I will add that when putting on any capo, you should depress the strings at the sound hole, so your guitar will stay in tune. Tommy Emmanuel does this and it in fact works.

Does this work with Kyser capos?

This is my 3rd choice when it comes to capos. The only 'issue' I have is what TP pointed out is the buzzing of strings. If I'm just practicing, I have no problem using the Performance 2.

I have a g7th performance 2 Capo and I'm loving it. Instead of holding it down with two hands to tighten it, I just pinch the tip and bottom of the capo (with a slight curve) to achieve the same results.

Thanks for the capo reviews Tony! G7th makes really nice capos. I think it is also worth mentioning that they use silicon rubber in the sleeves. That makes tuning adjustments, if needed, much easier because silicon rubber is a little slippery. In most cases retuning can be done without even loosening the capo tension.

Simple, by depressing strings, I mean holding down the strings so they touch the fingerboard. This keeps the tension depressed before applying the capo.

You're supposed to do it after having applied the capo lol. Not before

Have you tried a Thalia capo? Just ordered one and excited to try it.

What is the difference between the performance 2 and performance 3?

The P3 has the Adaptive Radius Technology pad, and is a little chunkier than the P2 :)

I know I'm fighting a losing battle, but here goes: The singular of "criteria" is "criterion." So stating something like "#3 criteria" is like saying "the #3 reasons..." instead of "#3 reason." It should say "#3 criterion." PSA over. Thanks. :-)
