The author looks at the divided populace in the North and South and the attempts at compromise to avoid war that failed upon the attack on Fort Sumter in April 1861. William Cooper speaks at the Atlanta History Center.

Yes and look into his mystery Babylon series. It's entirely audible (not on audible lol) but easy to listen to at work or something. Just requires a lot of rewinding. It's a ton of meaningful information.
