Skillege Motorsports - Driver Excuses - 2019 Grattan Unlimited Race

Footage from the Sunday Unlmited race at Grattan Raceway. The event was hosted by Championship Enduro Series in partnership with AKRA and DKC. We only had 3 entries but had awesome battle for lead with my Driver Excuses teammate and great friend Brad. The track was very bumpy and in conjunction with high temperatures we both began to have brake issues. We had very long pedals and I was trying to pump the brakes back up before every corner. You can see my left leg doing this a lot during the vid. The brake issues forced us both to pull in early but still had fun time and as always so thankful to GOD for his watch care and blessings to do this hobby.

I race 125 shifters unlimited (WKA) . I have notice that the 250/450 class is dwindling . The UK ,Europe ,Australia , Irish , New Zealand and South African Superkart classes are alive and very popular . Something has to change to get the Superkart series up where it belongs . Maybe a pre race for Imsa . Contemplating on moving up . Daytona Week May , If we are lucky , see about 6 karts arriving . Thanks for sharing this video . matrixi4i At Mid Ohio we had 30 plus 250’s but yes at many events we don’t have the best numbers. Hoping more people come out and race. Pitt has a chance to be large event too
