go-to people for things we can't do ourselves. They are really great for also helping with ideas the more we know them as well.
