Your passion is infectious! I dont have a colony of ants but have stumbled across your videos and now I'm considering owning a colony. Keep up the great work
+The Goober Arizona is the best place in the world in my opinion for an antkeeper to be. Cephalotes, Odontomachus clarus, Acromyrmex vericolor, Atta mexicana, Myrmecocystus, three caste Pheidole like P.tepicana and more can all be found in Arizona.
+Zizi YK Assuming you mean the one behind me at 4:00, that is Odontomachus coquereli, and the image is from the renowned ant/arthropod photographer Alex Wild. Great question!
does anybody know where I can get a queen ant I've been looking online I cannot find anything. Please say something to me. I want a queen ant I live in Washington but they don't send it from here.
Check out ants canada .com thats his channel and theres a tab that says live queens and ants for sale just click that and scroll down until you find links with places and countries that you live in and click that. That's all
Mikey has posted videos about that, you'll start seeing queens in normally summer months, a more recent vid shows some schedules for their flights. I recently caught my first ever queen ant! :D
Hi mikey can i just ask you if i can make my ant nest out of hardening modeling clay cause I just got in to the hobby but i'm just 12 so I can't really really afford my own proper made nest
They are so nervous haha, loved it
+Soullscape i know
+Soullscape I wouldn't say I was too nervous - I just always talk rather quickly and tangentially... but glad you loved it!
+Benjamin Blanchard Probably he means that the ants themselves were nervous.
+Benjamin Blanchard so your hands are always shaking?
+Flip Zilip Actually that's what it looks like when Benjamin's hands *aren't* shaking.
Aww bless, just wanted to hold Ben and tell him to BREATH...... lol great vid. Loving the Turtle ants

Can someone help me i caught queen in lithuania in last nuptial flight 3 weeks passed shes alive and has only like 4 eggs is it right ?
As long as you supple water and keep the nest extremely small, such as test tubes, best to have 5-7 workers before you move to a real nest
Actually best to have 50-100 workers before moving them into a nest
I love ants!
I saw you on pets101!

Why not catch one ? It's more fun that way
First ant farm which one omni or gel??????
Never use gel farms, omni is best
Who or what would live in a gel farm plus ants require real protein, so they cant rely on gel for nutrients etc.
+Whostrikes thanks
This is where I live
