Pretty cover. I like the fall vibes it gives off. It does look like a chonky book. Have you had a chance to look at the OC book planner in more detail? They are doing a year long reading challenge in it, and there are stickers in the back of it for when you complete each month. I think it's an interesting idea, but not sure how I like it quite yet. I won't start my planner till next August, so it'll be awhile before I get to it. I do wish they had made the review box bigger for each book. The title and author sections are too small; they are the same as last year but was hoping they'd make it bigger. I do like it overall though! Happy Thanksgiving to you! I hope your holiday is a good one. :)
Yes, serious fall vibes 🍁 And I did notice the reading challenge, I also thought it was an interesting idea to have it like a choose your own adventure type thing! I'm hoping to be able to do it but it may not be next year with everything going on in my life. And seriously, I do NOT like how small the review boxes are for each book! I was also hoping that they would do it slightly bigger than last year. But same, overall I liked it. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and are enjoying the holidays! 💙
@@nikkilovesbooks I was just thinking about you earlier today! I hope you are doing as well as you can be and the holidays weren't too bad for you. I had a nice time over Thanksgiving. Mom and I went to visit my sister and her family, came back home for about 3 days, then went to my cousin's house for a cookie making/trading weekend. Lots of fun, but lots of driving! Totally agree about the review boxes! So tiny! I don't write a ton, just a small summary so I remember what it was about, but what they've given us, is not big enough! And I know they used to be bigger with more space for more info (pages, copyright date, enough space for the title and author!) Yet, the stuff I do like about it, I really like and appreciate. And I like the artwork and that it's bound, not a ring style spine...
@@LJG7654 Thank you friend, it's been really hard and I'm just trying to survive. Sadly I also got Covid really bad which just added to the stress and the need for me to rest. So glad you had a nice time over Thanksgiving but omg, that does sound like a lot of driving. That was me for Christmas. I went to my brothers, then to my aunt's, then to my mom's, then to my soon to be ex in-laws. So much driving but well worth it to see family. Oh I so agree, I don't even know what they expect you to write in such a small space! Yes, love that it's bound and not the awful ring binding, the worst binding of all time, gets caught on everything! And the artwork is very nice indeed. Hope you're doing well 🥰
@ Ugh, I hate being sick! I hope that you're on the upswing and that it was a mild case. :( I know the holidays had to have been hard for you. I hope that now that they are over, you get some time to yourself to really focus on healing, both physically and mentally! It was a lot of driving. 3 hours to my sister's, 3 hours to my cousin's. Fun times, but I spent too long in the car! Christmas was quiet, nice but quiet. NYE, my mom fell at the airport and my quiet time of several weeks, turned into 11 straight days of driving, working, doctor's appointments and more working. Mom's fine-looking like she was dehydrated and got a little dizzy-no broken bones, just LOTS of bruising. One more appointment to rule out something but not till the end of the month. My fingers are crossed it comes out normal, because I'm ready for her to drive again! As for the planner, I recently embraced the short review section. It drove me batty but now I am just putting a few words to help me remember what the book was about. I do have a secondary book that I purely use to write down book titles, read dates and a little blurb about if I liked it or not. I started doing this long before I ever heard of book journaling and just kept on doing it. So that is where my more detailed reviews are going. I still would be okay if they increased the space though!
Hope you got your book but bummer that you're not a fan of the author. Always sucks when we just don't vibe with them or their writing style. And thank you! 🧡
Book sounds great and that is a stunning edition! Happy Thanksgiving from Canada 🇨🇦
Agreed and thank you! Hope you have a great holiday season 💝
I am getting the fauryloot one. I hope it looks this good
Oh I hope it is just as good! 💕
@nikkilovesbooks I was disappointed in it. I think owlcrate did a better job.
@@laurawessels2490 Aw that is a bummer for sure! Hate when that happens 😑

My book should be here Monday. It's a very low priority as I am not a fan of the author. Hope you are feeling better😊
