  • In this video, The Bearded Butchers show you how to cut and cook pork tomahawk chops.
Tomahawk chops are a bone-in pork chop that is cut from the rib section of the pig. They are typically about 1.5 to 2 inches thick and have a long, frenched bone that resembles a tomahawk axe.
The Bearded Butchers start by grabbing a freshly butchered hog, breaking it down with a handsaw, then running it through the band saw before beginning their knife work to French the bone. This involves removing the meat from the bone, leaving a long, exposed bone that is clean and smooth with a delicious chop attached.
Once the tomahawk chops are cut, the Bearded Butchers season the pork chops with their new ranch seasoning. They then use their branded Yoder smoker/grill to perfectly smoke and sear the chops over StOAKed white oak pellets until they are golden brown on the outside and cooked to 145 degrees on the inside.
The finished pork tomahawk chops are a delicious and impressive dish. They are perfect for a special occasion or a backyard barbecue, especially with Bearded Butcher Ranch Seasoning!

Your customers are incredible lucky to live near your store. Your pork looks real no preservative or anti bacteria chemical dip unlike Johnson pork that we got here in CA. Thanks to USDA stupidity ruining pork industry by requiring to be chemically process. I'm so allergic to those chemical and will get night sweat and heart palpitation like eating MSG. So far I'm able to find unprocessed pork by Smithfield at Walmart but they only carry baby-ribs and loin.
