Thank you for the subtitles, really helps. I'm not deaf/traditionally hearing-impaired but I have an audio processing disorder that makes it really hard to make out words and I will always shout-out a creator that goes the extra mile to provide for their hearing impaired audience

I love part 2 of this story, when he's at Claire's with the girl who's about to pierce his ear, but they can't figure out which ear is the "gay ear", and they can't look it up on their phones because ✨️it was the niiiinetiieeesss!✨️ So they started asking random strangers walking into Claire's which ear was the gay ear and everyone had very strong opinions about it. And I totally remember that this really was an actual thing back then but I'd completely forgotten until hearing Kevin's story and I fucking died laughing.

Yeah. For anyone who doesn’t understand why, Claire’s uses a piercing gun which just shoves the flesh around causing scars. The correct way is by using a thin metal tube (I don’t know what it’s called) that removes a chunk of your ear.
That's where I got me ear lobes pierced 7 years ago and I don't remember too many issues. I was lucky tho they barely train the employees and use bad equipment
I got an infection from claires
Literally my skin would peel and bleed for weeks on end until my grandma noticed, but it was really late so we cleaned them and waited for the morning and they were finally getting better

Also, one of holes is kind of slanted and wonky. I don't think it goes straight thru, there's like a curvy detour.

Recipe for brownies
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
4. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts into the batter.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
7. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

I got my ears pierced at a Claire's near me in December, and they got it right. But apparently the Claire's I went to was know for being sanitary, so luckily i haven't had any infections
