Whenever I think of Revenge Papyrus I just imagine him slapping the Charas with his "lower bone" instead of the one in his hands with his hands behind his head to show the lack of arms used.

I kinda regret phrasing the stuff I said on my classic sans video as poorly as I did & it explains my views very poorly, I don't think you have to make things identical as long as it's coherent and makes sense for the character. The death battle analogy is the only thing saving that video from being redone because I feel like it helped get across what I meant to death battle fans & death battle fans only. Classic Sans & his moveset doesn't make sense for the character. I don't really think he's that coherent either. I think revenge is fine, though.

5:16 I'm going to be honest. If you wanna make revenge TRASH, then remove spin. Because without spin, attacks are easy to avoid. No spin?= almost no hits= almost no meter= attacks are easy to avoid. So the character that needs the whole chara team to be good at dodgin, transforms into an useless trash that relies in his phase 1.5 since it gives 40% meter, and even there, it would be quite hard to win.

I've learned that fresh bat kinda counters revenge because you can camp near the bone and when he tries to get it you push him away and your teammates then attack him, pretty fun ngl
the orange variant for revenge would appear when he was first released but i think after a few days they removed it since i think the orange variant was useless
I feel like spin is a NECESSARY addition to Revenge's kit. Not only is it predictable, but the payoff is inconsistent. It needs this reliable form of meter gain or else he just gets rushed to death in record time. Not only that, but Revenge-just like his swap counterpart-is helpless against stallers. Here's how I would change Revenge: -Spin replaced with a mobility tool -New move to improve neutral -A way to sustain meter -Nerfed bombs at high meter

I feel like Act 3 might not be high up on their list of priorities. They still have other things to work on, but it might come in a later update (or they might add it simultaneously with last breath phase 3 to fit it thematically)
@@sockoosa5808 Personally think ACT 3 shouldn’t be added. Disbelief’s 3 phase model is already scuffed as hell and we sure don’t need a repeat of that.
yeah same here because a big floating head with a survival phase is kinda hard to work with and the devs like to make unique attacks instead of just taking the attacks we see in the game and putting them in ulc so they might not even want to develop it tbh

1:09 is false you do indeed get diffrent meter stuff 25% for if you have killed no charas yet 50% if you killed one and 75% if you killed almost all if them
tbh if i had to give my thoughts on this guy i dont like him that much like comparing to his pre rework it felt like they barely did anything bombs are the same. He has the colored bonewalls but when you get enough gaster meter you get the paps blue bone attack on top of that there's no gray soul idk why and no act 3 tbh revenges rework feels halved ass those are the best words to put it imo. also, i liked fighting him pre reworked to.

sometimes you don't need to make a sans fight identical to fangames or the original game, this can be the ulc devs own version too

I like that Revenge has a bunch of music choices. My favourite is the Striking the Demon Down remix.
Actually the throw bone alternates between blue and white it doesn’t have anything to do with gaster meter.

On the wiki it’s phrased as if your meter is set to this amount instead of gaining it.
