Thank you for your lovely comment. That's true yes, here's the thing.. I also have contributed, regrettably, to 'gate-keeping'. I think for artists (and I'm sure in many other professions), so many people want to know all the in-depth details of how/what/everything to achieve a similar result. Then when plagiarism happens, it's incredibly disheartening and makes you tighten your grip around what you share with the world. However, I'm slowly learning that sharing is only ever a good thing. I still discover people drawing almost exact copies of my work... or attempting to replicate elements of my business... And yes it still stings. But - no one can ever do exactly what you do. Uniqueness is your point of difference and no one can be 'you' or draw 'your' art or copy your business. So, those that plagiarize are always steps behind. SO :) I choose to share and spread my experiences because most importantly, it's amazing to be able to connect with so many wonderful people.
Thanks! Most artist don't tell how they send their art to their customers. I'm planning to set an art commission but I wanna know how to send the art before I start.
It's hard to share these things sometimes as it's highly competitive - but I'm slowly learning that the more positive energy (and information!) you put out into the world the better it is for everyone :) All the best for your commission!!
