This was actually a great interview by Howard , the nicest I’ve seen him RIP David Crosby Your music will live on. How he closed his eyes when the song came on.
❤❤ David ❤❤ his voice was on the radio when I was a little girl..he sang with CSNY when I was a preteen..and you've been in my whole life ever since..Rip David..sweet twinkle in your eyes and that little boy snarky smile..love you and all yours ❤🧸🦁👑🕊️✌️
I have followed him since 1965, through all his ups and deep downs, and despite his often abrasive personality, I keep on. His voice, his most recent music -- and these songs coming out of him now, from the last few years -- I just can't pull away.
Howard was really just wonderful and respectful to a great singer music writer and David was just simply David. Enjoyed this interview so much. Yup, that song made me pause for a bit but David sang it so well. "PHD in fun". Love it. Me too.
We all love you David!!!I am 64 now, grew up Always listening and going to concerts.. Crosby Stills, Nash and Young.....and as individual musicians... beautiful so many , many stories......🎶🎼🎵🌹🌹🎼🎼🎼🦋🌻✌️✌️✌️
Love the jazz vibe of the record Howard played. Both his sons are very musical. He has another child and one died. Jan his wife was a huge support and David has said that a number of times. He left us with amazing music. Love you David. 😥
Thank you David for your music. It's been an important part of my life's mosaic. One that wouldn't have been complete without you. I can almost see you in the distance. Will catch up soon enough. Peace...
Man, Crosby looks EXACTLY the same as his younger 1967 self, only grey. And he still has that voice. "If I Could Only Remember My Name", his 1970 solo album, is incredible.
David, PLEASE keep going!!! We need your voice! So happy you really get what life is all about! We are AL:L getting older but we ALL can still love music and keep bringing what we individually can!
RIP David Crosby. He knew his day was coming to cross the rainbow bridge. So much great music from Me Crosby whether it be from the Byrd's, Crosby Stills and Nash and Young, solo and with Graham Nash. He was true to his craft til the end.
David Crosby is asking if he should continue. Should the sun continue to turn? Yes, in both cases. Love you always. 🌞80, 100. Doesn't matter. Those are numbers. Your soul flies free, forever. Thank you for the music.
Just listened to David with the LIghthouse band and it was stunning with those female harmonies and the acoustic treatment....stunning concert that I think is released now on CD
Record companies screw the artists with streaming. I worked with a '90s rockstar. One day in the 2010s, I said to him in an excited fan kind of way, "Hey, I heard (your song) on Pandora!" He said, "Great, I don't see a dime of that. ANY of that." Sad but true.
R.I.P. David. I never thought that I'd see the day when you weren't around. You were my all time favorite. Peace, love and let your freak flag fly my brother. Most people do not know how important he was. From The Byrds to introducing so many bands including The Beatles to eastern sounds which became psychedelia to teaching Joni Mitchell his strange acid jazz folk guitar tunings and chords.
good interview ...so teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom..Psalms.90:12...so true. Thanks for the reminder in this portion.
Had the pleasure and completely humbled in Cincinnati OH, think it was 1977 or there about… me and my buddies were on a southeastern circuit tour, (somehow I think it was Steve Cole, an icon booking agent and concert organizer, talented and driven) or another friend, had the 7 of us in our band were sitting in a hotel room right before they went on later that night. It was C.S.N. & Y, all together plus us. It was surreal to this day. I do remember distinctly David was cranky, however I could sense his sincerity from the heart. God Speed!
RIP Davis Crosby. One amazing artist and human being. 🌱
Thank you David Crosby for giving us beautiful music for all of these years. ☮️

Howard has grown do much. He's so mature here
It's sad

Loved watching him with Stephen Stills - and Graham Nash in Ft Myers a few years back - wearing the Wooden Ship shirt
His music, and his mustache lives on.
repose en paix DC, tu as bercé toute mon adolescence, tu es écouté et respecté jusqu'à Madagascar.😢
One morning I woke up and I knew you were gone... RIP David Crosby...
Great harmonies on their songs eh?
Touching
Awesome musician! Great voice!!! :)
I love you David....
RIP David Crosby 🙏🏾
Howard's a clever interviewer. He has his age written down but approximates it to make the question feel more candid.
