Uniform Update

Since we can't have everyone running around in a one piece jumpsuit, each uniform can be accessorized, and augmented, with matching vests and jackets. These added garments can provide additional power and functions to the standard base uniform.
The boots have also been standardized, at least for humanoids. No belts or holsters are needed as weapons and other devices will attach directly to the uniform at any location.

I like to think that this is an alien species who found our star trek show and they liked it so much that they decided to base their society on it ad try to recreate it with their own superior technology.
