      +Soullscape I wouldn't say I was too nervous - I just always talk rather quickly and tangentially... but glad you loved it!

      +Benjamin Blanchard Probably he means that the ants themselves were nervous.

      +Benjamin Blanchard so your hands are always shaking?

    Mikey, did you get a chance to go to the underground exhibit? I was there about 6 years ago and thought it was pretty awesome.

      @AntsCanada  9 років тому +2

      +Jeremy Buscay No, I didn't have enough time to check out that exhibit. I was too busy in the back rooms! I hope to be back soon!

      +The Goober Arizona is the best place in the world in my opinion for an antkeeper to be. Cephalotes, Odontomachus clarus, Acromyrmex vericolor, Atta mexicana, Myrmecocystus, three caste Pheidole like P.tepicana and more can all be found in Arizona.

      As long as you supple water and keep the nest extremely small, such as test tubes, best to have 5-7 workers before you move to a real nest

    • @antsusa215
      @antsusa215 7 років тому

      Actually best to have 50-100 workers before moving them into a nest

      Mikey has posted videos about that, you'll start seeing queens in normally summer months, a more recent vid shows some schedules for their flights. I recently caught my first ever queen ant! :D

    First ant farm which one omni or gel??????

    • @Whostrikes
      @Whostrikes 9 років тому

      Never use gel farms, omni is best

    • @Whostrikes
      @Whostrikes 9 років тому

      Who or what would live in a gel farm plus ants require real protein, so they cant rely on gel for nutrients etc.
