Why Regional Albury Still Has Great Potential?

Albury has grown significantly during the covid periods similar to regional Melbourne. However the data metrics still indicate strong house price pressure. It will not grow as fast Townsville or Perth however for those looking to diversify and willing to be patient can still buy a high quality investment property in a large economically diversified regional district. Its important to buy in the right suburb and the right pocket of that suburb to maximise yields and returns.

If you buy an established property in Victoria, do you need to pay Land tax upon settlement or just the yearly ones?

I believe if the previous owner owed land tax for the current year, a portion of the land tax may be adjusted at settlement. But you can double check this with your conveyancer and/or your tax accountant (if they are property savvy). Glad you are enjoying the content!
